I am overall disappointed with the whole revelation and the backstory. It is so flimsy that the whole revenge thing borders ridiculousness.

Could not understand Kalpana's OTT hatred at all:
- Harsh may have cheated her but he still loved her. Took care of her and tried to save her sister without a second thought to himself
- Nivedita was angry with Kalpana and family - That is justified as she is seeing a family that took her husband from her
- Kalpana's jiju died because of her sister not Malay's family.
- Her sister lost the will to live as her husband died and she realized her daughter was a vishkanya - again not Malay's family

If Kalpana just wants Malay dead, all Appu needs to do is scratch him. No prem jaal" or anything elaborate required as Malay is already attracted to her.

I sort of got lost in the "vish" inheritance logic but took it with a grain of salt. Since vishkanya supposed has poison in every part/fluid of her body, not sure her partner would survive the conjugal night. 😆

Anyway logic aside - I liked the dramatic tone of the episode and enjoyed it. 😆

who wont be angry if in the blinkof an eye you watch your entire life destroyed beccause of one selfish man.
she has all rights to be angry and vengful, what Nandita and her husband did was reprehensible.

sorry for any mistake on my phone.

Kalpana's revenge is justified to some extent. What Harsh did was unforgivable. He did cheat on her.As far as Nandita is concerned,it was pure selfishness in her part.
And about the whole prem jaal thing, maybe she wants Malay to feel the pain of heartbreak before finishing him off I guess.

My guess was right.Kalpana's character seems to be modelled on Miss Havisham's character to some extent.

But but but, after this revealation,Tapur and Malay are half siblings😲

I am not saying what Harsh or Nandita did were right. All I am saying it does not explain Kalpana's vengefulness.
They could have made it more dramatic and effective in many ways:
- Harsh really did not care for her/her family and was just cheating
- Harsh plans the attack because he was tired of her
- Jiju dies in a follow-up attack and sis becomes paralyzed in the same attack
- Kalpana had twins and loses one of the babies in the attack

My imagination is running wild here. I can probably come up with many more scenarios and their combinations to make Kalpana's motives more credible.

She made Appu a "weapon" for a situation that does not even require one. Nandita and Harsh's biggest punishment was that Harsh got paralyzed and Nandita effectively lost her husband.

BTW - If I was in Nandita's place, Harsh would be dead not just paralysed 😆😆
If I was Kalpana, I would make merry seeing him paralysed every day and taunting his wife about that. 😆😆

Your ideas are impressive👍🏼
And honestly I would have preferred of both the women had simply dumped Harsh😆

But you see CVs do not have that much brains. They can't see the possibilities😆After all my experience of TV shows,I was sure that the reason for Kalpana's revenge would be a bit illogical😆

First of all,the CVs should get their facts correct.Vishkanyas are not born. They are created

Actually you are getting it wrong. she doesn't blame malay's mother for the things you listed, she hates her for the murder attempt, how despite her husband betraying her she chose to punish the other woman who her husband cheated on her with by attempting her murder, without giving a second thought that it isn't always a woman's fault when a man betrays.

Kalpana herself had no idea that harsh was already married, so the fault was of harsh's but because malay's mother is a controlling and egotistic woman, her ego felt it was justified to kill the other woman instead of confronting and punishing her husband. To top that off she went in search of kalpana's family trying to kill her sister as malay's mother mistaked kalpana's sister to be the other woman. They had to run around in fear of their life because of harsh and his psycho wife. Honestly her anger and hatred is justified. How can malay's mother justify killing the woman her husband was having an affair with instead of getting an answer from her husband. And how could harsh go behind his wife's back and marry another woman, that too without informing the other woman that he already is married? Why just because he was unhappy in his first marriage, instead of being mature and civilised about it he chose to ruin people's lives and play with people's trust and emotions? Malay's family are so selfish that I am surprised he turned out to be so normal.

Women always tend to blame the other women for trapping their husbands/boyfriends. I have never seen in reel or real where they lay the blame on their guy's shoulders and question him. The target of hatred is always the other woman.

I understand Kalpana hating "N" for the attack but still cannot say she is justified in focusing all her hate into Appu.

Again as I said before, the hate reasoning needs a couple of more pillars. If everyone started hating like Kalpana does, the world would end. Extra-marital affairs and their fall-outs are common place. I am not condoning these alliances, I am stating a fact.

Destroying a girl's life, keeping her imprisoned for years, using her as weapon, not giving her a choice of a life she may want are far worse than what "N" did. What was Appu's fault in all this?

Did Kalpana's sister give her permission to use her daughter for the revenge "game" or did she wish for a more normal life for her daughter?

PS I am using "N" as I cannot keep the name straight. 😆
