"Agar Kuch de nahi sakta toh Chinne ka Haq kyun rakhta hain?"
These words which burst out of Sayuri today were the crux of the Kanha's character and his future change. Till date, he has been almost let easy on his actions. He is the ever lovable naughty Younger son of the family who thrived on pranks and fun.
Everything is fun and games for him.
Until it is not!!!
As it was shown... Hatred and jealousy were already a factor of Saroj's psyche. It all went out in a burst when faced with Kanha's injury and a little Sayuri's words which were true but as sharp as bitter arrows. Saroj crossed the boundaries with the perceived slight of a child and created a chaos birthing a gulf that is slowly starting to engulf and eat up her favourite son in the present.
Somewhere she considers it justice that her enemies had lost their earning member while they had gained wealth. She considers it balance. What she doesn't understand is that in wielding her supposed weapon of righteousness, she is ultimately killing her own child. Karma is a cyclic process. What she saw as win for herself with Balwant's death and their family's deteriorating situation is going to soon see a parallel with the death of her own eldest son.
Chiranjeev is the sacrifice in this Kurukshetra that Saroj has created. He is the Iravan who is to be sacrificed to demolish this Mahabharat she has birthed through the hatred in her mind.
And in this, Kanha is going to be the ultimate weapon. What started with Chiru's choice will end with Kanha taking up the mantle. Even in the precap Or today's episode, rarely does Chiru react. He hates what his mother does and voices it out. He is such a white character that he almost lacks agency at times.
Instead it is always Kanha who takes the first step. For good or bad, it is always Kanha who makes up his mind to do something. He is stubborn and focused like his mother when he wants something done and rarely cares about consequences. In a way he is a reflection of Saroj's determination and steadfastness, some of the few good qualities she has.
He knows what he did wrong and apologized publicly for it. Also in the precap, he is the one who approaches his mother and requests her to change her mind. Only after his stance does Chiru speak up. In the end he is left holding his broken brother. And in future too, he will be always left holding the pieces; be it of his family, of Sayuri and of himself.
And so as she said, "Agar Kuch de nahi sakta toh Chinne ka Haq kyun rakhta hain?" This is what he will prove. He will actually start giving back in a manner that will alter his entire character graph. He will give without taking anything, love with expecting anything. His family relationships as well those with his wife are going to create a lot of angst for him. Anyone in his place would have given up. But Kanha, whom every one terms selfish is going to be the one to give!
Hello all, I am Niki. Kinda waiting for Sayuri-Kanha to start, though I do like Chiru. Nice to meet all of you.
