Raman was sitting on the floor patting Ishita softly while she was sleeping peacefully in his arms.
Raman look at their reflection and all he could remember was her words,dekh lijiyega ek din aisa aayega,Raman,jab main aapki baahon mein houngi aur aap sirf yeh pray karenge ki main aapse dur kabhi naa jaun.
And then his reply, aisa din kabhi nahi aayega.
Ishita-aayega,agar mera pyaar sachcha hai,toh woh din jarur aayega,jab aap mujhe pyaar se gale lagayenge and I will wait for that day.she said and smiled.
Raman remembered their conversation of the other day and said-see the day has finally come,jab tum meri baahon mein ho and I really don't want to get away from u.bas tumhare paas rehna chahta hoon,tumhe apne paas rakhna chahta hoon.i am really sorry,ishita.meri wajah se yeh sab hua,sirf meri zidd ki wajah se tumhari yeh haalat hai.i really don't know,how to say this.but I am really sorry.he said and pecked her temple while she snuggle more into him .
He got up slowly holding the table and took her to their bed.he made her sleep comfortably on the bed and caressed her face while she held his hand and slept keeping it under her hand.
He sat there for long just looking at her and then get up not able to look at her innocent face.
He walked out of the room and went down only to see his mother sitting on the table peeling peas murmuring something.
Toshiji-duniya apne bete ki shaadi karti hai,nayi bahu aati hai.saas ki help karti hai aur ek mujhe bahu mili hai ,pagal .mujhe hi saara kaam karna pad raha hai.meri hi kismat phuti thi,ki mujhe aisi bahu mili.she was saying when Raman sat next to her.
Raman-aap kyun kaam kar rahi hai,itne saare help hai.woh log kar denge.why r u bothering urself.
Toshiji-help kaam karenge naa,meri bahu toh nahi karegi.
Raman-aapko bahu kaam karne ke liye chahiye thi??
Toshiji look at him and said-u know it's not like this .I just want to know that who is she,kaun hai yeh ,aur tu kahan se isse utha laaya hai.tu apni shaadi chod kar chala gaya aur phir isse shaadi karke le aaya.at first I thought may be I was pressuring u and u loved her,but woh toh ek paagal hai.tu kisi paagal se shaadi kaise kar sakta hai,puttar.
Raman-woh paagal nahi thi,maa.she wasn't like that before.bahut hi achchi,samajhdaar aur pyari ladki thi,infact abhi bhi hai.its just she lost her mental balance after that accident.actually it's all because of me only.
Toshiji-kaisa accident,kaun hai woh,aur tu kaise zimmedaar hai inn sabka.its been three days since ur marriage with her,I was giving u time but not anymore .I want to know ki kaun hai woh.
Raman-she is ishita,maa.mere friend Karthik ki behan.
Toshiji-karthik ki behan??
Raman-yes,actually this all started six months ago.u remembered I went to his house for holi celebration.uss din hi iss kahani ki shiruwaat hui thi.he said and started telling toshiji everything.
Flashback
Raman hugged Karthik and said-so finally I am here.bola tha naa,London se wapas aate hi hum milenge.
Karthik-wapas aate hi,it's been an year ,since u came back.dost ko buddhu bana raha hai.
Raman-nahi yaar,I actually lost track of u.yeh toh achcha hua,we met after so long in the mall.kitna achcha lagta hai jab purane dost milte hai.
Karthik-yes,it's been four years to our masters.kitna maza karte the hum.
Raman-really,that time was really amazing.waise abhi kya chal raha hai.
Karthik-got married last year,papa banne wala hoon.
Raman-wow,congrats.
Karthik-aur tu bata,shaadi ki yaa nahi.
Raman-nahi yaar,maa toh peeche padi hai but abhi I am enjoying my freedom.koi ladki mili hi nahi joh ek nazar mein pasand aa jaaye.he was saying when he saw a girl running escaping from colours.she was wearing a white salwar kurta with coloured dupatta while her long hair was open .
Raman-yeh kaun hai??
Karthik-yeh,meri behan.yaad nahi ,choti si thi.shorts pehanti thi ,chasma lagati thi.wait,let me call her,he said and called her,ishu.
Ishita turned to them and then walked to them slowly.
Ishita-ji bhaiya.
Karthik-dekh Kaun aaya hai,pehchana??
Ishita look at him trying to identify him but couldn't so just nodded in no.
Karthik-arey,it's raman.tujhe yaad hai mere saath mba kiya tha.he was my batchmate,use to visit our house.
Raman-let it be,usse yaad nahi hoga .he said while ishita's cheek turned red hearing his masculine voice after ages.she was just looking at him while he too was looking at her smiling when Karthik went for some work.
Raman-u grown up much in just four years,don't look like the same old kid anymore.he said trying to start a convo while she was just smiling looking at him making him feel a bit awkward.
Raman-so Ishita,kya kar rahi ho??he asked but she didn't replied making him amused.
He asked again a bit louder breaking her trance and she went inside smiling without saying anything making him more confused .
Raman-crazy girl.he said and got busy in playing holi with his other friends gathered there.
Ishita ran into her room and closed the door.she went to her cupboard and took out a photo.a pic of her with Raman and Karthik.
She hugged it tight and said-finally aap aa hi gaye,I was waiting for u since long .aur aaj aap aa hi gaye.peechli baar bahut choti thi,issliye apne dil ki baat nahi bata saki,but iss baar jarur bataungi.will tell u loud and clear that I love u,I love u alot Raman Kumar bhalla.my ultimate crush and now my love forever.she said kissing his pic and smiling widely while her cheek was turning red again with blush remembering his gaze on her.
Ishita-shayad unhe bhi main achchi lagi,tabhi mujhe aise dekh rahen the.may be now we can fall in love with each other.she said and went to her balcony to check on him and saw all were playing holi.
Ishita-mujhe bhi khelni hai holi,Raman ke saath.apne Raman ke saath.she said and ran out keeping the picture back .
She went to the garden and saw everyone was enjoying .she look for him and went to her.
Raman-hi,so u r back.mujhe lagaa pehle ki tarah darr kar bhaag gayi.
Ishita-pehle bhi darr kar nahi bhaagti thi.
Raman-ok ,toh kyun bhaagti thi.he said to which she said-aapne holi kheli??
Raman-haan thodi si,I don't like playing holi much.
Ishita-but mujhe toh pasand hai,aapne mere saath toh kheli hi nahi.she said and rubbed a fist full of colour on his face.
Raman-ishita,yeh kya,he said and she ran smiling ,while he ran behind her with both his hand filled of colours .
She purposely ran towards the corner of the garden while he was just running behind her.
They reached in a corner which was almost secluded ,he hold her hand and applied the colour he was holding , on her face smiling while she hugged him tight making him shocked .
Raman-ishita,Ishita,what u r doing ??chodo mujhe,kya kar rahi ho??he was saying while she wasn't listening to him.she hugged him tight and said-dont go,let me hug u ,raman.i have waited for u so long .please let me feel u.she said making him stop in mid while she was just hugging him tight.
Seeing him all silent ,she cupped his face and said-i love u Raman,I really do.saying so she claimed his lips while his eyes got wide in shock hearing her.
