CHAPTER 9
Nanu turned to Naina, "Isse kya hua? Itna gusse mein kyun hai Sameer?" She looked at him nervously & told him about her husband's visit to the café where she was the one who served their orders. "Nanaji... Unhe shaayad mera café mein kaam karna accha nahi laga, isiliye mujhpar gussa hai." He caressed her head, "Haaa... Gussa toh hai... Tum jao, usse baat karo, samjhaane ki koshish karo. Tum acche se samjaaogi na toh samaj jaayega. Itna bhi buraa nahi hai mera Sameer."
Naina took hesitant steps towards their room & knocked on the door twice. When there was no reply from him, she opened the door & entered uncertainly. She didn't find him in the room & exhaled in relief. But she knew that this topic wasn't done yet. She had to face this. Before she could ponder much, the washroom door opened & Sameer came out after freshening up.
Her heart started thudding loudly seeing his intense gaze on her. Taking a deep breath, she started walking towards her luggage to take a change of clothes. Without looking at him, she rushed off in the washroom. Sameer who was standing there looking at her actions calmed his rage that was on the verge to burst anytime. He started pacing the room waiting for his wife to make her presence soon.
Ten minutes later, Naina came out to find her dear husband pacing the room furiously. She took slow steps towards him & stopped right in front of him, blocking his walk. "Naina... Tum... tum ek chote se café mein waitress ka kaam karti ho, aur yeh tumne mujhe kal raat ko bataana zaroori nahi lagaa? Kyun nahi bataaya tumne Naina? Maine poocha tha na kal, fir tab kyun nahi boli tum? Accha hua wahaan kisiko pataa nahi tha ki tum meri biwi ho, warna pataa nahi kya hota."
Naina shivered hearing his cold tone but yet she stood her ground, "Mujhe zaroori nahi lagaa aapko café ke baare mein bataana. Maine bhi aapko kal raat hi bataaya tha ki meri job se aapko koi lena dena nahi hona chahiye. Hum baahar sirf strangers hai Mr Maheshwari, toh aap bilkul fikar mat kijiye, kyunki meri iss waitress ki job ki wajah se aapki image kharaab nahi hogi."
In an instant, she was pinned to the wall behind her, "Meri image ki naa sahi par Nanu ki izzat ki toh parwaah kar lo. Main maanta hun ki hum duniya ke saamne sirf ajnabee hai par sab yeh toh jaante hai na ki tum iss ghar mein hamare saath rehti ho. Logon ko kya lagega ki tum itne bade ghar mein rehkar bhi aisi job kar rahi ho, unhe lagega ki hum tumhari saari zarooratein poori nahi kar paa rahe. Ek baar bhi tumne socha Nanu ke baare mein, unke image ke baare mein? Nahi na... Bas job karni hai toh kahin bhi kar lo. Kyun?"
Naina hadn't thought about it. He was right, she stayed here with them in this huge mansion & many people knew about this. Was she damaging their image & reputation by working in a café? She spoke her mind when she remembered her talk with Nanaji, "Nanaji ne toh mujhe yeh job lene se manaa nahi kiya tha. Maine toh unhe bataaya tha, tab unhone kahaa tha ki koi kaam chota ya bada nahi hota, toh main yeh job kar sakti hun." She met his glare & continued "Nanaji ne mujhe tab kyun nahi roka? Aur main bhi khud yeh maanti hun ki koi bhi kaam chota yaa bada nahi hota. Kahin se toh shuruwaat karni toh hogi na, fir bhale kitna bhi chota kaam kyun naa ho."
Taking a deep breath, she looked in his eyes again, "Main yeh job nahi chod sakti, kyunki yeh meri zaroorat hai. It's very much important for me." Before she could push him a little & move, he again pinned her to the wall, "Kyun???" Meeting his stare, she replied, "Kyunki main aapke jaise koi bade ghar mein paida nahi hui thi, jisse jo bhi chahiye ho wohh aasaani se mil jaaye. Mujhe mere expenses khud hi manage karne padte hai. Bhale hi main iss ghar mein rehti hun par iska yeh matlab toh nahi ki main aap par yaa Nanaji par mere har ek kharche ke liye dependent rahun."
She lowered her eyes, "Waise bhi mujhe iss ghar mein sirf ek saal hi guzaarna hai. Toh khud ke liye kamaana, khud ke liye akele jeena mujhe sikhna hoga. Har baar koi Nanaji thodi aayenge meri madad ke liye." Her eyes teared up & Sameer loosened his grip on her. His heart ached again seeing those big fat tears. He slowly wiped her tears but remained quiet. He wanted to take her in his warm hug & sooth her pain but he couldn't do it. Even after being her husband, he had no right on her.
They shared a deep eye-lock which was broken by Ramdhari, "Sameer Bhaiya... Naina Bhabhi... Jaldi neeche aa jaaiye, Nanaji khaane ke liye aap dono ka intezaar kar rahe hai." Sameer moved away & mumbled, "Main neeche jaa raha hun, tum fresh hokar aa jaana." She quietly freshened up & joined them for dinner. The meal was a silent affair as even Nanu knew that it wasn't the right time to interfere between them.
After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms. Once in the room, Sameer laid back on the bed & waited for Naina. Fifteen minutes later, she entered & moved towards the cupboard to collect the pillow & the quilt. His eyes followed her around all the while. He was in a fix this time. He hadn't liked the way she had answered him. But something pricked deep in his heart. The way she said that she didn't want to be dependent on him had pained him. But why???? He couldn't understand that why he wanted her to be dependent on him, when he knew that she had a limited stay in this house, in his room, in his life. What was happening to him? Why was he forgetting his self-made conditions all the while? Infact, Naina was following each one of them religiously.
Naina had turned her back towards him & slept on the couch. When she had come home with Sameer, she knew he was pissed with her because of her job. Yet she had decided to continue the job as it was a necessity for her. She didn't correct him that she wasn't a waitress there, she only managed the counter. It was because of someone's absence that she had taken over the serving part to help Preeti. She closed her eyes & firmed herself that she won't give up on this job, she needed it badly.
In her sleep, she turned & faced Sameer who was already staring at her. His eyes wide open & mind busy in thoughts, "Naina... Maine nahi socha tha ki mere kehne ke baad bhi tum iss job ko continue karna chahti ho, wohh bhi sirf isliye taaki tumhe mujh par yaa Nanu par financially dependent na hona pade. Kis mitti ki bani ho Naina??? Maine tumhe kya kuch nahi kahaa, kya kuch nahi sunaaya, fir bhi tumne meri har ek condition maani aur sab agreements bhi sign kar diye, wohh bhi bina koi sawaal kiye, bina kisi shart ke. Mujhe lagaa tha ki tum shaayad jaan bujhkar mujhe apni taraf kheench rahi ho taaki mujhse shaadi karke tum ek aasaan si zindagi jee sako. Par do din se main sab dekh raha hun aur samajh bhi raha hun. Maine shaayad tumhe galat samjha tha Naina, tum waise bilkul nahi ho jaise maine tumhe naam diye the. Aaj tumne yeh job ki wajah se meri aankhen khol di Naina. Mujhe pehle bohot gussa aaya tha, par jaise hi tumne kahaa ki koi kaam chota yaa bada nahi hota, Nanu ki kahi har baat mujhe bhi yaad aa gayi. Unhone mujhe bhi yahi seekh di hai aur main yeh marte dum tak nahi bhoolunga."
His gaze softened looking at her calm face, "Naina... Main tumhari job ke beech mein nahi aaunga. Jo tum chaaho wohh kar sakti ho. Aur aaj mujhe tum par bohot garv ho raha hai. I'm proud of you Naina... Par pataa nahi mujhe yahaan kyun itna dard ho raha hai." He touched his heart, rubbing it slowly. He exhaled deeply & closed his eyes drifting to sleep after tossing & turning for the umptieth time.
The next morning Naina got up at six as usual when Sameer's alarm buzzed in their quiet room. Her gaze landed on her handsome husband who looked devilishly handsome & tempting in his sleep now. She sat on the couch & stared at him daringly. After five minutes, Sameer opened his eyes & his gaze clashed with his wife who was openly admiring him.
"Bas aise hi dekhti rahogi yaa kuch karogi bhi???", his one line made her gasp & look away instantly. Before she could get up, there was a knock on the door. She got up & moved towards the door but Sameer beat her to it & pushed her towards his bed & gestured her to lie down. He swiftly dumped her pillow & the quilt behind the couch. He calmed his breaths & looked at his dazed wife & winked.
Sameer opened the door & smiled seeing Nanu at the door. He had deliberately opened the door wide enough for his grandfather to see that his wife was on his bed. Naina was too stunned to see her husband do this. Nanu stood at the door & ordered, "Tum dono jaldi se neeche aa jao breakfast ke liye. Pataa nahi kyun aaj mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai. Thik hai.", the couple nodded in acceptance & he left.
Sameer closed the door & slumped down sighing in relief. Naina who was still lying on his bed looked at him stunned. How can he act so fast? And how come he knew it was Nanu? She got up hastily & walked to him, "Aap... aapko kaise pataa chala ki Nanaji hi hai darwaaze par?" He looked at her & smiled, "Mujhe iski pehle se aadat hai Naina. Nanu jab bhi jaldi uth jaate hai toh aise hi aate hai breakfast pe bulaane. Par aaj kyun aaye? Unhe toh pataa hai na ki tum bhi ab iss kamre mein mere saath rehti ho. Aur itni subah subah kisko bhook lagti hai? Pehle toh aisa kabhi nahi kahaa Nanu ne."
"Shaayad Nanaji yeh dekhne aaye ho ki hum ek saath sote hai yaa nahi?", Naina replied whatever came to her mind without thinking much. Sameer knew this but didn't voice it out, he wanted her to know about it herself. He stood up slowly, his gaze still fixed on her while she was lost in her whole world. He tugged her hand & she landed on his chest. When their eyes collided, she drew in a sharp breath seeing his darkening orbs.
She shivered in his arms while Sameer enjoyed the effect, he was having on her. "Acchhaa... Toh tumhe lagta hai ki Nanu yeh dekhne aaye the ki hum ek saath bed pe sote hai yaa nahi???", he raised his eyebrows in question & she shuddered once again. He leaned a little & whispered, "Bolo na???" Closing her eyes at this proximity, she replied, "Haannn..." He asked again, "Toh... agar Nanu roz subah aise hi aa gaye toh kya karogi? Roz thodi na hum jaag rahe honge?"
She felt his breath on her ear & she trembled, "Wohhh... wohhh... tab... aap utha dijiyega...", she stuttered. His voice turned hoarse, "Aur agar main khud nahi uth paaya toh? Toh tum mujhe uthaaogi?" His hands that were wrapped around her tightened, "Bolo naa... Uthaaogi na mujhe?" She couldn't react when her handsome charming husband was creating some unknown sensations in her body.
Sameer was enjoying the effect he was having on her. He left her finally & walked to the washroom. Once at the door, he turned, "Good morning wifey...", he winked & disappeared inside the washroom while Naina stood in a daze after whatever stunt her hot husband had pulled on her. Her cheeks turned beetroot red when she remembered their closeness. How easily he would always pull her to him?
Naina walked to the mirror & looked at herself. She touched her red crimson cheeks & blushed more. When she heard the click of the doorknob after ten minutes, she rushed to her luggage. Sameer walked out & saw her taking out dress for the day from her bag that was placed right next to the wardrobe. He took hesitant steps towards her, "Naina... Tum tumhare kapde wardrobe mein kyun nahi arrange kar deti? Yeh har baar bag kholna band karna, isn't it too much?"
She stood up & faced him with a smile, "Sameer... Mujhe kisi bhi cheez ki aadat nahi daalni. Ek saal baad mujhe yahaan se hamesha hamesha ke liye jaana hi hai." She looked around his room without meeting his gaze, "Yahaan main temporarily reh rahi hun, toh mere liye yahi accha hai ki mujhe kisi cheez se attachment na ho. Aapke wardrobe mein aapki uss jeevan saathi ke liye jagah zaroor banana, jiske saath aap apni poori zindagi bitaana chaahe."
She walked around him & entered the washroom with a heavy heart. It wasn't even three days to their wedding & she was already getting attached to everything in this room, especially her husband. She let her tears flow this time & sobbed covering her mouth. What was going to happen if she stayed around him for the whole year??? Despite his rude behavior & his impolite taunts, she was falling for her husband which she couldn't afford right now. She had to maintain some distance between them. Even if she tried that, destiny was drawing them close all the time.
What was up with him? Last night, he wasn't happy with her job & now, the way he was treating her was polar opposite behavior. The closeness & the proximity they shared from the last few days was weakening her resolve to stay away from him. She finished her morning chores in the next half an hour & walked out to see Sameer fidgeting with the tie. He wasn't able to tie the knot properly.
While she was getting ready for the day, she kept glancing at him who was getting furious minute by minute when he wasn't successful with the tie. Once she was ready, she walked to him hesitantly & took the tie away from his hand. "Main kar deti hun.", her soft reply made Sameer stand at his place.
She tiptoed a little & put the tie around his neck. She slowly managed to tie the knot properly & then wound it around his shirt's collar. All the while, Sameer's gaze didn't move away from her. Naina had felt his intense gaze but she kept the butterflies in her stomach under control & concentrated on the important task of tie.
Once done, she moved away instantly. Though this time, Sameer hadn't pulled her in his arms or anything, still the proximity affected her. She immediately left downstairs for preparing the breakfast while Sameer stood rooted to his place with a devilish grin plastered on his face. He knew to wear the tie but wanted to see if his dear wife would help him. And she did. He ruffled his own hair in elation & moved downstairs to join Nanu.
While Naina was making breakfast with Ramdhari, Nanu sat at the dining table & slid a file towards Sameer. He took it calmly & read all the contents. His eyes bulged out after reading the whole document. He looked at Nanu, "Yeh sab kya hai Nanu? I hope aap jo bhi kar rahe hai wohh soch samajkar kar rahe hai?" Nanu smiled in response & said, "Yeh toh maine kab ke banaaye the aur Naina bhi iss baare mein jaanti hai. Jab maine usse kahaa ki main meri property ko tum dono mein barabar se baatunga toh usne saaf saaf manaa kar diya tha. Usne kahaa tha ki usse kuch nahi chahiye. Jo chahiye tha wohh toh usse maine already de diya tha, mera pyaar. Ab jab Naina ko inn sab mein interest nahi hai toh maine socha yeh documents tumhe hi de deta hun. Tumhe jo thik lage wohh karna."
Sameer sat there speechless for the next few minutes & Nanu went back to his newspaper to give his grandson some time to dwell into this. Sameer's mind spoke, "Naina ne itna bada offer thukra diya. Kyun? Usne iss property ke liye hi toh mujhse shaadi ki thi na?" His heart replied instantly, "Really??? Iske baad bhi tumhe lagta hai ki usne tujhse shaadi tere paison ke liye ki thi? Wohh bechaari uss chote se café mein job kar rahi hai taaki khud ke kharcha khud manage kar sake, tum pe yaa Nanu pe paison ke liye dependent nahi rehna chaahti. Aur ab bhi tujhe lagta hai ki Naina ne tujhse shaadi paison ke liye ki? Paagal ho gaya hai tu Sameer. Sab teri aankhon ke saamne hai fir bhi tujhe kuch dekhna nahi hai, maanna nahi hai."
Taking a deep breath, he asked Nanu, "Aapne... aapne yeh papers kab banvaaye the Nanu?" He thought for a while & answered, "Ummmm... Naina ko iss ghar mein aaye sirf ek hafta hi hua tha." His heart again reprimanded him, "Dekha... Wohhh mili bhi nahi thi tujhse aur usne itni badi property ko thukra diya tha. Aaya bada gold-digger hai yeh ladki kehne waala." "Kya... kya aapne uski fees bhari hai MBA ke liye Nanu?", this question had been running in his mind since a long time. Nanu held his gaze for a minute & replied, "Naina ko full scholarship mili hai. Maine koi fees nahi pay ki hai Sameer. Yeh sab toh bas uss bacchi ki mehnat ka natijaa hai."
Nanu knew what Sameer was thinking about Naina. It was time that he come to know about some facts, especially where finances were involved. When Nanu had come to know that his grandson thought so low about Naina, his heart pained. But he also knew Sameer's past which was the main reason that he never trusted anyone. Last evening when they had returned together, he was ecstatic. When he heard his anger filled voice about Naina's job, he knew he had to intervene this time before his grandson would form his wrong opinion about his wife again.
So, he brought up this topic deliberately to let his grandson know the true Naina. Even in the morning, he had purposely knocked on their door. As far as he saw both of them, he knew that they didn't sleep on the same bed. When Sameer had taken good five minutes to open the door, he understood that they were clearing the coast for his view. He never wanted to interfere but his grandson was stubborn & to let him see clearly, he showed him exactly what would change his mind & heart towards his wife. Now, Nanu looked at his grandson who was totally lost in his thoughts while he smiled in relief after accomplishing his task.
It was after ten minutes that Naina carried a tray with two cups, one filled rwith coffee for Sameer & the other one of tea for Nanu. She placed them in front of them. It was at that moment that Sameer's thoughts broke & he looked at Naina after the aroma of coffee hit his nostrils. As usual, he groaned in pleasure after taking the first sip while Naina just blushed a little & walked back to the kitchen to fetch the breakfast of poori bhaji.
All the three enjoyed the meal while Nanu felt the change in the demeanor of his grandson. Sameer kept stealing glances of Naina while she continued her breakfast without looking around. Nanu was happy with the change though. Once they were done with the meal, Nanu sat down in the living room while Sameer went back to his room to bring his bag & then waited for Naina next to Nanu.
When she came out of the kitchen, she saw him waiting holding his bag. He looked up at her & gestured her to come ahead. She complied & walked to him while Nanu looked at them with amusement. "Naina..." He took a step closer to her, "Wohhh... wohhh... main yeh kehna chaah raha tha ki..." He glanced at Nanu once & took a deep breath, "Mujhe tumhare café mein kaam karne se koi problem nahi hai Naina. Bas khud ko over stress mat karna. It can be hectic sometimes."
Sameer again took a step ahead & kissed her forehead, "Have a good day & take care." With that, he turned around & walked ahead. He greeted his Nanu without turning back, "Bye Nanu... Shaam ko milenge." And he was gone leaving a stunned Naina & an amused Nanu behind. After a very long time, Nanu heard Sameer whistling while leaving for office. He was more than happy. When he turned to Naina, he saw her still standing at the same place, her gaze still fixed on the door from where Sameer had left five minutes ago.
Nanu kept his hand on her shoulder, "Naina... Kahaan kho gayi???" She came out of her shock & blinked few times to calm herself. Did Sameer really allow her to work in the café? And did he really kiss her in front of Nanaji? She was stunned to silence with his actions. Nanu could read the changing expressions on her face easily. He just patted her head & asked her to go to her room & study.
Naina just nodded & walked back upstairs in a trance. She couldn't concentrate on anything. She just kept flipping the pages of her book mindlessly which she had held upside down. After wasting half an hour, she just closed the book & laid back on the bed. This was the first time that she was lying on his bed. Yess... She was in her new room & was lying on his bed to be precise.
His fragrance still lingered in the pillow that she had kept on her lap to keep her book on it. She inhaled his fragrance yet again which calmed down her nerves. What was happening to her? Why was she behaving like that? He had only told her that he didn't have any problem with her working in the café & then he had kissed her softly on her forehead bidding her goodbye. So, why was that affecting her so much?
She sat on the bed for a long time & then drifted to sleep holding the pillow to her chest. It was the constant knocks on the door that broke her sweet slumber & she woke up. As always Ramdhari bhaiya had come to call her for lunch. She didn't eat much & then left towards the café. Once in the café, she forgot about Sameer & got busy with her work as the café was crowded. Kabir too visited the café in the evening.
That day after locking up the café, Preeti asked her, "Naina... Hum aaj mall jaa rahe hai aur Maheshwari Mansion hamare raaste mein hi hai, toh kya hum tujhe ghar drop kar de?" She didn't know what to reply. She was in a dilemma now, if they came home, then they would know that she & Sameer are married which she can't disclose. How could she refuse her, she was her best friend?
Before she could deny the offer, a car stopped right in front of them & Sameer came out. Naina stood surprised to see him there & was relieved too. He came around & greeted Preeti & Kabir. He looked at Naina & asked, "Chalein???" She managed to nod slightly & followed him to his car after bidding her goodbyes to Preeti & Kabir who looked uncertain after seeing Sameer who had come to pick up Naina.
Kabir turned to Preeti, "Ummm... Preeti... Sameer Naina ko pick karne kyun aaya tha? Pehle toh nahi hua yeh? Aur Sameer usse itna importance kyun de raha hai? Aur Naina... wohh bhi uske saath chupchaap chali bhi jaati hai. Preeti... Tu zara pataa laga kya baat hai? Mujhe kuch gadbad lag rahi hai. Main jahaan tak Sameer ko jaanta hun, wohh aisa ladka nahi hai jo kisi bhi ladki ko itna importance de, jaise wohh Naina ko de raha hai."
Preeti could feel the jealousy & possessiveness of her brother towards Naina. But she remained quiet as she herself was confused with what she saw today. The way Sameer had asked her to go with him wasn't a question, it was like he had a right to do so. Something was definitely going on & she needed to find out soon, especially for her brother.
The drive was silent till the car entered the Maheshwari Mansion. Before naina could move out of the car, Sameer spoke, "Naina... Wohhh... main... ummm... main aaj se roz tumhe café lene aaunga." Saying that, he opened the door & moved out. Naina remained seated for a while shocked with his declaration. He knocked on the window & gestured, "Baahar aao..." She came out of the car & they walked back together in their house.
Nanu was ecstatic after seeing them together again. His intervention had played a major role to turn the tables around swiftly. He mentally patted his back & smiled at his favorite people, "Aao bacchon... Aisa karo, pehle fresh hokar aa jao fir saath mein chai nashta karte hai." They headed upstairs to their room. Inside their room, Sameer got a call from one of his important clients & he got busy while Naina went to freshen up.
After freshening up, she saw Sameer still busy on the call. So, she tapped his shoulder & gestured to come down soon. He blinked his eyes & she left to make his favorite coffee. They enjoyed their evening time with the coffees & snacks. Nanu & Sameer discussed some details about the recent projects while Naina was about to get up to make preparations for dinner.
Sameer glanced at her & asked Nanu, "Kya hum sab aaj baahar dinner ke liye jaa sakte hai? Main Munna Pandit ko bhi wahin bula leta hun. Waise bhi do din baad Naina college join kar legi, fir busy ho jaayegi apni padhai mein. Ummmm... Toh hum chale aaj baahar???" Naina was staring at her hot husband with open mouth as she hadn't expected him to ask that so casually.
Nanu looked at both & replied, "Ab mujhe kya problem hoga bhala. Waise bhi kaafi din ho gaye hai kahin baahar jaakar. Chalo chalte hai aur party karte hai." Sameer called out, "Ramdhari..." He came out running after hearing his bhaiyaji's loud voice, "Kya hua Sameer bhaiya?" Sameer smiled at him & said, "Aaj hum baahar jaa rahe hai dinner ke liye. Toh tujhe aaj chutti khana banane se. Jaa... tu bhi mazze kar." He handed over some money to him. Ramdhari left happily after wrapping up his work & decided to go for a movie.
Nanu looked at her, "Naina... jao tum thoda aaraam kar lo fir taiyaar hokar aath baje aa jaana." He turned to Sameer, "Tu bhi jaa. Aur yaad se Rahu-Ketu ko bhi bulaa lena." The couple left towards their room & Nanu's eyes brimmed with tears looking at the couple. He prayed silently to the Almighty for their togetherness.
Sameer called up Munna & Pandit & asked them to join directly at the restaurant. He got ready & headed downstairs to discuss some important things with Nanu while Naina was in the washroom, freshening up. When she came out, she saw a light pink dress that was kept on the bed. She picked up the dress & a small note fall down. Her hands shivered when she read the note,
"Isse pehen kar neeche aa jaana... I'm waiting..."
She wasn't sure if her heart could take any more surprises today. She touched the dress & her heart warmed up. Without thinking much, she changed into the dress which perfectly fitted her & she looked beautiful. She wanted to keep her hair open but then opposed her own idea & tied it up in a pony.
She glanced at the clock which showed that it was already five past eight. She rushed downstairs to find Nanaji & Sameer sitting in the living room waiting for her. Nanu smiled & walked ahead to the car while Sameer took slow steps towards her. When he reached closer to her, he whispered, "Bohot acchi lag rahi ho... Pink really suits you."
Their gazes collided & they were lost. It was Nanu's loud cough that broke their trance & they hurried towards the door while Nanu kept chuckling seeing their flushed faces. Nanu sat at the backseat as he knew Sameer would drive today leaving the passenger seat for Naina.
They drove towards the mall where a new restaurant was opened. They met Munna Pandit at the entrance & headed inside the restaurant. Sameer had already reserved a table for them. They settled down & were going through the menu when someone called, "Naina..."

CHAPTER 10
"Naina...", she froze hearing Preeti's voice from behind. She looked up at Sameer who wasn't much shocked with the interference. He got up & waved at Preeti & Kabir who were standing right behind Naina, "Arey Kabir... Preeti... Tum dono yahaan kya kar rahe ho?"
Naina hadn't turned yet to greet them while every pair of eyes on the table were fixed on the siblings. "Hum toh bas thodi shopping karne aaye the. Preeti ko kuch saamaan lena tha college ke liye. Do din baad college jo shuru ho rahi hai.", Kabir replied watching his sister. "Arey yeh toh acchi baat hai. Main yahaan Nanu, Munna-Pandit aur Naina ke saath dinner ke liye aaya hun. Come, join us..."
Naina's throat had gone dry when she heard Sameer inviting Preeti & Kabir to join them which resulted in her coughing fit. Sameer who was standing near her chair, turned & started rubbing her back while Nanu offered her a glass of water. Naina stiffened with his sudden touch but somehow controlled her racing heartbeats.
Preeti & Kabir saw the whole scene running in front of their eyes intently. Preeti leaned near her & asked in concern, "Tum thik ho Naina???" Finally, she turned & met their worried gazes, "Main ab thik hun... wohhh... wohhh... pata nahi achanak se khaasi kaise aa gayi.", she stuttered without meeting anyone's gaze.
Sameer looked at her amused. What was up with her now? He asked again, "Kabir... Preeti... Join us for dinner?" The siblings agreed when even Munna, Pandit & Nanu insisted them to join. Sameer asked the waiter to add two more chairs to their table. Preeti & Kabir settled between Nanu & Pandit while Naina & Sameer were sitting right opposite them.
Preeti glanced at her brother as she knew that he won't like the current sitting arrangement. Once the orders were placed, the conversation started. "Nanu... yeh hai Kabir Sehgal, hum ek saath college mein padhte the aur yeh hai uski behen Preeti Sehgal." He turned a bit looking at her wife, "Naina inhi ke café mein kaam karti hai."
Nanu looked at Preeti, "Toh wohhh tum ho? Jisse meri bacchi itna ghul mil gayi hai." Preeti nodded, "Haa Nanaji... Main aur Naina ab bohot acche dost bann gaye hai. Naina ke aane ke baad, café mein time kahaan nikal jaata hai pataa hi nahi chalta ab." Nanu caressed her head lovingly, "Jab bhi mann kare tab ghar aa jaaya karna Naina ke saath, mujhe accha lagega." Preeti's eyes teared up feeling a parental care & she nodded.
Everyone saw the scene with misty eyes & smiled in content seeing Nanu getting affectionate towards Preeti. Munna & Pandit kept their banters on which led to lots of laughter around the table. Till now, Naina was happy that no one had sputtered anything about her relation with Sameer.
Though Sameer seemed unfazed with all this. Naina was eating quietly when Preeti asked, "Naina... Tu kabse itni chup kyun hai? Café mein toh itni baatein karti hai toh ab kya hua?" The sudden question pointed towards her made her shift uncomfortably & by mistake the ladle she was holding to serve herself some palak paneer fell on her dress.
She immediately stood up & rushed towards the washroom to clean the dress. Preeti followed her & stood behind her while Naina kept cleaning her dress with the water. Once the stain was gone, she heaved a sigh of relief, "Thank God... Yeh daag nikal gaya."
Preeti who was quietly standing finally spoke up, "Itna important hai yeh dress tere liye Naina ki tu aise daud ke yahaan aa aayi? Agar kahin gir jaati toh, tujhe kahin lag jaati toh?" She looked up at her friend's worried reflection in the mirror & replied, "Mujhe kuch nahi hota. Aur haaaan yeh dress mere liye both important hai. Aaj hi toh Sameer ne yeh dress di thi aur usse aaj hi kharaab kaise ho jaane deti?"
Naina bit her tongue when she realized what she had spoken aloud. Preeti though hadn't expected this reply, wasn't much shocked as she was trying to make Naina share her feelings with her. She turned her around & asked, "Accha... Toh dress isliye important hai kyunki Sameer ne tujhe yeh di hai?" Naina didn't know what to answer so she remained silent & Preeti got her answer, "Chal... Sab hamara wait kar rahe honge. Sochenge itna time kyun lag raha hai hume washroom mein."
Without a word, they left the washroom & returned to the table. Kabir's gaze was fixed on Naina while Sameer was staring at Kabir. Feeling desperate to show who he was to Naina & what right he had on her, he shifted his chair close to her & touched her arm, "Tum thik ho???" The touch seemed soothing for both as their eyes stayed glued to each other.
Nanu's loud cough broke their small eye lock & she replied, "Main thik hun." Kabir who was watching everything looked stunned with whatever he saw till now. To keep his jealousy at bay, Kabir diverted his attention, "Nanaji... Aap toh hamare baare mein sab jaante hai, aap hamare parents ko bhi jaante the. Mujhe yaad hai main papa ke saath aapke ghar aata tha." Nanu remembered those days & smiled looking at him, "Haannn... Kabir... Mujhe sab yaad hai. Tumhare papa bohot acche insaan the. Aur aaj mujhe tum par bohot garv hai beta, jis tarah tum apne papa ki company ek naye mukaam tak le jaa rahe ho, yeh toh taarif ke kaabil hai. Shaabaash beta, hamesha aise hi zindagi mein aage badhte rehna."
Nanu gently caressed Preeti's head, "Kabir... Main chaahta hun ki tum dono har ravivaar mere ghar dinner par aao. Mera bas chalta toh main tum dono ko mere saath hi rehne bulaa leta par jaanta hun ki tumhe yeh accha nahi lagega. Isliye mujhe promise karo ki tum dono har ravivaar hamare yahaan dinner ke liye aaoge."
Preeti looked at her brother with misty eyes & he relented, "Thik hai Nanaji... Hum har Sunday dinner ke liye aayenge aapke ghar." "Aap hume bhool gaye Nanu...", Pandit whined while Munna also added, "Haannn... Ab hamara koi nahi yahaan Ponga... Chal ghar jaate hai.", he said wiping his fake tears.
Naina & Sameer rolled their eyes while Kabir & Preeti chuckled watching their antics. Nanu squinted his eyes at them, "Oyee... Rahu-Ketu... Yeh nautanki band karo. Aaye bade, hamara yahaan koi nahi waale. Ghar chalo aise kaan khinchunga na tum dono ke ki saari akkal thikaane aa jaayegi acche se."
Everyone laughed out loudly while Munna & Pandit pouted & made sad faces. "Acchaaa baba... Ab aisi gandi si shakalein mat banao. Tum dono bhi aa jaana har ravivaar ko." While Nanu invited Kabir & Preeti every Sunday at their home for dinner, Naina sat there dumbstruck with the turn of events. She was sure that some or the other day they would come to know that she was Sameer's wife. Her heart sank further as she knew this was inevitable.
She glanced at Sameer who was chatting with Munna & Pandit. Her eyes moved towards Nanu who was discussing something with Preeti & then her gaze shifted to Kabir who was already staring at her with a smile. She shifted uncomfortably & shifted her gaze to Sameer who by now was looking at her. "Tum desert mein kya khaana pasand karogi Naina?"
She forgot all her surroundings when she heard his husky voice asking her for her preferences, "Aap... aap jo chahiye wohh mangaa lijiye. Main kha lungi." Sameer asked the others too & then ordered rasmalai for all. Everyone was happily devouring the desert when Kabir shared some pranks they had pulled during their college days, Sameer too joined him adding some more stories.
Nanu was happy to see the kids laughing & sharing their college fun. "Nanaji... Aapko pataa hai, college mein Sameer ke peeche itni ladkiyaan padi thi ki poocho mat. Par yeh mahashay toh kisiko bhaav hi nahi dete the.
While Kabir kept talking about the stunts some girls pulled to attract Sameer's attention, Naina cursed each & every girl in her mind all the while.
Unknown to her, four pair of eyes noticed her expressions keenly. Nanu laughed out hearing everything & said, "Sameer hamesha se hi ladkiyon se durr raha hai. Mujhe lagaa tha ki shaayad uski college mein girlfriend bhi hogi, par khair mera naati mujhpar hi gaya hai. Uske liye bhagwaan ne ek hi ladki banaayi hai aur wohh usse mil gayi."
Naina's heart already stopped beating when she heard the conversation turning towards their marriage. "Arey waaahhhh... Sameer tumhe ladki mil gayi??? Kaun hai? Kahaan hai? Kya main usse jaanta hun?", Kabir asked curiously. Before anyone could answer, the bowl of dessert fell down from Naina's hand, the loud noise vibrating in the whole restaurant.
The waiter who was serving dinner on the nearby table rushed towards her & immediately picked up the bowl & called someone to clear it. Naina softly apologized, "I'm sorry... pataa nahi kaise mere haath se wohh bowl gir gaya." "Arey Naina... Tum sorry kyun bol rahi ho. Hota hai.", Nanu caressed her head. The topic of Sameer's girl already forgotten; Sameer settled the bill against Kabir's insistence on splitting the bill.
"Kya yaar Kabir... Fir kabhi tu pay kar dena. Aaj party hamari taraf se thi, next time tu de dena.", Sameer patted his back. Kabir asked hesitantly, "Kaisi party???" "Wohhh... Sameer aur Naina ki...", Naina cut Munna's sentence midway, "Arey Munna... Tumhe Nanaji bula rahe hai."
Munna rushed outside towards the parking lot where Pandit, Preeti & Nanaji were waiting for the others. Naina fidgeted with her dress & looked up at her dashing husband, "Hume chalna chahiye, Nanaji ki davaai ka waqt ho gaya hai." Sameer looked at Kabir, "Naina thik keh rahi hai, hume chalna chahiye ab, late bhi ho gaya hai."
All the three walked towards the parking lot & settled in their cars, heading towards their homes. Naina was silent throughout the ride which was noticed by Nanu as well as Sameer. But no one conversed & they reached home in the next fifteen minutes. Once in the house, Naina hurried towards Nanu's room & brought his medicines. Nanu bid goodnight to the couple & retired to his room.
Sameer too left upstairs while Naina locked the door & picked up the jug of water for their room. When she entered, she knew he was freshening up so she silently collected her nightwear & waited for him to come out. After ten minutes, Sameer appeared & she hurried inside the washroom. Sameer was watching her nervousness since the dinner & now was curious to know the reason.
Once she was back, Sameer asked, "Tum aaj itna nervous kyun thi restaurant mein???" She was shocked that he even asked this. She turned & walked towards him, "Aapko sach mein samaj nahi aa raha yaa naa samajne ka naatak kar rahe hai?" She was losing her patience now.
Sameer stood confused, "Seedhe seedhe kaho baat kya hai Naina?" Taking a deep breath, she asked, "Aapko shaayad yaad nahi hai ki aapne mujhse ek agreement sign karvaaya tha, jisme saaf saaf likha tha ki hum baahar waalon ke saamne married nahi hai. Par aaj restaurant mein jo bhi ho raha tha , jo bhi baatein ho rahi thi, usse Preeti aur Kabir ko pataa chal hi jaata ki hum married hai. Fir kya karte aap? Agar unhe pataa chal jaata toh sabko pataa lagne mein jyada time nahi lagta. Aur aap toh mast aaraam se unse baatein kar rahe the. Nanu unke saamne hamari shaadi ki baat karne waale the yahaan tak ki Munna bhi wahi kehne wala tha, aur aap mujhse pooch rahe hai ki main nervous kyun thi?"
Before she could speak more, Sameer held her hands & pulled her, "Tumhe kis baat se farak padd raha hai Naina? Iss baat se ki unhe hamari shaadi ki baat pataa chal jaati yaa iss baat se ki tumhare aashiq ko tumhare shaadi ki sacchai pataa chal jaati?" Naina couldn't believe her ears. What was he trying to say?
"Aap... aap... kya kehna chahte hai?", she stuttered. He just pushed her away, controlling his rage. He had seen how Kabir was looking at her. He knew him enough & could clearly see what his friend was feeling for his wife. He wasn't blind. He had caught Kabir gazing at his wife lovingly few times in the restaurant. His blood had boiled but he had even seen that Naina wasn't giving him importance.
But now, when she said that she didn't want them to know about their marriage, he was unsure if what he saw in the restaurant was even true. Did even Naina feel the same for Kabir that she didn't want him to know about their marriage? His anger flared again with that thought & he glared at her, "Jao so jao... Mujhe kal jaldi uthna hai. Faltu ka time nahi hai mere paas tumse behes karne ke liye."
Within seconds, he switched off all the lights & laid down on his bed. The tears that Naina was controlling till now made its presence & she cried silently sleeping on the couch without the pillow & quilt. What was wrong with him? How can he behave like this & treat her in this way all the time? One moment he is extra caring, extra loving & the next moment he is just the opposite.
He was the one who had made those conditions. How come he himself is forgetting about it? What does he actually want was beyond Naina's understanding? She sobbed silently & drifted to sleep after few hours.
When the alarm buzzed in the morning, Sameer woke up with the sound. He got up reluctantly & his gaze landed on his wife who was sleeping on the couch. It was after a minute he realized that she was sleeping without a pillow & quilt. He mentally smacked himself & got up from his bed, striding towards the couch. He felt guilty watching her sleeping in an uncomfortable position.
He turned & brought his own quilt, spreading it over her. She was feeling cold due to the air conditioning. The moment she felt the quilt over her, she pulled it tightly & wrapped around herself cozily feeling his warmth. Sameer stood there for a while watching her, he saw her dried tear-stained face. His heart ached again but keeping that pain away, he walked towards the washroom to shower & start his day.
He was getting ready for the day & kept glancing at his wife from time to time but she didn't move & continued sleeping. He collected his bag & went downstairs to join Nanu for breakfast. Nanu kept looking around for Naina while Sameer quietly continued with his tasteless coffee & breakfast.
"Sameer... Naina kahaan hai?", Nanu asked finally. Without glancing at his grandfather, he replied, "Wohhh... ab tak so rahi hai. Maine bhi uthaaya nahi. Shaayad thak gayi hogi. Uth jaayegi thode time mein." Finishing his breakfast, he got up, "Meri aaj bohot important meetings hai toh main jaldi office jaa raha hun, shaayad shaam ko aane mein bhi late ho jaaye. Toh aap mera wait mat karna dinner ke liye." Before Nanu could ask or say anything, he picked up his bag & left.
Nanu wasn't sure what had happened between the couple but he definitely could see that his grandson wasn't in a good mood today. Even Naina hadn't come downstairs till now, this surprised him more. Without wasting more time, he went upstairs & knocked twice but there was no reply. He opened the door & was shocked to see Naina still sleeping. What shocked him the most was that she was sleeping on the couch. He walked towards her & peered at her. He could clearly see that she had cried before sleeping, the dried tear-stained face was very much visible to him.
He softly called out, "Naina... Naina... Beti utho... Dekho subah ke aath baj gaye hai." She steered in her sleep & then got up with a jerk realizing that Nanaji was waking her up. Her eyes opened wide enough & she stuttered, "Wohhh... Nanaji... main... wohhh... pataa nahi kyun itni neend aa gayi ki uth hi nahi paayi. Alarm bhi kab bajaa pataa hi nahi chalaa. I'm sorry Nanaji... Aage se time par uth jaaungi."
Nanu kept looking at her with misty eyes & caressed her head, "Naina... Sorry kyun bol rahi ho? Aaj itne dinon mein pehli baar tum late uthi ho. Accha hai tumhe thoda aaram bhi mil gaya hoga. Waise bhi parso se college shuru ho jaayega toh roz subah jaldi hi uthna padega." She nodded lowering her head & Nanu asked, "Tum yahaan couch pe kyun so rahi ho?"
Naina looked up instantly & stuttered yet again "Wohhh... wohhh... Sameer ne mujhe uthaaya tha par main shaayad neend mein uthkar yaahan aakar so gayi." She lied openly without meeting his gaze. Nanu knew that she wasn't sleeping on bed with Sameer. He knew both of them enough to know what was going on between them, but he stayed quiet & accepted her lie.
"Thik hai... Chalo ab jaldi fresh hokar neeche aa jaana." He left with a heavy heart. What had gone wrong last night? He couldn't understand. They behaved so nicely during the dinner, it looked like they've already accepted the marriage & were moving ahead. But now he was skeptical. He wanted to find out but how? He couldn't ask any of them as they would only lie.
Once Naina was ready & done with her breakfast, she got back to her old room & opened her diary...
"Hiii Diary...
Hum kitne din baad mil rahe hai na? Kya karun? Mujhe aajkal time hi nahi milta. Shaadi hone ke baad se toh aur bhi jyada busy ho gayi hun. Aur fir café mein kaam karna bhi shuru kar diya hai maine. Mujhe jyada salary toh nahi milegi par abhi ke liye chalega. Aage kuch aur job bhi dhoondni padegi. Itni salary mein main kya savings karungi, isme se mujhe abhi mere liye thoda saaman bhi lena hai.
Nanaji... Agar aap hote toh mujhe naye naye dresses laa dete college join karne ki khushi mein. Par ab mujhe apne liye wohh sab karna padega. Aur jitna kamaa rahi hun usme yeh sab nahi kharid paaungi apne liye. Khair... jaane do...
Diary... Main Sameer ka behavior samaj hi nahi paa rahi. Ek pal achanak se itna khayaal rakhte aur dusre pal ekdum gussa ho jaate hai. Unhe lagta hai ki main unke paison ke liye laalchi hun, unse unke paison ke liye shaadi ki hai.
Main kaise samjhaun unko ki maine unse shaadi sirf hamare Nanaji ki vaade ke liye ki hai. Mujhe Nanaji ne jo bhi mehengi saari aur gehne diye the, wohh maine Sameer ko shaadi waale din hi waapis kar di thi, kyunki main aur koi ilzaam nahi seh paati.
Kal raat main itni khush thi ki hum sab dinner ke liye ek saath baahar gaye the. Jab maine Preeti aur Kabir ko waahan dekha toh mera dil sach mein baith gaya tha. Sameer nahi chaahte ki hamari shaadi ke baare mein kisi baaharwaale ko pataa chale, par kal unhe koi farak hi nahi pad raha tha, ulta khud itna kareeb baithe the mere.
Sach kahun Diary... mujhe unka mera paas aana accha lagta hai par main yeh bhi jaanti hun ki mujhe unse dur rehna hoga. Jab bhi Sameer mere kareeb aate hai toh mere dil ki dhadkan ekdum daudne lagti hai. Unki aankhen kuch kehti hai aur unki zubaan kuch aur. Mujhe kuch samaj hi nahi aa raha.
Maine kal raat unko sirf unka hi banaaya hua agreement yaad dilaaya, usme itna gussa kyun ho gaye? Aur kisi aashiq ki baat kar rahe the. Ek minute... Kahin unhe yeh toh nahi lagta ki Kabir mera aashiq hai?
Haannn... yahi lagaa hoga Sameer ko, isliye itna gussa bhi ho gaye. Par usme itna gussa honewaali kya baat hai?
Diary... Mujhe na wohh Kabir bilkul accha nahi lagta. Jab dekho tab mujhe ghoorta rehta hai. Main sirf Preeti ki wajah se chup hun warna ab tak toh maine usse maar hi dena tha. Shaayad Sameer ne bhi unhe mujhe dekhte hue dekh liya hoga, isliye gussa huye honge.
Lekin fir bhi mujhpar kyun gussa hona, main thodi unhe ghoor rahi thi. Waise bhi mera dhyaan sirf mere hi pati par tha. Sameer kyun nahi samajte ki main unki jagah kisi ko nahi de sakti mere zindagi mein. Wohhh mere pati hai aur hamesha rahenge, hamara divorce hone ke baad bhi.
Sameer... Kaash aap mujhe samaj paate. Kaash aapne mere haalat samjhe hote... Kaash aapne mujhe galat na samjha hota, toh aaj hum sach mein pati patni hote, kisi bhi agreement ki zarurat na padti hamare beech.
Mere yeh kaash kabhi poore nahi honge. Ek saal baad mujhe unse alag bhi hona hai, iss ghar se hamesha ke liye bhi jaana hai aur kisi se koi rishta nahi rakhna hai.
Bas jaisa maine socha hai waisa hi main kar paaun.
Parso se college shuru ho jaayega toh mujhe jyada time nahi milega tumse baatein karne ko diary...
Par aisa mat samajna ki main tumhe bhool jaaungi. Jab bhi college, café aur padhai mein se fursat mil jaayegi toh main tumse baat karne aa jaungi, aakhir tum hi toh ho jisse main sab kuch baant sakti hun.
Chalo ab main chalti hun, thoda padhai kar lun fir café bhi toh jaana hai.
Byee... Jaldi milenge..."
She closed her diary & kept it safely in the drawer. Once she was done with her lunch she left for café. Preeti was already waiting for her when she entered, "Aa gayi Naina... Main kab se teri raah dekh rahi thi. Aaj jyada gardi bhi nahi hai. Aa baith..." Both of them sat on a vacant table, "Kal raat tum sab ke saath dinner karke bohot mazaa aaya. Kaafi time baad maine itna enjoy kiya Naina. Aksar main aur bhai hi jaate hai akele, par kal tum sabke saath bohot accha laga. Nanaji kitne acche hai."
Naina smiled fondly, "Haannnn... Nanaji bohot hi acche hai. Bohot pyaar karte hai sabse." Preeti asked hesitantly, "Naina... Tumhara Sameer ke baare mein kya khayaal hai? Kaisa lagta hai tumhe?" She sat there in stunned silence hearing Preeti's direct question. She stuttered, "Tum... tum... kya pooch rahi ho Preeti, tumhe pataa bhi hai?" Preeti smiled knowingly, "Haannn... Mujhe pataa hai main kya pooch rahi hun. Ab tu mere sawaal ka jawaab de. Tu uss ghar mein Nanaji aur Sameer ke saath rehti hai, toh bataa tera Sameer ke baare me khayaal hai? Kaisa lagta hai tujhe?"
Unable to frame any answer, Naina just raised her eyebrows, "Tu aise kyun pooch rahi hai Preeti? Kahin tujhe Sameer mein toh koi interest nahi hai na?" Preeti replied dreamily, "Koi paagal hi hoga jisko Sameer mein interest nahi hoga."
Their conversation came to a halt when a group of girls entered the café. Preeti got up to take their orders while Naina returned to her seat on the counter, her heart racing when she saw that dreamy look on Preeti's face. She couldn't believe that her best friend was falling for her husband. How could she tell her what she felt for Sameer? How could she tell her that she was Sameer's wife? Her heart was raging outrageously when someone tapped her shoulder & she came back to reality.
She saw Kabir smiling at her, "Naina... Kahaan kho gayi ho? Itna kya soch rahi thi ki tumhe meri aawaaz tak sunaayi nahi di?" She just looked around & saw Preeti serving coffees to the group at the far corner table. She moved her eyes to Kabir, "Kuch nahi. Aapko kuch kaam tha?"
He looked at her sharply at her tone, "Nahi... Main toh yunhi pooch raha tha." She turned away from him "Aap thodi der counter sambhaaliye tab tak main Preeti ki help kar deti hun." She didn't want to be around him after whatever she had heard from her husband yesterday night. She escaped to the kitchen & helped the cook in making sandwiches.
Preeti approached Kabir on the counter when he asked, "Tumne poocha Naina se ki uske aur Sameer ke beech kya rishta hai?" His sister glanced at Naina & replied, "Nahi... Time hi nahi mila." "Thik hai... Jab bhi mauka mile, jaanne ki koshish karna." She agreed & went away to take orders from the people who just arrived in her café.
Her mind drifted to her last night conversation with her brother.
FLASHBACK...
"Preeti... Main Sameer ko bohot saalon se jaanta hun. Jis tarah wohh Naina ko dekh raha tha, uska khayaal rakh raha tha, maine usse kabhi kisi ladki ke liye aisa karte huye nahi dekha. Aur Naina bhi bohot responsive thi uski taraf." Preeti replied, "Main toh Sameer ko nahi jaanti par maine bhi dekha kaise wohh dono ek dusre ki taraf dekh rahe the. Something was different between them."
"Haa... mujhe bhi aisa hi lagaa Preeti." She turned to his brother, "Bhai... Kya aap Naina se pyaar karte ho?" Keeping his focus on the road while driving, he replied, "Pyaar toh nahi keh sakta abhi. Par mujhe Naina pasand hai Preeti... Aaj restaurant mein maine jo bhi dekha usse mujhe lagta hai ki Naina Sameer ko pasand karti hai aur shaayad Sameer bhi. Kya tum mere liye pataa lagaa sakti ho ki unn dono ke beech kya chal raha hai?"
"Bhai... Main koshish karungi. Naina se poochungi ki wohh kya sochti hai Sameer ke baare mein. Jo aapne dekha wohhh maine bhi dekha, bas confirm karna hai ab. Aap bhi Sameer se baat karke dekho, usse bhi poocho ki wohh kya feel karta hai Naina ke baare mein." "Thik hai Preeti. Hum iss Sunday unke ghar dinner ke liye jaa hi rahe hai na, tab pooch lunga Sameer se..."
