Yes..I agree they could have shown small conflicts like Db vs DHANRAJ, DHANRAJ vs Neil..etc..and all these in the end affecting the main battle of DJ vs YUvika....but no..kisi bhi character ka koi aur motive hi nahin hai other than to support YUvika & DJ..

Now this YUvika falling in the trap and struggling has become too repetitive..I felt really really bad for her in the last fire incident when DJ pushed her into the fire..& then she came as YUkti to take revenge with Saam daam dand bhed...a fresh concept..I was cheering for her..

But...then we realised..

Yukti had nothing to her.No plans. No back up. No prevention.She just talked big.,Made huge vows.I swear main yeh kardungi. But did nothing in that direction.

Whatever substantial she did was a reaction..like buying the left wing...it was not a part of her plan..Db asked her to go out..& she had to find a way to stay there.. again with the help of luck like always she found that way... changing eye colour is also something she did in the middle..toh uska plan tha kya???

But her mission ...went from Ruhi bhabhi, Db, to Nikhil-miraya wedding...she still doesn't know what DJ has done with Bhumi and why is Arjun his gulaam..This is a sign of being clueless and all over the place....

She knows her enemy less than what she claims to..They are always a step ahead of her...& She needed a defeat...a solid one to actually realise what DigVijay mahajan is actually made up of..and never makes the mistake of underestimating him as " kagazi Sher" again....

I do feel bad for her now...but I think DJ played better & deserved to win...

YUkti track had so much potential... I wish they could have done better...

The main problem with yuvika is no real guiding light in her life. She do what she feels like right at the moment. In the name of guidance she got prem ki aatma which is cringe and low key hilarious for me. She need a real person to guide which once upon a time i thought would be neil. But they reduced his character to a aashiq. Also whenever neil tried to say or warn her about something she don't listen. Naagars collectively rather worry or appreciate yuvika which more add to her overconfident self. She always feels that only she is responsible for taking care of her family. Nobody calls her out. Even dj listens to gargi and at times dhanraj but yuvika ko bas apni karni hoti hai.

In reality, she has a lot of learning to do. And first thing she need to learn is self preservation. Har waqt ye sacrificial bakra banne ki zaroorat nai hai as it adds more to her and nagar's stress rather than solving anything. Prem even though haven't fought and have lots of his principles but had this brain to first be safe and he actually gave safety and stability to his family for 20 years. And here our great FL yuvika...bhagwaan ki kripa se Bach gayi aag se aur prem ke 700 crore mile and even multani offered her to take out her family....but she chose her maqsad. So when her family was getting torchered from dj, she was busy in changing her identity. She could've use that money to settle anywhere with her family....could have built her career and then return with naagars in mahajans house with a bang.

They had designed prominent characters with great care, cast solid actors in those roles, given them specific style, written them with definite background...there is a mystery and aura surrounding these characters and the show only..

Characters like DHANRAJ and Vidur were the trump card of this show...but they are yet to get their due..

DB, neil and dhanraj are the characters who would have game changer in this battle. But look at them, what they have turned into.

I-F peeps have been posting articles related to the show on a daily basis for the last 7-8 days , that's the reason for the spike in tbe chaksameter ratings

The story was very intriguing and mysterious at the beginning. Nobody knew anyone's motives.

Here they have laid bare everyone's plans to the audience so there is no element of surprise and suspense.......Even the Gargi apna gunah kabool karegi part was a little suspenseful but they revealed too fast

They have not fleshed out the side characters. They just revolve around DJ and Yuvika and have no existence otherwise. The Mahabharat correlation is not to be found anymore. They are showing anything to facilitate the story to move forward.......

It is so ironic...that though YUvika's side is filled with intelligent wise people.,be it Bhumi, Vidur or Db, Neil ,still she doesn't have a proper guiding light...she only has one Prem ki atma...jo ki uske andar se Wahi Bolte hai jo woh Sunna chahti hai..

This is where the writing fails to give the brilliantly conceived layered supporting characters their due...

Coming to YUvika' s character,Prem has always been a very big influence for her.She has followed him and have always tried to emulate the kind of person he was when it comes to certain aspects of life..This hiding important informations from your loved ones in the name of protecting them is something she has subconsciously learnt from Prem only..Prem hid a lot of important stuffs from Bhumi,that she deserved to know..bcz apparantly he wanted to protect them...so according to YUvika she is also doing the same...she is also protecting them by hidding important stuffs from her loved ones...

Prem was/still is her idol..the closest ideal lovestory that she has seen is between her parents...so she is also trying to build her relationship with Neil like that..where she is the protector...so she hides from Neil as well... that's her idea of love and ideal relationship only.. Doing what she thinks is right for her loved ones...not thinking in subtle manner....

She did not understand that she is actually increasing their sufferings with this...

Yes... she definitely needs to learn from her mistakes..Most important thing is...her own experiences will give her much more information about her enemies than any amount of spying or eavesdropping can ever give..She needs to just tap into that and analyse her own experiences....

Every dynamic,layered side character in this show was ignored or bumped off or made a fool . Neil, DHANRAJ ka toh Ekk alag past bhi tha...but woh kabhi pata nahi chalega shayad..

By sidelining others, by making grey villains total black, they are just trying to show it a yuvika ki Sangharsh ki kahani....
