In the evening all leave for the party leaving behind Jannat and Meher. As Jannat locks the door after they leave she quickly messages Naushad,
After sometime, the door bell rings.
"Main... main dekhti hun...!",
says Jannat, getting excited.
warns Meher, raising her voice to make herself audible to Jannat, who has already left for opening the door.
Jannat hastily opens the door and smiles broad on finding Naushad there. Naushad blushes on finding Jannat smiling broadly.
Suddenly a frown comes on her face. Naushad stares her, puzzled, why this sudden transformation?
asks Jannat, frowning.
asks Naushad, confused, and then looks towards himself.
He again looks back towards Jannat, confused, giving her all quizzical looks.
"Mujhe laga apke haathon mein gulab ke phoolon ka guldasta hoga! Par... yahan to...",
says Jannat, disappointed.
Naushad widens his eyes as the realization dawns upon him.
"Meher sahi kehti hai - aap such mein ek sadu aur akdu boss ho!",
declares Jannat, with no hesitation at all.
This skips Naushad's heartbeat.
"Arey koi aise jata hai kya kisi ladki se milne?",
asks Jannat, disappointed.
The voice skips Jannat's heartbeat!
Naushad stares Jannat, with a wide smile on his face. Jannat keeps staring him, wide eyed! Her heart throbbing inside her chest. Her face warming up gradually. Is she hallucinating? - she wonders! Naushad who understands her unuttered question, shakes his head into negative, indicating her that she is not!
Unable to say anything, Jannat stands transfixed at her place. Slowly Naushad shifts a little towards his left, never looking away from Jannat and surprises Jannat by revealing the bearer of the voice - Raghu!
exclaims Jannat.
Raghu smiles looking towards a blushed up Jannat.
Walking to her he says, teasingly,
"Sorry Jannat, main phool lana bhul gaya!"
This makes Jannat to blush and she feels shy for having said that earlier to Naushad.
Naushad enjoys witnessing their love!
Forgetting about Naushad's presence there, getting flowed away with their emotions, Jannat and Raghu were about to hug when Naushad clears his throat loudly, to remind them about his presence there, avoiding to look towards them out of awkwardness.
This skips Jannat's and Raghu's heartbeat. They blush profusely.
Looking towards Naushad, shyly, Jannat informs him,
"Badi apne room mein hai, yahan se left."
Smiling teasingly, Naushad bends down and melodramatically says,
This makes Jannat to blush all the more.
Laughing lovingly, as Naushad crosses by Jannat, he teases them,
Jannat and Raghu widen their eyes as it comes as a surprise for them, blushing profusely.
they say in union, looking towards Naushad.
Naushad looks back towards them laughing, blushing.
"Waise humse zyada to classes ki apko zarurat hai!",
teases Jannat.
Naushad raises his brows, lowering his eyes, accepts Jannat's words.
"You won't believe Jannat purey raste inhe yahi samjhate hue aya hun that he shouldn't be nervous of Meher!",
exclaims Raghu.
This shocks Jannat, smile wide she looks towards Naushad, wide eyed!
"Bhai kyun meri izzat ki dhajjiyan urha rahe ho? Bohot mushkil se Jannat ji ko pataya ke wo mujh par bharosa karein. Ab jab ek step agey barh kar Meher tak pohncha hun, tum fir peeche na kheecho, kahin inki ankhon se izzat gir gayi to firse inhe patana parhega!",
says Naushad, teasingly.
This makes Jannat to blush and Raghu to laugh.
"Arey dost ab hum hain na apke saath...",
says Raghu.
Then turning to look towards Jannat says,
"Hum sikha denge kaise pataya jaye inhe!",
and he keeps staring Jannat, lovingly.
Jannat blushes all the more and looks towards Raghu, widening her eyes she warns him playfully, not to tease her like that!
"Arey sambhal kar! Agar hum seekh gaye to kahin ye na ho ladki apko na mil kar humein mil jaye!",
winks Naushad, looking towards Raghu.
This skips Raghu's heartbeat. He widens his eyes out of surprise, his smile widens. Before he could say anything, Jannat possessively intervenes,
"Badey aye mujhe patane wale! Jisse patana chahiye usse to darr kar sau (100) kilometer durr khadey rehte hain aap!",
teases Jannat.
This skips Naushad's heartbeat and he blushes hesitantly. His blush makes Jannat and Raghu to laugh.
Looking towards them Naushad smiles. Suddenly his smile vanishes as he remembers something,
"Phoolon ka guldasta nahi laya na sahi, hum bhi Naushad Rizvi hain, adaa hai humari apni.",
saying so, Naushad throws attitude towards Jannat and Raghu.
This comes as a surprise for them. Smiling naughtily, they widen their eyes and look towards each other.
This makes Naushad to laugh secretly and he leaves for Meher's room.
Jannat and Raghu smile with all their hearts, looking towards a retreating Naushad.
"I hope Badi samjh paye ke Naushad uske liye kitne important hain. And wo Naushad ke liye kitni important hai!",
smiles Jannat.
says Raghu.
Then looking towards Jannat romantically, adds,
"Jaise hum samjh gaye ke hum ek dusre ke liye kitne important hain!"
Jannat looks towards Raghu and blushes. Getting closer to her, he captures her lips!
Naushad hesitantly, nervously, slowly pushes the door open of Meher's room. He is about to see her after such a long time. His heart throbbing inside his chest at the mere anticipation of how she must be right now?
As he opens the door and slowly lays his eyes on her, his heart skips a beat. How beautiful she looks while sleeping. Her rhythmic expansion and contraction of chest gives him a great feeling of relaxation. She is sleeping, she is relaxing. Her mind is not wandering around all the negative thoughts.
Smiling, hesitantly, Naushad walks towards her. His eyes turning dark; his stare towards her possessive. And why won't it be that way when he is meeting her after such a long time?
He remembers again that he hasn't brought any flower for her, not even one. But he doesn't feel sorry about it. Between them, such romantic gestures have never become things of great importance. But then when have they ever tried to show the romantic side of each other in front of each other?
He knows what's about to happen won't be a pleasant surprise for him. She is angry on him, period! The moment she'll realize his presence there, she is going to shout at him; might order him to get out her house as well. But he understands this too that how vulnerable she is right now. As much as she wants to stay away from him, she needs his presence too around her. He knows only he has the potential to get her out of this chaos, heal her.
He walks to her but doesn't disturb her sleep. He sits on the small table placed next to her bed.
"Naushad miya mera yakeen kijiye, wo aurat sarasar jhoot keh rahi hai. Farebi hai wo!",
says Irfaan.
Naushad turns to look towards Irfaan, glaring him.
"Farebi? Bhaijaan koi aurat bhari mehfil mein chilla kar itna bada ilzaam lagaye; apni izzat ki dhajjiyan udaye, kon karta hai aisa?",
asks Naushad, knitting his brows, raising his voice. His heartbeat picks up pace.
"Wo aurtein jin mein laaj-sharm na ho. Wo aurtein jo rakhail ho!",
says Shifrat, entering Naushad's room.
shouts Naushad.
"Bhaijaan aap mujh par kyun baras rahe hain? Aisa kya jadu kar diya hai usne aap par bhi ke aap bhi uske khilaf kuch nahi sunn sakte?",
asks Shifrat, glaring Naushad and Irfaan.
Irfaan lowers his eyes and stays quiet. Naushad looks towards Irfaan, all serious.
declares Irfaan.
Naushad's heartbeat picks up pace. How dare he say that?
"Bewafa? Apko bada pata hai ke kon bewafa hai aur kon wafadar? Apne dikhayi wafadari humare nikah ki?",
asks Shifrat to Irfan, knitting her brows.
"Mana ke maine wahan subke samne apka saath diya. Apko kuch nahi kaha. Par pak saaf to aap bhi nahi Irfan miyan!",
accuses Shifrat.
Naushad's heart skips a beat and he stares Irfan.
"Mujhe Meher par pura bharosa hai!",
says Naushad, his eyes lowered.
"To kya mujh par nahi hai?",
asks Irfaan.
"Naushad bhaijaan main aisa kyun karunga? Allah taala ne mujhe itni achi begum se nawaza hai, main kyun kisi aur ke paas jaunga?",
asks Irfaan.
Naushad glares him. Shifrat glares Irfaan too.
"Wohi to humein janna hai Irfan miyan. Akhir kya kami reh gayi mere mohobbat mein ke apne itni ghinoni harkat... chi...!",
says Shifrat, finding it disgusting.
Unable to take it anymore.
shouts Naushad, silencing both of them.
"Aap Aapi ke shauhar hain iss baat ka main lihaaz kar raha hun abhi tak. Aur such to ye hai ke mujhe Meher par pura bharosa hai. Main agar abhi kuch nahi keh raha to sirf isliye ke mere paas koi sabut nahi hai. Main iss mamle ko aur behtar tareeke se janna chahta hun. Iss baat par abhi bhi aitbaar kar raha hun ke shayad, shayad Meher ki baat jhooti sabit ho jaye. Par khuda kasam bhaijaan, jis din mujhe iss baat par yakeen ho gaya ke aap hi gunhegar hain, apko mujhse koi nahi bacha sakta!",
warns Naushad.
Then turning to look towards Shifrat, Naushad warns her too,
"Aur rahi baat Meher ki bewafai ki, to Aapi kahin aisa na ho dusro ke beech ki bewafai dhundhte dhundhte, apke apne rishtey hi bewafai se tabah ho jaye!"
Then looking towards Irfan, he adds,
"Ya shayad ho gaye hain!"
This does have it's affect on Irfan and Shifrat, alike. Sweat beads start collecting at the back of Irfan's neck.
Saying that whilst giving Irfan a warning look that says beware, Naushad leaves.
'Agar apko mere apke samne rehne se dikkat ho rahi hai to nahi aunga main apke samne.'
Naushad remembers saying this to Meher, yet he is here to meet her! He tried, he tried a lot to stay away from her, but he couldn't do it for long. Frustration enveloped him so badly that he got ill. He realized how important she is to him.
He couldn't realize when he started comparing Meher with his wife! Yes he was considering her bewafa just like his wife, may be that he is still considering her as bewafa, but he understands this too that despite her bewafai, he cannot stay away from her. He is ready to forgive her for her bewafai. But why this meherbaani Naushad? If she could be forgiven by you, then tomorrow if your ex-wife comes running to you and ask for your forgiveness, who knows, your heart might melt for her as well? Then where would Meher go?
Bewafa was your ex, years ago, after which you detached yourself from everyone barring a few, but today bewafa are turning you! Bewafa because 'trust' the main ingredient of a relationship to prosper, seems to have no meaning for you today.
You laid your trust on her and now giving it a second thought? What are you if not 'bewafa'? Why this dilemma? Why can't you stand with her in this time of crises? Why don't you understand that it wasn't a bewafai!
'Agar aap Meher ko ratti bhar bhi samjhte, to jante... ke wo itna ghinauna jhoot kabhi nahi bol sakti!'
That's true that Naushad is still in a dilemma. He still needs to be answered a lot of questions. Why didn't she talk to him? The phone call? She must be talking to Irfan that day! The realization sends shiver down his spine! He looks towards a sleeping Meher in horror! She could have told him that day itself, but she didn't. Why?
Who are you kidding Naushad? Didn't she try to make a conversation with you regarding this? But you and your so called ego stopped her even before she could muster the courage to tell you about it! Do you really think, had you shown interest in the matter and dealt with her with patience; heard her, she would have kept anything from you? NO SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT! And the irony is, you know it very well, yet this anger towards her, for god knows what reason?
In Bano and Amaal's room which is now a vacant room since Bano died and Amaal left, Jannat and Raghu enjoy their lone time.
At first as they entered the room they captured each others lips like hungry animals. It was fast and furious. Painful too, but this is how they like it pleasure and pain mingled together.
They hugged; they talked and enjoyed staring each other for long moments. Soon the urge of tasting each other yet again overpowered their thinking process and without wasting a moment more, they again started what they ended some moments ago.
With their diverted mind they entirely forget about Meher and Naushad's presence in the next room. But then what's the fun if their togetherness don't have the power to make them cease thinking about the world? They are living in their own paradise! And living in there, forgetting about the world, Jannat doesn't realize when she pushes Raghu against the door whilst showering him with kisses, as a result of which Raghu ends up banging the door, about which they cared less!
But someone out there cared a lot!
Meher jerks up awake on hearing the bang, her heartbeat throbbing.
but before she could shout, Naushad covers her mouth with his hand, widening his eyes, putting a finger on his lips, he gestures her to stay quiet.
His doing so makes Meher to hallucinate the moment when Irfan did the same to her! She starts hallucinating the moment and as a result gets an anxiety attack. She starts breathing heavy. She goes stiff! Her eyes go wide. She doesn't realize when her eyes brim up with tears.
Naushad didn't put much pressure on her mouth, yet she feels the same pressure exerted towards her which Irfan exerted.
Naushad gradually realizes that she is getting an anxiety attack. He knits his brows. Still not entirely removing his hand, he calls her out,
Meher who is drowning all the more into those moments when she was raped, starts shivering.
he calls her to him lovingly, although his brows creased out of tension yet his voice bears all his love for her. He lovingly rotates his hand - starting from her forehead to towards almost the end of her hair.
He knows she needs his faith; his love to return back from the place where she is visiting right now.
Meher slowly returns back to her senses. On finding Naushad in front of her, she couldn't control her feelings anymore and without giving him any warning or asking for his consent, Meher hugs him tight, and bursts into tears! Her hold on him is so tight that Naushad could realize how much his presence there is affecting her; soothing her!
She cries bitterly. Naushad's eyes too well up. How much they were craving to be with each other, their tight hold on each other; their welled up eyes, justify it very well.
Slowly as she relaxes, she realizes what she has done! She feels extremely shy and looses her hold on him. Naushad too gets out of his blissful moment as he realizes the loosening of her hold on to him. He too gradually leaves her, feeling a bit awkward just like Meher.
Slowly they look towards each other, hesitantly.
Naushad finds her crying still, silently. Naushad takes his hand to wipe off her tears, but before he could do that, Meher shrugs off his hand. This skips Naushad's heartbeat. He smiles a little and tries again. Meher again repeats her gesture.
"Kya kar rahe hain aap yahan?",
asks Meher, recovering gradually.
"Apni patient ko milne aya tha!",
saying so, she picks up the medicine given by him from the bed side and pulling his left hand forward, places it on his hand.
"Shukriya! Par mujhe apki dawayiyon ki koi zarurat nahi hai."
Naushad knits his brows, it hurts him.
Lowering his eyes, he says,
"Meri... meri dawayi ye?"
Naushad looks towards Meher, feeling offended on being addressed as Dr. Rizvi instead of Naushad by Meher.
"Mujhe apki dawayi ya apki sympathy ki koi zarurat nahi!",
she makes it clear, her face turned away towards her right, not looking towards him.
"Fir kis cheez ki zarurat hai? Bataiye, aap jo kahengi main la kar de dunga.",
says Naushad, honestly.
Meher turns to look towards him, still angry, she asks,
"Bewafa hun na main? To meri taraf ye wafadari kaisi?"
Smiling sadly, he says,
"Meher bewafai kya hoti hai ye main bhi janta hun aur aap bhi!"
Meher stares him, then slowly lowers her eyes.
Naushad looks towards her and says,
"Bewafa aap bhi hain; bewafa main bhi hun!"
This skips Meher's heartbeat. Why is he calling himself bewafa?
"Bewafa aap isliye nahi hain kyunki jo kuch bhi hua uss mein apki koi galti thi. Bewafa aap isliye hain kyunki apne mujhse Irfaan ke barey mein share karna munasib nahi samjha!",
Naushad makes her to understand.
Meher lowers her eyes and feels guilty.
"Meher mera apse Arwa ke barey mein kuch na bolne ke peeche pehle ye reason tha ke hum dost nahi the!",
he tells her.
Meher looks towards him, accepting his words.
"Baad mein jab baatein shuru hui, to apko maine bataya uske barey mein."
Meher accepts that too.
"Aur Meher ab jo humare beech dosti ho gayi hai, so you are free to ask me anything.",
says Naushad, confidently.
"But I am afraid ke agar main apse kuch puchunga bhi, to bhi aap mujhe kuch nahi batayengi!"
This skips Meher's heartbeat.
Naushad realizes that diverting her mind through this conversation has helped her to her over the anxiety attack. He feels glad, secretly.
"Aur apki nazron mein main bewafa isliye hun kyunki main apka saath nahi de raha. Apko samjh nahi pa raha!",
he declares.
Meher lowers her eyes.
"To I guess hum dono ek dusre ke nazar mein bewafa hain. Right?",
asks Naushad, smiling a little.
"Waise apko kaise pata chala ke ye meri di hui dawayi hain? Maine to hospital ke logo wala packet bhi nahi diya?",
asks Naushad, knitting his brows surprised.
Blushing, Meher says,
"Apne yahan prescription likha hua hai ke kab kis tarah se dawa leni hai."
asks Naushad.
"Apki handwriting se pata chala!",
confesses Meher, hesitating to look towards Naushad.
Naushad finds this very cute.
"Apko meri handwriting ka andaza hai?",
asks Naushad.
"Roz jo reports mein apke remarks aatey hain itne lambey lambey, apko lagta hai uske baad mujhe apki handwriting ka andaza nahi hoga?",
asks Meher, narrowing her eyes on him, playfully.
This makes Naushad to laugh out loud. Meher laughs too, silently.
Meher gets drowned into the sea of his laughter. But suddenly the remembrance of how their relationship has changed, jolts her back. It snatches away her laughter.
Her eyes on the verge of welling up. She looks away and says,
"Aap please yahan se chaley jaiye."
he tries to make her understand, not to do this to herself, to him, to them!
She ends up crying.
"Naushad please... mat kariye aisa...!",
she pleads.
Softening his eyes, he asks her politely,
"Aap... aap nahi karte mujh par bharosa... fir kyun... kyun aye aap yahan? Kyun nahi chor dete aap mujhe mere haal par?",
says Meher, crying, her voice shaking.
Naushad stares her lovingly and asks politely,
"Abhi kuch der pehle mujhe dekh kar apke chehre par jo khushi thi wo to kuch aur hi daastan bayan kar rahi thi!"
Meher shuts her eyes, crying.
Opening them, she stares him, crying still, speechless!
"Haan Meher, ye such hai ke main nahi janta kya such hai aur kya jhoot. Par agar iss haalat mein main Irfaan Bhaijaan ko kuch saza nahi de raha, to apko kyun dun?",
asks Naushad, his brows knit together.
Meher stares him, crying.
"Main agar unse baat kar raha hun, iss dastan ki unki pehlu sunn raha hun; to fir apki pehlu sunne se kyun khud ko rokun?",
asks Naushad.
A knot forms in Meher's throat, understanding his dilemma.
"Bano ki mayyiyat par mere labz bhaley hi apko chubhey hon Meher, par unhe bolte waqt dil to mera hi tuta tha na?",
asks Naushad.
Meher starts feeling guilty.
"Kya aap mujhe itna nirdayi samjhti hain ke apko laga ke main Bano ki mayyiyat par itni aasani se wo baatein apse kar sakta tha?",
asks Naushad, knitting his brows.
This skips Meher's heartbeat.
"Bano se akhir mera bhi koi rishta tha!",
says Naushad.
Meher lowers her eyes.
"Par maine fir bhi ye kiya. Kyunki mere paas aur koi zariya nahi tha aap tak pohnchne ka!",
says Naushad, earnestly.
Meher understand his dilemma.
"Waise... main ek baat ke liye aap subka humesha shukrmand rahunga...",
says Naushad, gratefully, lowering his eyes.
Meher looks up towards him, knitting her brows. What is he talking about?
"Itna sub kuch hone ke bawajud aap logo ne mujhe Bano ki mayyiyat mein shamil hone ki ijjazat di.",
"Bano apse kafi attached thi shuru se hi. Bhaley hi usne apse kabhi baat na ki ho par apke barey mein jitna bhi jana tha... aur fir apka uske liye saaz le aana, she was really grateful to you for that. She respected you a lot!",
says Meher, smiling, drowning into the pool of thoughts of Bano.
Naushad lowers his eyes and blushes but at the same time he misses Bano too.
"Wo guilty feel karti thi ke shuru mein aap usse pasand nahi aye the!",
This catches Naushad's attention and he looks up towards her.
Staring her throughout, with a little naughty smile on his face, he teases her by asking,
"Shuru mein to main apko bhi pasand nahi tha?"
This skips Meher's heartbeat. She slowly looks towards Naushad, hesitantly.
"Pasand to aap mujhe aaj bhi nahi hain!",
she says, showing off fake attitude.
This makes Naushad to laugh, but he feels guilty too.
"Mere chand labzon ne humare darmiyaan duri fir barha di na Meher? Hum fir wohin khadey hain na jahan se humne ye safar shuru kiya tha?",
he asks her hesitantly, expecting a 'no' from her.
"Naushad kabhi do insaan wahan wapas khadey nahi ho sakte jahan se unhone apne rishte ki shuruat ki thi. Karwahat ya mithas, rishte mein zarur ghula rehta hai, bhaley humein lagaye ke hum ussi jagah firse khade hain!",
explains Meher.
Naushad realizes how correct she is.
"Kya hum sub kuch bhula kar ek nayi shuruat nahi kar sakte?",
asks Naudhad, pleading Meher.
"Ye jante hue ke aap mujh par bharosa nahi karte? Na mumkin!",
states Meher clearly!
Naushad realizes that she would never forgive him for not trusting her.
Lowering his eyes he accepts her decision.
Sighing, he looks back towards her and asks,
"Waise bhaley hi dosti na sahi, par aap mujh par bharosa to kar sakti hain na?"
Meher stares him and knits her brows unable to comprehend with his words.
she asks.
"Apko kahin le jana chahta hun if you permit!,
says Naushad.
"Mujhe apke saath kahin nahi jana!",
states Meher, clearly.
This hurts Naushad.
"Please Meher, itna bhi bharosa nahi mujh par ke main koi galat faida nahi uthaunga apka?",
asks Naushad, politely.
This hurts Meher; skips her heartbeat.
She quickly places her hand on his, knitting her brows, she assures him,
her eyes wide on him, shocked.
"Aap... aap please...aisa mat kahiye!",
says Meher, apologetically, staring him, her brows knitted.
Naushad stares her back.
"Main... main chalti hun!",
says Meher, all serious.
Naushad smiles a little, thankfully.
They keep staring each other.
Meher knits her brows, staring him quizzically.
Naushad knits his brows too, unable to understand why is she giving him such quizzical look!
"Bahar jaiye, mujhe taiyaar hona hai!",
she says, hesitantly.
The realization skips Naushad's heartbeat. Widening his eyes, he quickly lowers them. Meher shakes her head unbelievably.
"Oh I... I am sorry wo...",
says Naushad, clumsily.
"Main... I'll... I'll go...!",
says Naushad, clumsily still, getting up to leave.
As he turns, Meher purses her lips to refrain herself from bursting into a fit of laughter in front of him.
As he exits, he turns to lock the door, his eyes meet Meher's. They have a brief eye lock, smiling shyly. Slowly Naushad shuts the door, giving Meher her space. As he shuts it, he falls into a dilemma. He turns to leave but turns back again. Knocking the door, such that he is standing vertically, looking towards the west, his eyes cascaded down out of hesitation.
Meher turns to look towards the door and was about to walk to open it that his voice arrests her at her place.
"Meher aap khud taiyaar ho payengi na?",
asks Naushad, politely, hesitantly.
This skips Meher's heartbeat, she blushes and lowers her eyes. Till now she has just managed to remove her duppatta.
"Ji... I'll... I'll manage...",
assures Meher, hesitantly.
His concern touches Meher's heartbeat, she smiles politely.
"Bus... main thoda time le sakti hun... actually...",
she begins to explain, although unable to understand what to say.
But Naushad saves her from feeling all the more awkward,
"It's okay! I can understand."
This skips Meher's heartbeat and her heart swells out of love for Naushad.
"Ahmm... agar apko kisi help ki zarurat ho so let me know. Main Jannat ko bula dunga.",
he assures her.
she says, politely.
No denial it was very difficult for her to get ready without Jannat's help. Once she even considered calling him inside to help her. But her shy self, dismissed the idea, giving Meher a reason to blush. But all's well that ends well. She finally succeeds in getting ready.
As she comes out of her room, Naushad turns to look towards her and gets mesmerized by her beauty. No she hadn't applied any makeup. Nor has she worn a heavy dress. Heavy makeup and heavy dress at such a health? She won't be able to carry them. She has kept everything minimal, just an eyeliner. But even without zero makeup she looks gorgeous. She succeeds in fluttering his heart.
Meher realizes how he is staring her with a smile on his face. His eyes giving way to his feelings towards Meher.
Realizing that he is staring, he quickly lowers his eyes, gaining back his equilibrium, he looks back towards her to know that she is fine. They smile politely towards each other.
In all gentleman way, Naushad gestures her to move forth. Meher obliges.
They first walk towards the room where Jannat and Raghu are together. And before they could knock, Jannat's moan skips the heartbeat of both Naushad and Meher alike.
Naushad hesitantly turns to look towards Meher, feeling awkward. Meher quickly lowers her eyes, feeling awkward herself.
Anger surges through her not only because of Jannat's behaviour but also because she is the reason for such an awkward situation between Naushad and herself.
But as she walks to knock loudly, Naushad anticipating her move, holds her hand in mid air.
"Rehne dijiye na. Aap kyun unn dono ko disturb kar rahi hain?",
says Naushad, hesitantly.
Meher looks towards him in disbelief.
asks Meher.
"Raghu... bus kuch waqt aur... main aise nikah se pehle... tum samjh rahe ho na...!",
says Jannat.
Outside, Meher's and Naushad's hearts skip a beat each! Their rate of heartbeat increases. They look towards each other through the corner of their eyes. And on finding that both are staring each other, they drown all the more into the sea of awkwardness. They end up laughing and blushing secretly.
Naushad, taking a deep breath, hold Meher by her wrist and pulls her with him.
At first his sudden hold comes as a surprise for Meher, she goes numb but soon she accepts it. Pulling her to a secluded area of her home, he whispers in her ear,
"Do you really wanna disturb them Meher?",
asking so, he gets away a little, standing in front of her, placing his hands on the wall on either sides of her face, such that he is hovering her, he looks deep into her eyes.
The rhythemic expanding and contracting of Meher's chest at a tremendous speed doesn't go unnoticed by Naushad. He smiles a little on her vulnerability. Meher narrows her eyes on him. That broadens his smile.
he asks, teasingly, smiling.
Meher lowers her eyes, shyly. Then slowly looking back towards him, asks him,
"To bina bataye kaise jayenge?"
Naushad brings out his mobile and types a message and sends it to Jannat.
They hear Jannat's phone's beep. Naushad arches his brow, and an infectious smile plays on his lips. Meher shakes her head, blushing.
"Jannat tumhara message!"
Naushad and Meher hear Raghu saying that to Jannat. Outside Naushad and Meher are staring each other, blushing.
"Rehne do Naushad ka hoga!",
says Jannat, caring less to read the message or even the name of the sender, knowing it perfectly who it could be!
Naushad and Meher widen their eyes.
They hear Raghu asking that!
Naushad starts shaking his head, feeling awkward, yet enjoying it.
"Awww... are you being jealous of Naushad, Raghu?"
This is limit! Naushad stares Meher wide eyed! He is surprised, shocked to hear that, would be an understatement!
Meher stares him, laughing silently.
Naushad blushes profusely at Jannat's reply.
Meher who finds Naushad too adorable at this moment, couldn't help but pressing his cheek. Her sudden gesture of love surprises Naushad. It makes Naushad to look towards her in utter disbelief. His eyes possessive on her. Meher could feel the sudden change in the atmosphere. Her breath turns shallow again. Her cheeks turn warm as a result of his constant possessive gaze on her.
Has she offended him, she wonders! Understanding her dilemma, Naushad smiles and shakes his head, assuring her that everything is fine, he didn't mind it. Smiling shyly, Meher lowers her eyes and then looks back towards Naushad.
Naushad gestures her, asking her permission whether they should leave now or not. Meher blushes and shakes her head into positive. Smiling, they leave, not before glancing towards the room one last time and feeling shy.
