Why is Paresh so glorified by Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha?

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I do not understand the glorification of Paresh Deshmukh in Udne Ki Aasha. The man is a terrible father and lacks a spine. I cannot stand Sachin taking Paresh's side in everything because Paresh doesn't deserve it. The man casted aside his young child and sent him to live with his Aaji because of his wife. He didn't think about how it would impact Sachin's education and childhood being away. He never stood up to his wife who is clearly unfair towards Sachin, especially when Sachin was a child. He even hides that it was Tejas who had committed the crime that sent Sachin to jail. A good father, irrespective of what Sachin told him to do, would never be bias between two of his sons and let the innocent one go to jail. Sachin was a child; Paresh should have known better. And even after all this, he lets Renuka demean Sachin and expects Sachin to suck it up, never intervening until its too late. Sachin is always the collateral damage. Even when Tejas eloped, he didn't ask Sachin for his approval and just expected him to do damage control despite Sachin clearly warning him about Tejas' intentions. He even emotionally manipulated Sachin into agreeing to give his share from the 27 lakhs. Had Paresh divided the money, Sachin could have started his dream business. Paresh even treats Sailiee like crap. He sees that Renuka taunts her, makes her do all the household chores, and dehumanizes her yet still Paresh never stands up for Sailiee. The whole family leeches off Sachin's money and Sailiee's household work, but never gives them the respect they deserve. Even in the current track, Paresh doesn't intervene when Akash and Riya hog up Sachin and Sailiee's room. Instead, he expects them to adjust. Sachin is the least problematic out of the three brothers right now, but he is still treated like he isn't a part of the family. Quite ironic because without him there would be no food on the table.

In short, I don't understand why Sachin loves him more than Sailiee. I mean, Sailiee does everything to make Sachin happy while Paresh lacks the spine to even stand up for Sachin. In a way, Paresh abandoned Sachin when Sailiee would never even dream to do that. Sailiee would probably be the only one standing with him if it ever came to choosing and evicting between the brothers.

I agree with you. Its so frustrating to watch. I wish the makers write a better storyline for him.
I hope he stops putting his father on a pedestal and sees that he doesnt do anything for him and Sailee. Hopefully both leave this madhouse and then Paresh and Renuka will understand whos the backbone of house. We know the other daughter inlaws will not do housework, Tejas doesnt have a job-no money in the household from him and Akash makes a minimal amount.

From beginning there are hints shown like paresh is not ideal or perfect. In initial episode after sailee got to know about due to 27 lakhs deal tejas agreed to marriage, she accused paresh as he made deal like selling her for money. He did that for his guilty conscience for sailee by forcing tejas with money without thinking about sailee will happy in marriage or not, he believed sailee will change tejas for good & she will lead happy marriage. For Sachin paresh is best father in world so he won't accept anything wrong about him,he will blinded with his loved ones lol. Paresh character is like taking granted of Sachin and sailee love of him subconsciously/without knowing himself he doing that. Every positive character will be under control of paresh love lol.

Same. I hope they actually make Sachin call out Paresh on his double standards. It is quite obvious why Sachin latches onto Paresh so much while Tejas and Akash don't. Sachin's brothers had love from both parents while Paresh was the only one who was kind to Sachin. Sachin fears getting abandoned by Paresh and having to feel like an orphan again.

Renuka and Paresh (although subconsciously) take advantage of this because they know he would never leave home. If Sachin and Sailiee ever did leave, the family would definitely fall apart. Tejas doesn't work and Akash is an intern so Roshini and Riya would be the main breadwinners. Neither would do any household work (Roshni might in the beginning before she would start calling it out) and then the kalesh would start. Tejas and Akash would definitely argue in support for their wives. Renuka would intervene and take Tejas' side as always and Paresh would just sit there advising about harmony. Akash and Riya would move out and then Renuka and Paresh would be treated like crap by Roshni and Tejas. Whereas, leaving this selfish family would actually be beneficial to Sachin and Sailiee where they would be away from the mental torture and Sachin could create his own taxi business and Sailiee could have her flower shop and interior designing business. But of course, the makers won't do that.
