He was the face of Indian idol when it launched and on record at least, he has admitted to enjoying every moment of being on the music talent hunt that paved the way for a flurry reality shows in the television industry. But clearly, after two seasons, something has gone wrong with the Indian Idol host. Indian Idol 3 is launching soon, and E Now has learnt that Aman Verma has been told he's not going to be on the show anymore. We asked his co-anchor Mini Mathur, who is believed to have had problems with Aman's attitude and working style, but even if she did have problems, she wasn't giving anything away. "I had heard about his demeanors or whatever, but I was very nervous about shifting from where I came from, because we sort of worked out equations," said Mini leaving us a little more confused over what she exactly meant. Aman Verma has his share of critics and supporters and is known to be unpredictable on the sets. While his exit from Indian Idol may not be entirely a surprise, his absence will be very conspicuous for those used to the Aman-Mini combination. "What can I say? You sow what you reap. Unfortunately, he (Aman Verma) was at a wrong place at a wrong time," said TV actor Rohit Roy.
In Idol 3, Aman's replacement will be television industry's new dancing sensation Hussein Kuwajerwala, the winner of 'Nach Baliye 2' and surely, he'll be expected to wear his attitude only on screen. But does Aman's exit from Indian Idol have everything to do with his attitude and nothing with his featuring on a sleazy sting operation on a news channel? E NOW called up Aman for his side of the story, but we don't have it yet on what will be one of the greatest star exits on a big TV show. http://www.timesnow.tv/Aman_out_of_Indian_Idol/articleshow/1 604772.cms | ||||
