Disney Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui (Lost Boy Productions/ BBC Worldwide) is all set to narrate a love story based on the real life of two dancers.
Yes, this love story has been inspired from the real life of dancer-actress Sudha Chandran.
While the Dil Dostii Dance star Vrinda Dawda will essay the character of Sudha in the episodic, her lover boy would be portrayed by Neil Bhatt, who was last seen as Laxman in Zee TV's Ramayan.
Here's the plot of the story. These two dancers will meet at a dance academy and fall for each other. In an unfortunate accident, the girl will lose her legs, but being a true lover, the boy will not abandon her. They will continue to live a happy life together.
Veteran actress Pravina Deshpande will be seen as their dance guru. But she will be a strict woman who will be completely against her students falling in love. She will hold an emotional scar as her daughter would be shown choosing love over dance.
When we contacted Pravinaji said, "I play the head of a dance academy who is a very strict lady. So much so, that no student is allowed to fall in love with the other in her campus."
Neil, on the other hand, said, "It's a very emotional tale. This is also the first time that I am trying my hand at classical dancing. The first sequence has turned out well. Let's see if I manage to perform well in the final sequence too. I just hope this story touches the hearts of viewers."
Vrinda confirmed being a part of the project.
The shooting for the episodic has begun and it will air in the first week of January 2014.
