Tollywood beckons
Star One's show, Yeh Dil Chahe More, will come to an end this August. Launched in December last year, it failed to strike a chord with viewers.
Amit Khanna who played the protagonist Veer in the show, says, "Yeh Dil… was a great experience. It's sad that the serial is winding up. Being my first project, it was close to my heart. I wish it had continued. However, a definite storyline was decided beforehand and the channel and producers didn't want to stretch it unduly. As actors, we have to follow their decision."
Meanwhile, Amit has signed a Bengali film that will be produced and directed by thespian Biswajeet. Amit says, "I am playing a double role in this comedy. I chose to do the film as I am close to Biswajeet uncle and he wanted me to act in it. I am open to working in all media."
