Karishma Tanna, the latest entrant in Star's Viraasat is all set to cause trouble in Rahul (Rohit Roy) and Priyanka's (Sangeeta Ghosh) marriage. The actress who was taking a break after her role in Kyunki.. came to an end says, "I am glad to be back on TV in Viraasat because the character I am playing will add an important twist to the story."
The track that is inspired by the Shah Rukh-Kajol-Rani starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has Rahul (Rohit Roy) and Natasha (Karishma) playing close friends from college days.

"They had studied together in the US and Natasha was in love with him though he considered her to be just a friend and never reciprocated her feelings. On his return to India he got married but didn't speak about his marriage to Natasha. When she comes back to India, Natasha meets him and he asks her to work in his office.

Unaware of his marital status Natasha wants to get close to him. But Rishab Lamba steps in and starts using her to create trouble in Rahul and Priyanka's marriage," explains Karishma who on Rishab's instructions tries to lure Rahul away from his wife. Whether Rishab will succeed in his move to create a rift in Rahul and Priyanka's marriage will be seen in coming weeks and months.

But Karishma says the character she is playing is an interesting cameo that will go on for about three to four months. "If the track develops well and the character becomes popular then Natasha will get a longer lease of life," says the actress.
