Akshay finds out to his horror that the girl he has picked up is not Tara. Vir and Tara are with the Banjaras. Vir gets drunk with them at night. Everybody is drunk, taking advantage of the situation, one of the tribals makes a move on Tara.

She tries to wake up Vir desperately and then runs for her life. Tara's father calls up the Home Minister so as to pressurise the police. ACP Rathore promises to capture both within 24 hours.
