Rishab comes back in the house. Meera comes to see Anoushka and tells her to come downstairs. Anoushka tells her if she (Meera) just wants it as a formality she will but the distance between her and Rishab is still there. Rishab comes in at that moment and says he will try and reduce the distance between them. Meera tells him she will wait for that day and leaves.
Rishab tries to be lovey dovey with Anoushka and tells her he will teach her heart to beat again and for that they will have to come close and tries to touch her. Anoushka just walks away from Rishab, she tells him that even her soul is wounded and she feels suffocated living in the same room with him and leaves.
After Anoushka leaves Rishab has his patented smile on his face says that he will give her time and in that time he will do a lot of things.
Kunal is putting Shahina to sleep, who keeps getting up to find out if her father is still there with her. Gargi tells Kunal that of late Shahina's has a disturbed pattern of sleep. When daughters leave the house and return they become fathers pets, but when a wife returns the distance btw husband and wife remains, and she feels the distance btw them.
Kunal goes and gets the sindoor box, and puts the sindoor in Gargi's maang, and mangal sutra around her neck. He tells her this is the same mangal sutra she sold. Gargi tells her she was angry, and accepts being wrong and tells Kunal that he also did some wrongs. Kunal tells her to let bygones be bygones. They hears drums.
Kailash comes out, there are 2 people playing drums, in walk Raman and Rishab. Kunal also comes down. Raman invites Kailash over for holi as this is the first holi of Priyanka at their house. Kailash takes Raman in for a drink.
Rishab and Kunal stare at each other. Gargi comes downstairs and asks Rishab how he is, he tells her he keeps asking himself the same thing, as people don't want to come closer to him and name Kunal standing away from him.
Kunal walks towards Rishab. Rishab tells him to end the distances on the occasion of Holi, Kunal tells him he is not used to being close to him (Rishab). Gargi asks about Anoushka. Rishab tells her that it seems that their distances (Kunal's and Gargi's) have reduced, whereas the distances between him and Anoushka as still the same, but he has lots of hope in the day of Holi.
Rohan looks at the family photo, Priyanka brings tea and asks about Dad, Rohan tells her that Rishab has taken him to invite Kharbandas over for Holi. Priyanka wonders aloud what would Rishab be planning this time. Rohan tells her that maybe the old Rishab Lamba is dead, maybe he has changed, he asks her why she said sorry to him. Priyanka tells him that she wanted time to gather proof. Rohan tells Priyanka that he cannot see his parents in pain and to burn all old things in Holika.
Holi preparations on. Juhi asks Meera about the fire that is lit and Meera tells them the story whose lesson is that truth prevails over lies and good triumphs over evil. Everyone is gathered around the fire and praying. Priyanka remembers how Rishab managed to throw her out of the house.
Priyanka still keeps staring at the embers, Rishab comes there and tells asks her what is she waiting for. Priyanka tells him to forget the enmity and hatred between them and start a new beginning from tomorrow. Rishab agrees on one condition. He points towards Priyanka and tells her that could only be possible if he does not see her in this house, he tells her to go away.
Priyanka tells him he cannot separate a flower from its smell, sun from its light, aastha from Bhagwan and he cannot separate her from this house. Rishab tells her then not to complain about whatever he does. Priyanka tells him that before the next holi he would be exposed or finished (agli holi say pehley naash ho jaein gay).
Rishab wishes her, her first and last holi mubarak and goes back in. The episode ends on Priyanka's face.
