INTRODUCTION

"Rukmini Satyabhamabhyam Sahitam Krishnamaashrayae

The one who is flanked by Rukmini and Satyabhama on either side is Lord Krishna.

Satyabhama is a very misunderstood character in the story of Mahabharata. She is thought of as materialistic, arrogant, egotistic, rude, possessive, proud. But how can one, who is the wife of the Lord of the Universe, have negative qualities in her? How can she, who is a form of Mahalakshmi be thought of as such? Why would she hate Rukmini, when she and Rukmini are the same?

There are a lot of incidents in Krishna's life involving her, and all those situations are misinterpreted, according to me. People think she sold her husband, I think she didn't. People think Rukmini is the most devoted wife to Krishna, I think all eight Bharya were equally devoted to Krishna. People say only Rukmini is Mahalakshmi, I refute and say all eight are Mahalakshmi.

This book holds my opinion, and my thoughts, my feelings and my words about SatyabhaMadhava, Lord Krishna and Devi Satyabhama. Join me in this journey, and let us all learn, I from writing, and all of you from reading and discussing.
