Raavee set to sizzle on Viraasat!

Newer additions are being made to the Viraasat family. For all the lovers of the primetime family drama, voila, the new entrant is Raavee Gupta (remember Archie of Kahiin To Hoga?)

Raavee, daughter of film actor Rajinder Gupta, will be portraying the character of Tanya, who works with Aman Verma as his secretary and has an affair with him.

"Yes, You will see me from tonight's episode (19 July)," states Raavee. She continues, elaborating on her character, "Tanya is very sentimental when it comes to her love. It's going to be an interesting track once I enter."

Director Rajan Shahi is very excited about Raavee's entry. Says he: "Firstly let me tell you that she is a brilliant performer. Viraasat has been following a particular pattern, and it does total justice to all the characters, whether new or the established ones. Tanya is a character, who is different from all, she is aware of all the negative points Aman possesses, but is deeply in love with him."

Shahi is unwilling to reveal any more about the track that the drama will focus on. He, however, concedes that Tanya is a woman who is caught between two men - Aman and Amar. He adds: "She will be a bond between them. How and why, is the mystery one has to wait and watch!"

A question that begs asking is that with Viraasat having such a big star cast will Raavee's character manage to grab enough of the limelight? Shahi thinks so. Says he: "Raavee's track is one area which we have not touched upon. Viraasat has a huge star cast, yes, but we believe in giving each character his/her own space and with that being our prime focus, everything falls into place."
