Similarities

Hey guys I'm Ritika. Though I'm not new to this forum but this is definitely my first post as a separate topic here..well I hope to make some real good friends here in this forum. I really love watching ydsrh these days and am completely in love with the awesome chemistry of the lead pair. 😳
But what I actually intend to share in this post is the similarities between some subplots of the show with kitani mohabbat hai season 2..
Here are the few which I have observed..
1) the name of the male lead being Arjun (which isn't a very valid point I know 😛 ) and that arjuns family harbours some really bad people who are involved in many illegal things except a few members like Arjun's chacha and on the other hand we have Poorvi's family who are honest truthful people who are involved in the legal or administrative system if our country (IAS officers I'm guessing).
This was the same in kmh2 where Arjun's family consisted of goons and dons while arohi's family consisted of police officers and lawyers.

2) in ydsrh we know that Arjun is having an affair with Poorvi's best friend Gauri.
This was also the case in kmh2 were Arjun was having an affair with Arohi's best friend Gauri (same name here too) before Arjun and Arohi became a couple. Though in this case I would hate to see Gauri becoming the villain in Arjun and Poorvi's future love track!

3) they showed in today's episode that Arjun tries to save Poorvi's respect by trying to get her out of that hotel, by hitting the drunk man and also by keeping her away from the police and then again in the end Bachha Singh, Arjun's dad, questions Poorvi's character and tries to humiliate her in front of her family and others while Arjun felt terribly bad for Poorvi.
Again something very similar to this happened in kmh2 too where Arjun's dad tried to humiliate Arohi by questioning her character..

4) though I know that its not a very valid point, they even play kmh's title track tune in the background of many Arjun-Poorvi scenes.

Well these are the few which I've observed till now. If anyone can recall some more similarities plz do share your views in the comments section. No offence is meant to anyone's thoughts and views through this post. It is only meant for a casual discussion and increasing the forum activities.

Well as far i know similarities do exist in daily soaps and EK tends to recycle certain scenes of her own PH shows..

KMH2 was one show of EK and i'm watching YDSRH as a new show without any comparison...what captures my attention is the setup..Patna..the lead actor convo in a Bihari slang..the execution of the storyline and above all the lead actors chemistry..

Navi..Aparna as Arjun..Poorvi have an awesome chemistry ..how their passion ..love for each other remain steadfast even when facing hatred from their families and people around..waiting to watch the future tracks..

Hey correct. I agree completely. I'm sorry I didn't mean to compare the two shows. I was just sharing my view. And about ydsrh, like I said, I'm loving it a lot and its my current favourite right now because of the amazing chemistry the leads share. 😊 and yes with regards to the atmosphere and setup, it's a fresh and unique storyline. I'm also very eager to see the story progress and Arjun Poorvi fall in love. 😊

My biggest problem is the character names :v Ekta recycles all her tracks everywhere, clothes and music, but this time she recycled a couple name ! But it's the chemistry between Navi and Aparna that's making me overlook that so its ok. As long as Ekta doesn't butcher her jodis- which she's known for by now- im watching this :)
