Viraasat... kiski?

Into it's sixth year of continuous leadership in the Hindi general entertainment space - STAR Plus, is all set to move to higher levels as it gears for another big launch of the season.

It is in fact the biggest ever in the weekday primetime slot - Viraasat - Nafrat Ke Khel Mein, Do Dilon Ki Chahat. To add to the month's heat and sizzle, the channel will play host to the assembly of the biggest leading faces of small screen with its high-powered drama and romantic daily in the 9 PM primetime band on television.

"Our currently running successful 9 PM finite show Miilee had reached its logical conclusion, so it is imperative for us to launch a show which could fit well into the bigness of primetime 9 PM band and be a through and through entertainer, too. "Like always, our endeavour, is to dole out a classic family entertainer as it goes on to set its own mark, one which has no precedence, and thereby expect Viraasat to help us consolidate the channel's supremacy in the primetime slot after having already done so, successfully in the weekend band" he elaborated further.

The Cast
Sangita Ghosh and Rohit Roy are to play the leads in the classical drama which will be a story of two warring families the Lamba's Vs. the Kharbanda's.

This B.R. Films Production - Viraasat, would be a multi-starrer family drama that will have a strong line-up of popular faces ranging from Kiran Kumar, Deepak Quazir, Aman Verma, Amarr Upadhyay, Jayati Bhatia, Pooja Rawal Ghai to the young screen scorchers Rohit Roy and the Bengali belle Sangita Ghosh. And this will, furthermore righteously spruce up the channel's year on year strengthening leadership in the weekday 9 PM primetime slot.

The Story
Viraasat will be the story of two people Rahul Lamba - played by Rohit Roy and Priyanka Kharbanda - played by Sangita Ghosh, who are madly in love with each other, however are bound by an age old enmity between their warring families.

Will Rahul and Priyanka's love be able to withstand the onslaught of this historic enmity or will it fall prey to it? To catch it all and more, stay tuned to STAR Plus, as it gets you some sizzling entertainment - Viraasat, only on STAR Plus!
