Rohit Roy

Everybody loves Rohit Roy. But now his co-stars are beginning to do the slow burn. They feel that the actor has been Big Boss on the sets once too often. And recently, Viraasat co-stars Aman Verma and Sangeeta Ghosh were at the receiving end of Roy's inconsiderate behaviour.

Changing scenario

Things haven't been the same on the sets of Viraasat ever since Rohit started shooting for the cricket show, Extraa Innings. So much so, that's he's constantly asking to shift the show's dates to fit in his new gig. Last week, Rohit instructed the production-in-charge to call Aman, Sangeeta and other actors who had scenes with him at 9 am in Jogeshwari.

Even though the Aman and Sangeeta had been shooting till 4 am the previous day, they reported on the sets on time. But Rohit simply didn't turn up for shooting that day, leaving Aman and Sangeeta twiddling their thumbs until the director took charge and shot scenes that did not require Rohit.

When we called Aman to confirm this, he said, "Why do you put me in situations like these? I don't know who was called and who was not called that day. I did my share of scenes and left."

Rohit Roy and director Arvind joined hands to tell a similar tale. Arvind said, "There was some goof-up. The main actors were supposed to report on set at 9 pm. But somebody from the production unit told Aman and Sangeeta to report at 9 am instead."

Rohit added that he normally shoots for Extraa Innings till 2.30 pm everyday, and that day was no exception. Arvind further claimed that Rohit did arrive on the set later. When he asked if he apologised to his co-stars, this is the response we got: "Why should Rohit say sorry? It was not his fault," the director defended his actor.

Miscommunication

Sangeeta also stood up for Rohit and said, "There was a iscommunication that day. But he did turn up at 3 pm. I did not waste much time when he was not around. I was left idle for some time, but that was due to some electricity problem."

But a well-placed official from the production unit confirmed that what we had learnt was true. "Yes, such a thing did happen. It happened on the day when the main scheduler was not on the scene. Rohit wanted to shoot in the morning that day. Aman and Sangeeta were shooting till 4 am the previous day, yet they reported on time at 9 am. Lekin Rohit nahin aaya."

The source further revealed that other actors were compelled to give in to Roy's timings. They have been getting irritated about the situation but are not vocal about it. "I don't know what Ravi's contract with Roy says, but I think that the production house is going to have a word with him now.

Moreover, he does not want to shoot beyond midnight and this is a hindrance because Aman and Sangeeta are ever ready to stretch themselves past midnight," the source added.

thanks for sharing, wonder why these people cant get along with each other. Must be really difficult for the directors and producers to work with them.
