ya surely he is just acting, and Anisha Rohan did not kill him cause he knows where Juhi is, if Rohan killed him then they would not be able to find Juhi.

Earlier he had kidnapped Tanya as well, they dont show whats happened with Tanya she has just disappeared and Kunal has also forgotten all about Tanya.

he is surely making all the drama up...but this has surely added to the thrill of this serial...
