It was six in the morning when ishita opened her eyes hearing the noise around herself. She look around and saw mihika running here and there.
She got up at once and said-miku,what happened,kanna??
Mihika look at her and said-akka ,hamare ghar mein ek chidiya ghus gayi hai.main usse bhaga rahin hoon.aye chidiya,bhaag mere ghar se.
Ishita -chodo kanna,woh bhaag jayegi.tum aao mere paas.she said opening her arms and mihika walked to her.
Ishita hugged her tight and said-tum itni jaldi kyun uthi??
Mihika-bola naa,iss chidiya ne utha diya. Gandi chidiya.she said making a baby pout making ishita smile .she kissed her temple and said-bas kuch din ka intezaar ,kanna. Main bahut jaldi tumhe thik kar dungi.she said caressing mihika's hair while she was just snuggling into her.
After long,ishita got up and said-chalo kanna,mujhe ready hona hai.phir kaam par jaana hai.she said and both went to complete their daily chores.
After an hour,ishita took out her scooty and make mihika sit behind her.she ride to mihika's mental school and took her inside.
Mihika went to her class while ishita walked to the office to pay the fees.
The clerk look at her and said-iss baar bhi late fee.
Ishita-i am trying,mujhe jaise hi koi achchi job mil jayegi,main time par fees submit kar diya karungi.
Clerk-ok,doctor madam ne kal mihika ko check kiya tha.
Ishita-really,kya kaha??
Clerk-mihika is improving.unhone kaha operation ke baad woh bilkul thik ho jayegi.
Ishita-thank u murugan for helping me,main bahut jaldi paison ka intezaam kar lungi.phir mihika ka operation karwa dungi .
Clerk just nodded and give her the receipt.
Ishita walked out and ride towards the hotel.
After an hour,she was in the hotel's restaurant serving food to the customers.
Yes,ishita iyer was waitress in five star hotel.she is an orphan who lost her parent when she was just fifteen .her only family was her younger sister mihika,who is mentally unstable since her birth.since then she was taking care of mihika along with collecting money for mihika's operation which can improve her mental condition.
Ishita was serving food and drinks in an informal meeting while a pair of eyes were on her.she was feeling awkward with his constant stare but was just maintaining a smile knowing well that creating a scene may cost her job.
After serving, she was going only to be cornered by a man.she was about to shout when the man closed her mouth and said-shh ,don't shout.
Ishita look at the person and said-yeh kya badtameezi hai??
He smirked and said-i like u ,bolo kitna logi ,mere saath ek raat guzarne ka.
Ishita glared him and said-let me go ,sir.u r drunk.
Man-no,I am not.main bahut dino se tumhe dekh raha hoon.i know everything about u.u r in acute need of money and I can provide u that.bolo kitne chahiye,just pleasure me tonight,beautiful.
Ishita pushed him and said-stay in ur limits ,sir.main kuch keh nahi rahin ,iska matlab yeh nahi that I am supporting ur advances. Aap please jaiye,u r drunk.she said and was walking out when he hold her hand again but she said-please sir,mujhe majboor mat kijiye scene create karne ke liye.aur main waisi ladki bilkul nahi hoon ,jaisa aap mujhe samajh rahen hai.haan kuch majbooriyan hai meri,but itni nahi ki khud ko bej doon.yes I need money but not on my dignity cost.issliye aap please mujhe dobara approach mat kijiyega.saying so she went while he smiled looking at her.
Ishita went to the washroom to compose herself.she has handled the situation well but was feeling angry the way he approached her.
She wiped her tears and said-agar naukari jaane ka darr nahi hota toh main uska muh tod deti.
After ten minutes,she went out and start serving the guests again.
She was going back to kitchen when her colleague told her that someone from that table called her .she thought he called her again and said-ab toh isse sabak seekhana hi padega.peeche hi pad gaya hai.thinking so she walked towards the table to give him a piece of mind ,but stopped seeing a old man sitting there.
She walked to him and said-yes sir,u called me??
Man-sit down.
Ishita-yahan aapke saath??
He nodded and ishita sit down silently .
Man-i saw what happened with you.
Ishita look at him and he said-i must say,u r a brave girl.the way u handled him is commendable.
Ishita-thank u sir.she said and both got silent.
Ishita look at him thinking what he want from her but he was silent.seeing him saying nothing,she asked-aur bhi kuch kehna tha yaa bas iss baat ke liye,she was saying when he said-i have job for u??
Ishita look at him and said-job??
Mr bhalla-yes,a job.caretaker ki job.
Ishita-caretaker??
Mr bhalla nodded and said-yes,and I will pay u twice the amount u r getting.
Ishita-kiski caretaker banna hai mujhe,aapke grandchildren ki??and why me??
Mr bhalla nodded in no and said-nahi,mere bete ki,Raman bhalla ki.
Ishita-raman bhalla.
Mr bhalla-yes.
Ishita-unhe koi problem hai kya??
Mr bhalla-he is a drunkard.
Ishita-drunkard??
Mr bhalla-yes,rehab mein the teen saal aur ab usne peena chod diya hai ,but still I want someone to take care of him.
Ishita-why me??
Mr bhalla-coz u r good at handling people,which I just saw.and secondly, u r honest.the way u said no to him,even when u need money,proves that character is greater then money for u,issliye main chahta hoon,ki tum mere bete ki caretaker bano.uska khayal rakho,aur usse drink karne se roko aur agar woh tumhari naa sune toh mujhe batao.in short,tumhe uska khayal bhi rakhna hai aur uss par nazar bhi.he said making her look at him.
Mr bhalla-ur pay will be double ,but never ever try to take advantage of him ,warna tumhe baahar phenkne mein mujhe waqt nahi lagega.
Ishita -mujhe manzur hai .
Mr bhalla-good,tomorrow at 8,in bhalla mansion.saying so he walked out leaving a happy but uncertain ishita behind.though she said yes as the pay is high but she was uncertain about her job profile.
