Amar: I love traveling and reading books especially fiction novels, and I love being part of Viraasat and it is mind blowing!
guest14: Hi Amar, I am a big fan of yours, how did TV serials happen, for you?
Amar: I started with Jaya Bachchan's Dekh Bhai Dekh. Anand Mehendru saw my pictures in Star Dust and forwarded them to Jayaji and so the role of Sahil chaachu came to me.
guest38: Happy Raksha Bandhan! Do you have a brother with dimples like yours?
Amar: Thanks a ton, I do have a younger brother, but the dimples have come only to me.
guest14: I love your role in Viraasat, but we would love to watch you in Rahul Roy's role!
Amar: I am enjoying the role I am playing right now! It is more challenging than that of Rohit Roy's.
Amar: I love being what I am in Viraasat right now.

guest28: How was the chemistry between you and Tulsi during Kyunki?
Amar: It has been lovely working with her, she is a brilliant actress! Although she was very raw when she started as Tulsi in Kyunki today she is an amazing actress!
guest38: How did you decide to move away from Kyunki when you were rated as the most happening man on Indian TV?
Amar: Kunal Karbanda, the role I am playing right now in Viraasat is the most happening role on TV today!
priyagurung: Are you doing any other show other than Virasaat? And I loved the way you danced last year in Holi.
Amar: I am doing another show called Nikaah with Shweta Tiwari in the lead. And I will be soon back in C.I.D.
guest14: What is the best thing about acting?
Amar: You can live the other person, and you can romance so many beautiful women out there… On screen!
guest38: Who is the sexiest female lead you have worked with?
Amar: Sangeetha and Aditi Gowitrikar!
brintage: What's your favourite color, favourite dish, favourite destination, where you hangout most? your car? your pet? Which handset are you using at present?
Amar: My favourite colour is yellow, food I like - Chinese, my favourite, destination - London, I hang out in the studio, gym or the sets! I have four cars - Scoda, Hyundai Sonata, Maruti Zen and Toyota. I have a labrador for a pet and I call it star, my handset is a Sony Erickson - 910I
ronitfan: Hi Amar, what is the one thing about the character of Kunal in Viraasat you would love to imbibe in yourself?
Amar: Discipline, dedication, straight-forwardness.
ronitfan: The most happening actor on TV has to be?
Amar: Amar Upadhyay

Amar: He is very good! I love his songs!

Amar: I love Pakistan! I would love to come over there, I have many friends over there who tell me how beautiful the place is. I have many Pakistani friends in UK too, when I go there I visit their homes.
brintage: When you were in Kyunki you were healthy and mind-blowing, now you have become thin… But you were fantastic looking and healthy.
Amar: I had to match with Tulsi then, and now I have to match with the other actors.

Amar: I was there in the mela! How did you miss me? I met 1000s of my fans there!
