Vip Donned Eight Different Roles

August 28, 2010: Indian Television's comedian actor Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar aka VIP, who won the second season of 'Comedy Circus' on Sony TV, has now shown his acting talent. The actor donned eight avatars in an episode of SAB TV's 'Yeh Chandaa Kanoon Hai'.

Actress Juhi Parmar is the leading lady of the show with whom VIP won the 'Comedy Circus' in 2008. This weekend special episode also marked the 100th episode of the comedy show. In this episode, viewers got to see the pretty lawyer Chanda gifting herself a holiday on her birthday. She packs up for a trip to Shikarpur.

Chanda's divorced husband Vibhuti Narayan, who is also a lawyer, decides to follow her when he comes to know about the holiday trip. He gets in the same train to keep an eye on her.

How can the romantic judge Prem Kapoor, who is much in love with Chanda Rani remain behind?

VIP makes his entry as a ticker checker impersonating Ashok Kumar to make the situation hilarious. His other seven avatars included a gay passenger, a ticker seller like Mithun Chakravorty, a coolie like Dada Kondke, receptionist at a hotel like Johny Liver, a jailor like Asraani, in a spoof on Amitabh Bachchan's 'Shahenshah' and also a waiter like Rajkumar.

Confirming the news, VIP said that he was very excited to play eight different roles at a time in one episode of a show. He said his co ? star Juhi Parmar, who plays Chanda, supported her a lot along with the other team members.........Link .... http://www.realbollywood.com/news/2010/08/vip-donned-roles.html

THIS IS AN OLD ARTICLE ABOUT PADDURM😊Kumkum bhabhi turns Heroine😊

After appearing on Hans Baliye with her husband, Sachin Shroff, Juhi Parmar has now signed on her debut movie opposite Suresh Menon, called Padduram, in which she plays a young mother and Menon plays the father.

€œThere€™s no other heroine in the movie. So I guess I am the leading lady of the film. But the kid is the real star of the movie. Suresh and I are playing an elderly couple, at least from the kid€™s perspective,€ she laughs.

The movie revolves around gas problems that children and elders have and how everyone deals with it, especially when their child is going through it. €œWe all have gas problems but we hate to talk about it, let alone dealing with it. I know there are cases of people falling ill because of gas problems.

Funny title
The title of the film sounds funny because the take on the problem is funny but otherwise, it€™s a serious problem,€ states Parmar, who has already completed 16 days of shooting in Indore and only the climax remains to be shot.

Bheja Fry type movie
Doesn€™t the track record of artistes changing lanes deter the newly married soap star? She replies: €œNo, because today mediums are converging. We€™re all working on every medium that we can. Popular actors are turning to TV and we are moving towards films. Mine is a very Bheja Fry type of movie. It€™s not the typical debut, which I can get apprehensive about,€ adding that her husband Sachin is the happiest about her moves.

This is not the first time that Parmar is acting in a movie. Earlier in 2001-02, she acted opposite Diwakar Pundir in Pehchaan. So how did Padduram become her debut? €œThat was only supposed to be premiered on TV. Sahara had approached producers to make movies for their channel. So, I do have some experience. You can say I interned there and this is my first job,€ she quickly replies. Right.

Though one really missed seeing her on the second season of Chhote Miyaan (she blames it on the mismatched dates), she promises to make her best effort to win Hans Baliye, the couple laughter contest on Star One.

€œSachin has grown steadily. We started out with average scores but have bettered our scores each week. So, whether they bring in wild cards or introduce another element, I€™m sure if all goes well, we might just win,€ she smiles.

Given that she€™s playing a mother to a 10-year-old in her debut movie, would she go the parenting way soon? She smiles, €œYou€™ll have to wait for sometime for that. We€™re just married yaar.€LINK............. http://cafe18.in/2009/07/16/kumkum-bhabhi-turns-heroine

Juhi Parmar goes the Bollywood way.. Juhi Parmar, popularly known as Kumkum will now be seen in a Bollywood film. She is also geared up for her new show on SAB TV, Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai..

Fans of Juhi Parmar rejoice, as your favorite Kumkum will now be seen on the big screen.

She has started shooting for a comedy film called Padduram. "Suresh Menon and I play parents to a child. I can't reveal much about the story except that it revolves around our kid and how we deal with it". On the shift to Bolly, she says "Times have changed and nowadays we are known only as actors and not as TV and film personalities".
Besides this film, Juhi is also busy shooting for her upcoming SAB show titled 'Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai'. "I play a lawyer called Chanda in this comedy court room drama which should start airing by this month end or early August. It's a matter of pride to again play a title role. This episodic serial will showcase various funny cases each week. Asif Sheikh ( Yes Boss) will be the lawyer opposite me, and veteran comedy actor Tiku Tulsania will essay the role of the judge."

Juhi clears the air about her not anchoring second season of Chhote Miyan. "The dates were given quite late to me and by then I had already committed myself elsewhere. It's sad that I cannot take part in this show anymore, it was fun".
Coming to Hans Baliye Juhi says its been a growth for her baliye Sachin. "I have done comedy before but not him, and is not his natural genre. Hence it is a matter of satisfaction that he has improved with very outing. The praise of the judges gives us the energy to put in that extra mile". On below-the-belt jokes, Juhi says "There have been only a few on our show. I can't really speak about others, but we will never do it".

She also rejected the arguments given by some loosing contestants of Hans Baliye, that the scripts were bad. "We were given good material and it is also up to you to choose the one you like".

In closing we could not help but ask Juhi about the winning Jodi of Hans Baliye, to which she categorically said, "I don't want to comment on this".

'Variety is the way of life' - Juhi Parmar

'Variety is the way of life' - Juhi Parmar

Juhi Parmar and VIP are the proud winners of Sony's Comedy Circus Season 2. Here is the actress in conversation...

Juhi Parmar the dutiful Bahu of Television adorned a new avtar in Sony's Comedy Circus and came out with flying colors as she won the second season of the show along with VIP. Here is a jubilant Juhi as she talks about her win…

People had always seen you as a typical bahu… What made you venture into Comedy Circus?
Well, I am not a serious person at all. People who know me can explain this in a better manner; I have this funny bone in me and have a great sense of humor. It's so unfortunate that all consider me as a very serious-minded person. I am glad that thro' Comedy Circus, I could at least showcase this talent of mine to my fans. Winning was not easy at all, as everyone out there were very good. It was a healthy competition throughout and I am happy that all ended on a good note for me.

Did you ever imagine that you could go so far in Comedy Circus and eventually win it?
Not at all, as the initial few episodes were tough. I entered only to go out. I was very ill at that point of time, but I did not want to gain sympathy. We were under-rehearsed and I thank my stars that we got back thro' Wild Card which opened up another opportunity for us.

What is the best attribute in your partner VIP?
The best thing about VIP is that he is very patient; he takes everything very nicely and as a partner I would say he was the one who can create some 135 voices which is an amazing talent to have. Leave alone actors, he can create various sounds too.

Were you in some sort of pressure when you were paired with VIP, who was part of last year's finalist Jodi too?
Not at all, because I thought it will be easy because he was aware of the format and he will come with a clear vision as to which act will work and what will not. Also, I think VIP too has changed a lot now; he used to mug his lines and as an actor, I used to tell him to just get into the character, and even if we forget the lines it won't be difficult for us perform the act.

Any memorable moment you want to share?
Every moment of Comedy Circus was memorable for me. The best has to be the kind of marks I got, and the manner in which the judges used to compliment us...It's ringing in my ears even now!!

You have been into acting, singing, dancing and comedy too. What do you like doing the most?
I love each and every phase. As an actor, I try my best to experiment with different genres. I get bored very quickly, and for me, variety is the way of life. In terms of reality shows, I have not repeated myself just for the sake of participating and gaining money.

7 years and going strong in Kumkum… Don't you get bored there?
Ya, its been a long journey in Kumkum, but I have done nearly 6-7 different characters in that one serial. I was playing a 55 year old woman and the story was a drag at that point of time. So I clearly told the creative that I will leave the show if there is no freshness incorporated. But they supported me and brought in the reincarnation track and we all are enjoying this phase now, and so are the viewers!!

Juhi Parmar-what after Pati Patni Aur Woh After spending a great time on Pati Patni Aur Woh, the stars are at rest now as they have taken lots of efforts for the show especially for the innovative task of looking after the little ones.

We called up Juhi Parmar, the contestant of show to know about her journey during the show. "The show was just like any roller coaster ride for me that included ups and downs. I lived my most active moments of life during the show," Juhi informs.

"It was lovely to be with the kids and we had some of the cute moments together. One of the sweet memories with the child which I remember was when he uses to sleep at night and go round and round just like a clock making different posture all over the bed," actress added.

As the celebs have done with their stint in show they might be missing the kids. "Yes, we missed the kids but only for few days as we were aware that these little guest will be with us only for few days, after all life must go on and can't wait for some one," Juhi concludes.

Well Juhi, it seems that you and your hubby are quite exhausted with the show as you said, so take a chill pill.

Iqbal Khan is hottest Tellywood hunk: Juhi Parmar The beautiful Juhi Parmar of 'Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan' fame on Star Plus is one of the most talked about 'bahus' of Tellywood. The small town girl from Ujjain started her career with Choodiyan as the lead heroine Shraddha Nigam's younger sister and went on to do Shaheen and Virasat before landing Kumkum.

Unlike her serious image, Juhi is quite fun-loving person and a big prankster at heart. Here's a quick take on her:

Q.What's your fashion style?
A.If you are confident then whatever you wear can become a style.Q.Hottest dress in your wardrobe?
A.A short one piece dress!

Q.Ideal romantic getaway?
A.Any place where it's just me and my guy, all alone. If we can find a deserted island far far away with all the facilities, then it would be the icing on the cake. Q.How would you want your guy to woo you?
A.With flowers, cards, sweet talk and all the general romantic trapping which any modern girl would expect from her guy.

Q.Would you cook a romantic dinner for your guy?
A.Why not! I would love to cook a romantic dinner which we can eat under candle light and dance away till the wee hours of the morning. Q.Hottest Tellywood hunk around?
A.Iqbal Khan - his manly voice really impresses me.

Q.What would you do if you won a million dollars?A.I really cannot say as I always work on an impulse. But knowing my nature; I will spend some on my self, and with the rest, I will buy nice gifts for my family and friends, as I really like gifting people I am close to.Q.Can you identify with your character Kumkum?
A.I can't identify with her as she has gone through too much - widowhood etc. But being a small town girl, I can relate to the general values saas-bahu serials propagate.

a intv of ju, mentioning sachin, her movie padduram, ppw, chanda kanoon, kk etc

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/talking-point-with-juhi-parmar/519667/0

You have been making quite a few guest appearances with your husband Sachin Shroff on reality shows. Was it a build up to Pati, Patni aur Woh?
Being actors we end up doing similar kind of shows and people want to see us

together. But we can only do few shows together because it is no fun being together at all times. There are chances that you might get bored. In times like these, we only do guest appearances. Pati Patni aur Woh was a one-off instance where we decided to work together because we wanted to test our compatibility.

What is the main motive of the show?
The motive of this show is to get a hang of parenting. Whenever a person becomes a parent, it's a completely new experience for them and at times they find it difficult to deal with. We will get to see how we deal with it beforehand.

Why did you choose to be a part of it?
I am a very impatient person by nature and I wanted to learn the art of dealing with kids. Moreover, I got married just a few months back and the two of us wanted to see how we react under difficult situations and how we would live through all the ups and downs. In the end, all these hardships will definitely make our bond stronger.

There has been a lot of hue and cry about using children on the show.
There is absolutely no child labour involved here. The kids do not work for money and their real parents are always around to see them. They are not made to work and are taken good care of.

You have been a part of many reality shows in the past, both as participant and anchor.
As an actor, it is nice to be an all-rounder. Although I enjoy playing a character the most, reality shows give you a chance to pursue for hobby. For instance, Say Shava Shava brought out the singer in me, although I was terrible at it. Comedy Circus helped me get my comic timing right.

Post Kumkum, one thought you would be part of more soap operas. But you chose not to.
The only reason was because it takes a lot of time. During Kumkum, I was always working throughout the month and I desperately needed a break. I had also just gotten married and needed more time for myself and my family. But I have taken up a television serial called Chanda Kanoon which is a weekly feature and doesn't take too much of my time.

What's coming up next?
It's a comedy film called Padduram, directed by Ajay Monga

Top
