The De-weeding…continued the painful process

A light smirk on his lips. She is indeed no less, Arrogant, bold no fear… He saw his band … before he could talk….

Shut up you woman Bhero shouted at her grabbing the phone from her. What a Khatra Jodi you both are. Yes not coward like you she said… he hit her again…. Ouuchhh she shrieked.

Suraj fisted himself and shouted ok ok stop now…. I will bring your man but you should send her first. She shouted from behind don’t don’t do that please.

The commissioner who was hearing told Suraj to talk wise and not to stake Chakor’s life.

Bhero said…I will not trust you, you bring my trusted man to my place and only you must bring him.. Hey Commissioner I know you must be there tapping my line…. Let your Officer bring my man to me… I will leave her..and you Officer, ONLY YOU must come alone and if I sense anybody with you I will ……….well you know now what I can do he laughed wickedly.

The magistrate walked down from the district hospital, while Asha’s parents were shocked.

Ajay was hearing the conversation on the walkie. Suraj, he called… keep vigil Ajay and be ready on your rev…. he gave him few instructions. And…. said finally I repeat, do not stop or turn back whatever happens behind you…. Just take her and GO. Yes Sir he said.

Deeraj was inside the van … Suraj went into the van and after few minutes brought him to his jeep. The Officer handcuffed Deeraj along with him and took him.

They drove to the bungalow, which was in the outskirts, and the force was coming far behind in plain cars and not in police jeeps…

They both got down, Bhero saw them through his CCTV cameras.. Arey see who is coming… she saw him walking towards head bent. Tears were blobbing. Nooo she said to herself.

He told his men to check them when Deeraj said not necessary as they both are plain and Suraj was not armed. They both came handcuffed Suraj one hand was in his pocket.

They both walked to the hallway where Bhero was holding her…Their eyes met… why did you do this… She asked. Please don’t.. Please kill me… I don’t want to be your weakness. He saw blood stains in her cheeks and held himself very calm. She said pleaseee don’t do this…

Suraj looked at Bhero and said leave her and let her go. His eyes were at Bhero… Looking at Suraj Bhero was bit shocked… leaving her hand he said… you …. You…look very familiar to me… Suraj said right… I will indeed be familiar to you… he turned along with Deeraj… talking to Bhero who turned his back to her. Suraj looked straight into her eyes signing her to slide away back…. She nodded no when he looked into her eyes … closed and opened his eyes talking diverting Bhero while Deeraj was quiet. Bhero told.. Deeraj come to me when he saw the handcuff… Suraj said wait, I have come into your den, are you scared he asked… I have an old score to settle he said..

Bhero laughed… anyway I am going to kill you… you think I am a fool to send you back…

Suraj asked do your remember Aligarh and the lands of the Khatri family?? Bhero face was turning dark… oh oh .. Aligarh…. Yessss … you look like that Pankaj… oh .. it was dawning on him that this Khatra is indeed Khatri’s sword...Yes that Pankaj whose land you very cleverly got through sublease and you killed him too and not only that you hurt me badly too.. I am his son…But how did you?…. Bhero asked realising he is not easy… Suraj showed the cufflink… and you did not stop but still continued to cheat farmers using their land to cultivate marijuana and other drugs… You are clever Bhero, you did no business in your name…. And you are clever officer… I told you Deeraj he is a sniffer dog!!

Deeraj was quiet…. Bhero was surprised as to why he was quiet.

Chakor was hearing it and was moving back to the doorway hiding behind the pillars and the sacks which were unloaded from the van as the other goons were busy looking at what was happening in the hall way. Suraj was looking at the corner of eye to see Chakor while talking to Bhero…Ajay was coming crawling slowly towards the doorway from the side of the bungalow..…

He quickly caught her and before she could realize he closed her mouth and pulled her towards him and ran to his car and got into it and started the car….

She shouted at him…. he is inside, lets wait… he was revving it up fast. Ajay stop he is inside… he is surrounded by them… His life is in danger… Ajay was not downing his speed… keep quiet he said. Doctor, Suraj asked me to take you to the hospital and not to turn back whatever happens. She hit him… stop.. He did not…

Ajay gave her his phone and asked her to read a message which was sent by Suraj minutes before he came to the bungalow……

Meet you at OT……DO….. OT??? She was confused

They came to a good distance when they saw an ambulance speeding to the bungalow and at the same time there was a big thud with a ball of smoke behind. Officer….. she shouted…… She turned and saw Bhero limping and running to his black car… She could see the whole building on smoke.

Nooooo she froze …. The car was speedily going to the hospital

What happened (a replay)

Bhero was asking Deeraj why he is quiet… He said tell me did this officer torture you?

He then realized that Chakor has escaped. He was very furious but said oh you saved your weakness but now you have become more weak… He asked the thugs to follow Chakor, when Suraj asked them to stop. He said not a step ahead else he will blow the whole building with all together..

Whatt. Bhero was shocked. Suraj was talking with his other hand in his pocket.

Deeraj said yes he has set a bomb in me and he has the remote within his pocket. Please don’t do anything else we will all die.

Why didn’t you then allow the men to check he shouted hysterical. Deeraj said no If they were allowed he would have blown me.. Bhero said you stupid you should have allowed as he would not have blown then as his pyaari was here. But now that she has escaped he will surely kill. You are smart said Suraj. He said I will first kill him when Suraj said before you pull your trigger I will blow pushing his hand down his pocket . No No shouted Bhero…

He was too angry he moved towards the door and said Deeraj I will free you by breaking this handcuff you run away while I will shoot him…

Within few seconds not hearing Deeraj, Bhero shot at the handcuff while Suraj quickly sat and rolled towards the hallway pushing Deeraj inside the building while Deeraj blew off completely… Suraj was thrown to the outside on to the ground when the Speeding ambulance was coming. Not the remote in his pocket but the handcuff was connected to the bomb.

The whole building which had unloaded the things were all drugs and in no time everything was burning including the thugs.

Suraj was indeed grievously injured and Bhero was thrown out…. No No Deeraj and my whole stuff he shouted. He went close to Suraj who was in pool of blood saying, You are a devil you have killed my men but not less you are going to loose your life and kicked him on his wound…the handcuff had the trigger which was connected to the bomb which was burning down all the drugs

Bhero limped towards his car and said but you cannot do anything…I will go away… you have no proof and if you are the proof then you will be dead now. He drove his car in the opposite direction when the police in plain cars came and surrounded him…Bhero got down off the car..

The ambulance guys quickly picked Suraj on the stretcher who was completely covered in blood and he was in terrible pain but he smiled.. They carried him past Bhero Nath when he signed the Commissioner to bring Bhero to him. Bhero was pushed down towards Suraj who with great difficulty said You touched my Angel, this Devil burnt your empire…..You can never rise again….

Bhero was held at gun point and the police searched the car and found bags of drugs…. He said these are not mine as this is not my car.. this is my brothers car and I just drove it…. Commissioner said sorry Bhero Nath you are under arrest as this is your car so these are yours and one policeman opened the dickey and found arms and ammunition … Bhero was shocked he got paranoid and shouted no no such huge machine gun… these are not mine… and this is not my car he shouted. The commissioner took the papers from the dash board of the car. The RC book clearly mentioned that the owner of the car was Bhero Nath………..Since this car is yours and you have carried offensible goods you are being arrested under non-bailable offense…. Noooo he shouted when far away Suraj smiled at Bhero and closed his eyes…………..the ambulance sped in max speed to the district hospital.

Chapter 8

Officerrr……eyes wide…mouth open. She froze…holding her band close to her heart… looking at the smoke behind….

She was numb. Just could not understand what has happened. Within few weeks she felt the green pasture in her life has turned barren..

Ajay was on high speed heading to the hospital.

The ambulance was speeding with its siren on towards the district hospital. The para medics were doing first aid… his eyes closed… soaked in blood but his hands holding the band tight.

Blossoming……

Ajay’s car screeched at the hospital. Tanu came running to them hugged her and him… thank god you both are fine… Ajay hugged her back… Chakor what happened? Where is Suraj?

Chakor was numb… she did not speak but just walked holding her band towards her heart to her room… She entered her room when the ambulance came into the Emergency &Trauma care….

She was summoned to report at the OT… She came to her sense.. Dr Chakor gathered herself… the professional one picked her steth… wore her sterile outfit and walked into the OT… asking for the patient case file sheet.

The patient file sheet was given.

She saw the file sheet… Name: Suraj Khatri… Age: 29……..the other lines she could not read as tears were blocking.

She looked shocked at him lying on the operation table…those words,

It was hitting her.. he knowingly went into the death knell

His dress was soaked in blood. There were three shrapnel piercing his torso. One was just close to his heart.. her team cut his T.

Tanu was there monitoring his anesthesia level…she nodded her head to say he is good to go ahead with the surgery.

A blob when she saw deep scar on the side of his rib cage.. she quickly gathered and as a true professional she performed the surgery. No emotions….her face was blank… she was giving instructions to her team and was getting into action.

She removed the shrapnels. It was quite complicated due to heavy blood loss. He had bruise allover due to the impact…

The surgery was successful, he was placed in the CCU. She knew it will take atleast 48 hours to know if he had won this battle or not.

She teared….She changed herself … applied for two days leave and was beside him.. she closed the CCU and did not allow any nurse or anyone to take care. He was motionless. As a Doctor she knew nothing can be assured and that anything can happen. She was inside the CCU for two full days… she did not have anything except when forced by Tanu a bowl of fruits or some juice. She refused to talk to anyone. The Chief understood her and did not persuade. Tanu and Ajay tried to speak to her and Ajay told her to watch the TV but she was adamant. … Ajay and Tanu were there outside the CCU…

She cried…I donot want to see anything…. He got into this state because of me… I was his weakness… Ajay told her, Doctor you are not his weakness you are his strength. She just refused. Please for godsake see the news channel, he said. Nooo.. she just refused to hear anything. Ajay spoke to himself, Too adamant like him.

She was just beside him… looking at him….

She had never prayed and for the first time she prayed …Oh god Please I have never asked anything for me, but for the first time, please save him.

After my mother left me I feel so lonely again…

She slowly took his hands in hers and said I never had anyone after my mom left…I don’t know what to say as suddenly you came in to my life and I started to feel that there is someone to worry about me. Should I thank destiny as it showed me you or should I curse my luck seeing you in this state.

I still can not understand why was the lock drawn beneath the sword.. Do you know what it means? …

I felt happy when you asked me not to go anywhere alone. I felt protected when you held me saving me from those bikes. … …

She knelt down kept her head close to his side holding his right hand in her left and placed her right hand on his chest.

She teared..with trembling voice she said…I feel I have lost everything, seeing you like this now. I am unable to understand this feeling, but… . She said with a dearth of calmness… I grew knowing nothing, all alone, creating a wall around me but now I am feeling I am lost..empty without you…this band that you tied around me made me feel as a bond of protection, she whimpered

Due to not eating properly she was weak,, she was not coherent.. she closed her eyes saying…don’t leave me…. I know I am unlucky…. I don’t want to be your weakness…but please don’t… she was fainting when..... suddenly she felt her hands moving…rather his hands within hers was curling… she saw it… she lifted her head …she saw his eyes slowly rolling… trying to open. She quickly got up tearing, holding his hands…looking at the monitor showing his parameters.. It was improving… .he moved her hands along with his to her cheeks … wiping her tears. He smiled opening his eyes… she smiled between her tears.. holding his pulse you are ok you are ok…

Holding her hands he said very slowly…Yes I am ok AL…but…. You talk too much….You talked so much that I could not sleep …but that one line which you just told woke me completely. she smiled… DO.. so you heard it…she felt different.. is this called shy she wondered to herself.

He spoke softly….I am not different from you as I too grew alone dealing with criminals so i too became hard but for the first time in my life I felt happy being with you… I wanted to be responsible for you. I too don’t know what this feeling is but I wanted you to be with me always. …I felt calm when you were beside me... Its not soon that I realised I felt the pain when you are hurt .. You are my strength…not my weakness. She felt emotional…

So, he held her hands tighter…. if this feeling is called love then I too love you Chakor he said

I wanted to understand you through my life and I wanted to give you all the protection,pamper you with so much love, which you never got in your life…, she cried nodding yes. I want to prove that all men donot run away from their responsibilities..

Yes! you never left me but………….. she cried…I am unlucky too because of me

Holding her hand he said You are not my weakness…You are my strength for with you beside me I can win any war…he said..

They both teared holding their hands together pressing their foreheads together… Never did they thought that first day when she pulled the stretcher, when he yelled for doctor.. they would be yelling love for each other.

It was not a romantic place nor they were dressed best. He did not have a rose to make her hold but gave his hand behold.

It was calm… very calm.. their hearts were talking… He asked..You told those magic words which I could hear though I was not fully conscious but I want to hear it from you when I am now fully conscious.

She felt so emotional and said yes if this feeling is called love then I love you Suraj…

She teared saying I know I am not like those girls who are sweet and nice.. I am too arrogant. She slowly looked up.. hmm Am I so Arrogant she asked.. he admired her and said you are innocently arrogant….well not all times but yes sometimes she scrunched her eyes, haan you are right…but,he said you are my Angel with Love… hmm thank you DO she said.. still Devil Officer he smirked indeed you are a Devil but a Darling too.. They smiled together.. …. She smiled ….

She suddenly came to her sense… But tell me why did you get into the death knell knowingly.. that evil escaped… I saw him going in his car… We have lost, your all this trouble has gone in vain… there is no proof …..he squeezed her hands and said.. shhh

How many days I am in here he asked… two days she said…So you have not seen the TV or read the newspaper… You were here beside me caressing her hands…. She lowered her eyes… No and yes

Switch on the TV he said… No you need rest… Hmm Doctor please switch on the TV and call Ajay.

Tanu and Ajay who were outside were worried as Chakor did not come out for long so they walked in hand in hand when they saw the AL and DO holding each other hands.

They were so happy to see Suraj in his sense and both quickly understood and Tanu hugged Chakor happily.

Ajay looked at Suraj when the Devil asked in his soft but stern voice.. so young man what are you doing here with this young lady instead of being at the Station.

AjNu both smiled in shy understanding the situation. They laughed together when Chakor said shh no noise for the patient..and said firmly jokes apart you have not yet come through completely please keep quiet.. She called the nurse to bring in his medicines and checked his parameters. He kept calm smiling at her. The Doctor was on her duty with the patient.

But that Bhero she said…poor Asha…

Ajay switched on the TV and brought the newspapers. Both were playing the same story in different versions.

Her eyes turned in awe looking at the strategist in front of her...

The Commissioner walked to Suraj and enquired his wellness... applauding him he said.. Officer please tell me what did you tell to Bhero Nath that day.. She turned.. in this state you spoke she asked.. Yes he smiled.

I told him that IF ANYONE HARM MY ANGEL, THE DEVIL WILL BURN THAT EMPIRE TO ASHES NOT TO RISE AGAIN.

Clearance of weeds…

She called the nurse to bring in his medicines and checked his parameters. He kept calm smiling at her. The Doctor was on her duty with the patient.

Ajay switched on the TV and brought the newspapers. Both were playing the same story in different versions.

The Headlines…

Bhero Nath,the brother of Mr Kabir Nath, who is a famous industrialist and businessmen who holds a respectable position has been arrested for drug trafficking, possession of narcotics and offensible arms and ammunition, abduction of lands through subleasing to cultivate illegal drugs and weeds. Bhero Nath is such a notorious one who has played with so many innocent younger generation lives by drugging them and filming them without their knowledge or consent and selling those videos in the domestic and international market.

Young lady Asha and her two friends had taken the courage to give their testimony against this heinous criminal. The Police have extended their gratitude to Mr. Kabir Nath who helped to nab the criminal.

Bhero Nath was very brilliantly rounded and arrested by the Commissioner of Police. It has to be lauded that the strategic mastermind planning of DCP and Special Officer Suraj Khatri along with officer Ajay Khurana brought this criminal behind bars.…. The gallant officer is now in critical state and is fighting for life from a bomb which blasted at the criminal’s hideout.

Dr. Chakor has been saved and is fine back to the district hospital.

The commissioner addressed the media and said criminals like Bhero mask themselves and the public have to be vigilant and help the police with whatever little they can do. He appreciated the man in the public who took the pic of the van when Dr. Chakor was abducted and shared it which helped the police.

When media asked about Khatri… he said we pray that he is out of danger soon.

The media was playing the bomb blast nonstop which was videographed by the policemen in plain cars far away from the bungalow. The footage of Suraj being carried was shown.

He continued saying the judiciary will now take its course of action.

The doctor in her quickly went to meet Aasha as she is indeed her patient.

The strategies planned by the Devil….

It was evening………..

Ajay explained her while she was feeding Suraj his diet food. He was making all faces as it was bland and said the hospital food is like a cattle fodder. But,the Angel ensured that the Darling gulped it down with her love… Does he have a choice well he doesn’t want it either.

Lets braze ourselves but this is happening withthe vulnerable.

Suraj after visiting the lodge and the room and after getting the narcotic reports guessed the ugly truth.

The drugs or the date drugs(eg. heroine and of same class) are given to young teenage boy and girl, need not be couple without their knowledge and in their dazed state it ignite their passion and sexual urge and without their consciousness get intimate which is filmed by the psychopaths and circulated in the social media to those perverts. The drink laced couple do not have any idea of what they have gone through when they come to senses. They are oblivious unless their video surface and go through psychologic shocks and trauma from society and the family. In very few cases they succumb to pressure when blackmailed thus being subjected to flesh trade while few dueto unprotected one fall prey into shocking pregnancy which shocks them and mars their character leading to suicides.

Scenario 1

This was the scenario which was briefed to Chakor by Suraj without any emotions in him and that was the time she realized he has indeed hardened and he vowed to kill those who are behind this atleast in this case.

Scenario 2

Suraj was informed that the boy and the girl are in the hospital in a dazed state. He met them.

They were terribly scared, shocked not understanding where they are. Suraj assured them confidence. He said their parents are worried and are waiting outside but asked them to help him so that no other go through this ordeal.

The boy spoke

I came from the Gokul lodge and since Asha was coming directly to the bustop we were walking together towards the bus stop through a lane which was dark. Suddenly we were held from behind and before we could realise whats happening, something was covered on our nose and we fainted. We in the middle were slightly gaining conscious when we found ourselves inside a room with lights and expensive bed and there were people around…One was huge big was like a thug… while our hands were held within few minutes they forcefully made us to drink something after which we don’t know what happened and woke up in the hospital here. We can vaguely remember some riverside but nothing more.

The girl cried… I don’t know what happened and if anything happened to me… She was traumatized to the core. She was consoled that she was perfectly fine in all ways…

The lady inspector along with the gynae assured that she was perfectly fine and nothing untoward had happened.

They were worried about Asha when they were informed she is being treated.

He asked them to tell only those lines barring the red ones to the media so as to keep the criminal in dark.

Suraj ensured their safety and also were given psychiatric counselling to overcome the trauma. But,to his surprise they both were bold to register their testimony with the Magistrate in private.

Scenario 3

The Gokul Lodge and Kabir’s Bungalow

It was easy for Suraj to connect the dot that Gokul Lodge was being used to cover the ugly happenings after he spoke with Asha’s friends. The room left of the lift and was leading to the outhouse underground and the opposite door of the room in the outhouse was connecting Kabirs bungalow. The single footwear proved Asha has witnessed this but to what extend he did not know. As all the properties were in Kabir’s name Bhero was enjoying it without much attention on him. But the local police had a suspicion on Bhero’s underground dealing but were not having the guts to work around and when Suraj came in they extended all their support. The Commissioner involved himself personally.

The red cap guy was Suraj as the media reporter along with the cameraman when he found Kabir very genuinely upset about his Lodge’s name being tarnished. After the meeting, Suraj after confirming about the cufflink relating to his father’s murder he met Kabir. Kabir initially did not believe it but when he saw the cufflink with BN and knowing, he had dealings in Aligarh he said he would look into him.

Knowing about Bhero, Suraj wanted Kabir to be very very cautious. Kabir after talking to Bhero went out saying he will visit the lodge but went to the other room and heard Bhero’s dark side. He was shaken completely. He could not digest the truth, which was bitter but did not want to be party to the sin.

He quickly called Suraj and said they were going to the lodge, he followed and saw them loading something on to the van and Bhero was going in his black car with few cartons.

The checkmate by Suraj

Suraj got the information about Chakor’s kidnap. He called Kabir and asked him to transfer the registration of the car onto Bhero’s name and give the papers to the policeman who was in plain clothes waiting for him at the RTO office.. The RTO was informed and helped out personally and all fell in place. When probed Kabir shared that they have an old bungalow at the remote outskirts of Kanpur…With his experience he calculated and informed Ajay to follow the black car which went into the subway sometime after the white van went through as the van took few minutes to come through. He presumed that Chakor would be shifted so he followed the van to nab Deeraj and sent Ajay behind Chakor. The plainsman gave the papers to Ajay along with machine guns. The black car was behind the bungalow drawing no attention from the thugs who were concentrating on the hallway happening. Ajay crawled to the car, changed the papers in the dashboard, and placed the machine guns at the dickey and waited for Chakor to come as he knew Suraj was inside. Rest we knew

Asha the prime witness

Suraj knew he was dealing with a very notorious cow clothed tiger. The hit on Chakor which he heard and her shriek, he decided and vowed himself not to allow him to rise again albeit what even if he loses his life in the bargain to burn down his empire. He realized that he was feeling the pain of Chakor and within his heart he decided she was the lock for this sword as already visioned by his father but decided to hold within himself as he was not sure about her feelings and wanted to wait till she unlocks her feelings if she has for him which he thought was indeed there.

I went through that which lead to a passage and I was behind a door which was opening into a big room which was very big with bed and lights. Through the passage it was dark and had many small white coloured sacks stacked and there a small pack opened it looked like some powder. I heard few weird noise.. she went into Tanu hiding…she shivered. They allowed her to take deep breath and gave her time … she continued…. I saw a boy and girl.. and another man with a camera she closed her yes ..and she started to palpitate…I was scared didi it was was …she cried they were without cl…. They carried them in the bed spreads. I was shocked about to shout when I saw two men(description of Bhero and Deeraj was given) carrying my friends in a dazed state. I was about to call them when one added white powder in some drink and was making them to drink. I shrieked out when one of them saw me..I got scared I ran ran out side without knowing she had come through the opposite door to Kabir's bungalow around the outhouse where she left her slipper and ran to the road. The goons followed her when they saw Suraj chasing them into the small lane… Looking at him they quickly threw the poisoned knife at her which hit her back and ran away.. Suraj caught her and lifted her to his jeep. She realized she was being carried by a police officer and was wanting to tell him about her friends but due to the stab she could say only powder and faint.

The police brought an album containing photographs of various criminals when she shrieked out seeing Deeraj’s photo along with Bheros photo, which was sent by Kabir to the Commissioner.

In order to maintain confidentiality and also to give protection this was not told in the media and was to be produced only in court for the judges to witness.

Her parents were in shock but the police provided safety and she was shifted to a special room.

He said they brought them to the room through the stairs when the boy started to gain consciousness, he started agitating holding the coat of Bhero and was trying to hit him(that was how the cufflink had fallen on the stairs)… but they quickly carried them to the room and made them drink drugs lazed drink so that they become urged and get intimate when Suraj for the first time just bent Deeraj’s right index finger backward completely when he screeched in pain… He said they were from the rural and could not take that simple doze which was heavy for them so they fell completely unconscious. They shifted them to another room down the lodge as because of Asha’s case the police especially Suraj was around. They were given again doze to keep them quiet and finally they decided to throw them off the river.

He asked Suraj to remove the bomb. Suraj said he is handcuffing along with him, and has the remote in his pocket.. He said if Bhero releases Chakor I will release you but if you try to act smart then with no mercy I will blow myself along with you as I care a dam about my life. The pain in his finger which literally broke and the no nonsense of Suraj made him quiet.

He knew Bhero would try to protect Deeraj as he was his scapegoat and Bhero is clever not to do any dealings in his name, so he had kept the dummy in his pocket while connecting the trigger to the handcuff as he expected Bhero to shoot at the handcuff to save his henchman.

Sharp nose, upright chin, his pink lips proved that he doesn’t smoke, his broad shoulders, long legs and strong arms even in sleep did not slip his hold. His torso was completely bandaged but still she could see that scar in his rib which proved that he is indeed a Kshatriya…

Not wanting to remove her hands and disturb his sleep, she kneeled beside his bed, holding his hands went into sleep.

For the first time Dr.Chakor found a man who did not want to shun his responsibility of leaving her hands even in his sleep…

In the middle of the night he suddenly woke up to see her hands within his…. He looked beside to realise she was beautiful,face so innocent, small fit… he could not move even a bit on his own as he wanted to lift her to make her lie down properly but smiled to realise that she was beginning to trust a man… He went back to sleep keeping his hand on hers…..

Chapter 10 Final

The Harvesting

The proceeding at the court commenced … The video recordings along with Kabir’s recording, Asha, and the two testimony in confidence were submitted. Suraj gave his points from the hospital through a video calling. The case was quite strong so it was sure Bhero will be convicted but it was debating how much the tenure will be. The judgement would take atleast few months,but Bhero was shocked that Kabir was aware of his dark side. He was indeed in a state of shock too as there was none to be on his side. The judiciary as per the norms of the law was allowing him to have his lawyer but unfortunately none was ready so the court assigned one for the completion of the process.

The blossom…

It took two weeks for him to just glide and get to sit up on his own… it was one of the days when she was busy checking his wounds with the general physician. He was improving fast. She looked up, when he asked how long do you think I will take to get back on my feet. She said at least three months….

He said that’s too much of a luxury, I need to be fine and get out of the hospital soon… All of a sudden she felt sad, something was cringing her. a bit of tear… I know you would want to go back home.

He was in his bandages and still not comfortable to wear a T or shirt. The tear in her eyes, teared his heart but he smiled holding her hands said Doctor as you are wedded to your steth, I am to my uniform. She smiled hmm.

Though painful for him but the three months was indeed paving way as knowing phase for each other as destiny had twined them to even confess their love rather affection for each other but they had to know more. It was beautiful indeed. .

The Dr would do her surgery if any and go do her rounds and also attend to any emergency… They would have the breakfast together if she doesnot have any OT and he was slowly going through an upgradation in the diet. Ajay and the others used to visit him for his advice on many cases though he literally would want to go but with the AL around it was not that easy but all he would do is just smile at her when she chides when he overdoes his work which would hurt his torso.. They had their touch and go moments of their hands. In all this Tanu was very happy as she found her K friend making a new world and not being in her shell and so was Ajay as he now get to see his K boss a bit smiling though not much.

The Doctor , a true professional she would just leave a note and get going with her case but always was beside him when she had no duty… They used to talk a lot about their work,discuss about political pressures, general debates…and she would always be more of feministic . She slowly started to be more comfortable with him to sometimes he would be in his own world of reading any case or talking to the Commissioner and Ajay in dealing with cases which were difficult to crack. She would just admire his thought process and also the way he is always calm but firm..

He told her about the family business and how his work keeps him moving between cities and never a day he would miss not talking about his father. The reality was striking that both tied to their professions which are mobile so taking their relationship to the next step would be calling for lot of debacle.

She for one realized how much he trusts and loves his father. … she would keep calm when he soon realized the pain and would lessen his talk about his house..

She would come tired after a complicated surgery and would just sit beside him while he would hold her hands admiring her and her non nonsense attitude with her staff and the way she would put her feet firm to call a spade a spade if she finds the treatment is wrong or if the reports are tampered.

He was moved to the special room and she would be with him till he sleeps. He never would insists her to stay behind as he was able to be mobile but needed a bit of support. Not much of sweet talk but she would admire him a lot. Both were going through an entirely different experience.

She would rarely talk about her mother as for most of the days she was sick…and he soon realized that this Doctor had battled through her life all alone and not much of friends or any one she had. He would just loose himself in her innocent natural face and wanted to protect her and love her more but was never taking any advantage as he wanted her to take their relationship to the next level.

It was her off day she was in his room while he was sitting at the side table having coffee. she was on the bedside couch in a simple salwar with just a small bindhi and a small single stone stud.. She was reading a case study when he lost himself in her plain beauty. He did not want to disturb and for the first time was admiring her without batting his eyelid… she felt a tinge in her because of his gaze.The first time her cheeks changed pink…eyes lowered. He felt it was different and a smile on his lips as he felt she was getting affected.

His wounds and blisters were healing in his hands and legs but the torso was still recovering.. He tried to get up when out of the three, his wound near the heart still pained. He whined when she just jumped to him and held him. Suraj please be careful, be slow don’t strain… is it paining too much… . she held him jittering…continuously shooting questions. For the first time she held his torso on the rib side which was not covered by the bandage and he held her hands. Her eyes was full of pain…forehead shrinking…. She slowly held him and placed him on the bed while she sat on the bed beside him…

Thank you he said..when she looked up why she asked. Getting hurt is not new for me, its normal in my work.. there are many wounds but this is the first time I had somebody to be beside me, worrying about me…. His eyes was tearing….caressing her hands…otherwise it was just me and the ceiling or the walls around, he smiled… there was few moments of silence as she caressed his hands too…not wanting to leave him… He slept peacefully..

AjNu were sharing their happiness that they were taking their relationship further and their families have spoken and fixed the date it was in another couple of weeks time. Tanu infact persuaded Chakor as now that Suraj is fine and after the judgement he would be leaving for Aligarh and she should take it forward. forward… think about having her own family. She for a second debated… … is she suitable to have family… She had never thought about it. Is she right for him. Yes she is in love but marriage was something she could not reason it immediately. She didn’t know what his feeling was. She was scared so just kept aside.

Suraj was getting fine and was waiting for the judgement day. The reality that they both have to stay separate from now on was hitting them slowly and they started to feel it. AjNu suggested that they can all go together to Suraj’s quarters when he gets discharged from the hospital so that atleast that will ensure things are set but hindsight they wanted the K Jodi to take it forward.

Suraj was discharged and they all went together… It was a simple one bed apartment with a kitchen and simple cooking items. She went in and she saw the pic of Pankaj Khatri in the drawing. He resembled Suraj very much. This is… she turned to Suraj when he nodded yes. Just unable to hold herself she went in front of the pic and kneeled, thanking him and crying and also apologizing for she thought he shunned his responsibility in the middle. I am so unlucky that I could not meet you even once though you tried to contact me. She bowed herself when Tanu consoled her while Suraj was close to her, wanting to hold her but held himself. Tanu prepared tea and a light snacks for them…. You know everything Chakor said. Tanu smiled, arey every girl knows she said…

AjNu casually spoke about the rituals and teased how Ajay’s mama wanted dowry and the normal wedding gifts while Ajay stood firm and said that nothing should be given and only the basic things while Tanu said marrying him is a great favour she is doing and he should give her dowry… they all laughed but something hit Chakor… which did not go unnoticed by the Officer.

They were invited for their engagement ceremony which was being held in the temple neary by in two days. They left the K Jodi…

She was calm… Chakor are you ok he asked..

She looked up to him…her eyes were full of tears. She did not know what to speak but had so much within herself.…. The last three months has changed her world completely. She woke up to see him and slept after he slept.. Everything changed but suddenly when he came out of the hospital…something was cringing within her. He could understand those questions in her eyes… He was also feeling the same. He woke up to see her and slept holding her hands… everything changed for him too.. His heart was pounding too. She could not say anything but just controlled herself and told him to have all the medicines on time stayed for sometime till an constable came though he did not want but she insisted that somebody is there with him in case of any emergency.

She started to leave…when he said… do you want to say something… his heart was screaming please please speak out,… your eyes says everything… She just lowered and said please take care… Good night…I will see you tomorrow. He turned and said Chakor…..thank you but my night will not …. When the constable came with an auto for her…. She quickly got into the auto and got back to her room….. she was feeling very empty…He was also feeling very empty and lonely.

Tanu’s words was coming in her ears….. Am I best for him…. I have nothing… other than these two suit cases….One with my certificates and one with my dresses.. She closed her eyes… she was holding the band and did not know when sleep took over.

He was just looking at his fathers pic…. The one who has the sword is the one who can hold you… the perfect lock….He held his band which was given along with his belongings while being discharged from the hospital. Kissing it he closed his eyes….

The judgement was written and Bhero was given a life imprisonment and to pay Rs.4 lakhs as fine and if he fails to pay the fine he should serve twice the imprisonment. He was moved to Tihar Jail.

Asha along with the other two left for their villages, thanking all and were given couple of weeks leave for them to recover and continue their college.

Suraj and Chakor and the rest were at the temple for AjNu’s engagement. It was simple..

The couple were well dressed and exchanged their rings. All congratulated them. Su Kor hugged them when Tanu whispered into Chakor have you thought. He was in his simple shirt and she in a very simple saree with a small bindi…. Plain and he was lost in her.. the only difference he saw now was that she wore kajal which made her eyes like a bee and he lost himself in that. Unknowingly he said beautiful when she just lowered her head. The K jodi were standing together and Chakor was helping him holding his plate at the buffet when one old lady said… nazar na lagey bahut acha Jodi hai aap dono… when they both just looked at each other lost in their eyes.

The commissioner applauded Suraj and said he have still not chosen a base office and he can go now to Aligarh but soon will be called back.

He was ready to go to Aligarh. He packed his things and steered his jeep to the hospital.

He came to the hospital… met the Chief and thanked the staff who helped him recover but Chakor was nowhere to be seen. His eyes were searching for her and his heart pounding.. Where are you doctor…… He asked Tanu who showed him her room..praying hard she walked back.

He went to her room….She was standing near the window… tears rolling…Her room was plain like her with just a study table, single cot and two suitcases and few books.

Chakor he very softly called out when she quickly turned towards him and held his hands.. Are you leaving she asked… her voice was breaking…I know your work is over here. You brought the evil to books.. You need to go to your place.. Take care of your health…..

He just told I love you….. you talk too much but you do not talk what your eyes talk .

She whimpered when for the first time he held her shoulders…please talk to me what your heart says….Will you com… before he could complete

Being professionals they had to chalk out their future as both were married to their professions first. As suggested by the Commissioner he took Kanpur as his base office. He made arrangements at Aligarh and informed that they will be visiting Aligarh very often. His bungalow people were very happy as finally he found his bride.

Kabir was also happy and offered one of his apartments for them but Suraj chose to buy a simple one as per his Angel’s choice which was closer to the hospital as she may need to rush for any emergency during any time of the day.

It was a simple wedding at the registrar office and the new wed AjNu signed witness along with the Chief and the Commissioner.

She was dressed in a beautiful red saree while he was in his red kurta pyjama… they signed the register to share the responsibility. He tied the mangalsutra a unique one for the unique Jodi it was with black beads with a sword and a lock in diamond as pendent. They had a small party at the Aligarh bungalow where the name board read as Mr. Suraj Khatri & Dr Chakor Khatri…

The long journey of the Darling and his Angel began……

They had moved into their new apartment near the hospital. Just a 5 minute walk..

Suraj had organized for two helpers, a cook from the Aligarh bungalow as Chakor did not know cooking and he did not want her to have any complex as she was brooding within herself that she does not know what normal girls know. He had got a studio apartment for the helpers and cook to stay in the night. In the same complex.

It was now a week after the wedding as immediately after wedding Suraj had to go to Delhi immediately on a special duty. Chakor stayed behind in her room in the hospital which was retained specially for her by the Chief. The separation was affecting them psychologically but not physically though as they had not yet ventured into their marital journey.

Chakor had organized the apartment along with Suraj on video calls and only that morning they had moved in though Tanu and Chakor had been doing the interiors which were mostly brought from Aligarh. The drawing had a pic of Pankaj Khatri and on the side a sword with a lock.

Three bed apartment it was with a balcony and a big hall,dining and a kitchen along with a guest room and service quarters. They did not want to go for an individual house for the sake of safety as Suraj may go out of Kanpur depending on his work nature.

He went to the drawing where she was sitting with a book in her hand… he was in his T and pyjama when he took the book from her and kept it proper.

She jittered, she was holding the book upside down as she was feeling very very different…

Surajjjj…. She looked up when she saw him hugging her and his hug was tightening when she realized she was half robed… the situation turned hot for her half bare skin was igniting him and her…. he would call her whenever he would get his time but it was too difficult as either she will be in the OT or in rounds or if she called his phone would go unanswered … but a good morning Angel and good night Darling was never missed everyday.

The Doctor had her own morning sickness and was advised rest but she managed with all those as she had to beat the hospital. He was ready to leave for Gwalior…She wished him good luck… he kissed his Angel and his little life within her. I will be back soon take care and be good to mummy he said.

It was the third day morning……

It was the completion of the trimester…. Suraj called her in the morning and checked about her routine…

Tanu left Chakor for an ortho surgery. She was in the sonogram room waiting for the gynae when an unknown feeling came within her… She soon realized she will be hearing the baby’s heartbeat…she is going to listen to it alone…. She held her sword in the mangalsutra and said… I am sorry I did not tell you as my mind knows how important it is for you to be in Gwalior…. But my heart want you to be beside me so that I can hold your hands to hear our little life’s heartbeat… she closed her eyes for a second… She did not want to cry as he never allowed her to tear… She caressed her bump and said, my sweet heart… don’t be angry with your daddy as he is the best one in the world one can get…. He is a warrior so he had to be away from you…..

The door opened…. the technician came in and lowered her salwar exposing her abdomen … kept the sonogram… she closed her eyes…..when her hand was held….. Surajjj???? She called out…looking at her side… how are you???? shhhhh he was there smiling beside…..

Lub tub..lub tub….his hands tightened hers…. The jelly bean on the screen was moving…. Everything is perfect and normal said the gynae…. And Chakor I must admit you are too bold with those morning sickness you are still at the OT…. Great… Mr. Khatri would you want to know the gender….as Chakor is also the doctor she had the privilege to know but both said NO is unison… we want the suspense and makes no difference as its our symbol of love both said emotionally. She left them and went out.

She saw after her rounds on the TV shooting between the groups at the prime market place and she saw Suraj along with his team controlling the mob and moving the crowd to safety…

It was late evening, she could not reach to him….

She was in their room…. Looking at the balcony when she saw the jeep coming….. He looked up knowing she would be waiting….

He quickly came up, though she was bold, still the Angel went fast to just hug him… I am fine he said hugging her…

You look so fat she said…. He smiled….removing his jacket which had the special firearms to tackle the mob and he would turn to encounter too need be.

How you carry so many she asked looking at them and when she looked up, she completely lost herself…

He was standing in front of the mirror… removing the double crossover belt with the two pistols… he was in black crew neck sleeveless T shirt hugging his torso, revealing his toned biceps and his hard chest… She lost herself in him…. The Black T was just highlighting his white neck and his adam’s apple was protruding …. He saw her through the mirror….. a smile of pride… locking her eyes with his through the mirror…

She lowered her eyes in shy… he walked back to her….unable to resist she for the first time held his shoulders and said…. You look ravishing Darling… hmmm hmmm he said…. hugging her …..going close to her ears he said but this is not white….. she lost in his husky voice kissing his cheeks she said white or black you are making me turn pink…. She closed her eyes and raised herself when he kissed her lips passionately…..

I love you Chakor….. my angel he said…… they lost themselves in each other when he lifted her slowly without disconnecting her kiss to the table and made her sit on that.

Her hands was going over him…. not wanting to leave that kiss…. Both got back wanting breath…. She was fully pink…..lips swollen….

Angel he said…. I need to wash myself as been out fully and... we have to be care…. she quickly said…. its three months completed… when she bit her tongue….. blushing … no. errr…. I ….meant…. hmmm…

He smiled at her…. Holding her pushing her strands. Just five minutes he said….. he quickly refreshed and came in a simple black T….

She smiled shy…. All yours Lady…. The AL suddenly realized….. but tell me how did you come…. How did you know about the scan…. You should have told me….. she was on and on…. Shhhhh…. He held her you talk too much….. You are forgetting that your Devil is a Police Officer and a Commando too so I know. Tanu… isn’t it…..she must have told you.... he smiled….. …

She suddenly felt emotional hugging him said… my mind knew you cannot come but my heart wanted you to be with me…. And you came….. you came holding my hands as we together heard that little hearts sound….. he kissed her and said yes…. That little sound….Chakor….I cant say how happy how blessed I am to have you and so am I Suraj… she said….You have given me everything…

Thank you for being with me at the most memorable moment…. he lifted her to the bed….she was hugging him….caressing his black T and his lips…. Turning pink at the black in front…. The devil in him was taking over as both were missing their intimate warmth… Kissing each other….. Hope I am not hurting he said…. she said no….. removing his T… she was caressing the mark at the rib…. it was adding to his toned torso with that light black mark…. She kissed there, when he moaned… and carefully was devouring her as they went into each other with utmost care of the little life within her…

I love you my Angel he said…. she could not say anything as she was turning pink as the Devil was taking over her with his passion…. She wanted it and so was he….he loved her very carefully and preciously….

The morning………………… he held her close to him…..his hands on her belly carefully holding. She was sleeping with smile…eyes closed as she needs no Mai’s house to be pampered..She has her man who turns into her Mai or Baapu or into the best Darling to turn her pink. ..

The Shower .................of Love……….K-Jodi….My SuKor

Today’s gift segment brought me smile and also tears. As Niki rightly said the missing of Meera beside VJ did make an impact… their smiles together…. The way they used to pull their legs and at the same time always compliment each other…………….. missing…………..Especially the Bournville chocolates which Meera cutie used to always grab first………………… Something about the gift and the togetherness make me reminded of the K Jodi………………………

It was past six months…. She had her further ultrasounds and checkups on her own as the Devil was busy with unprecedented call of duty.

The K-Jodi were quite busy with their schedules…but he was not travelling too much and was trying to be beside her as far as possible.

She indeed had her mood swings but she managed it but if Suraj was there he bore the brunt of it…. she would say he was not taking care of her or say she wanted hot jilebi with choco sauce and by the time it was given she would change it for Rabdi with gulab jamoon. The strategist knew as the cook old Vimla kaaki did mention about it to Suraj and more.

He had planned to take her to Aligarh for a break but she had her bouts of back pain due to long hours of standing at the OT so the gynae advised her not to travel much….

The Commissioner was also playing his role with the Home ministry of not trying to move Suraj too far and Ajay was indeed stepping in ofcourse without Suraj’s knowledge as they wanted him to be with the Doctor.

It was one of the surgery day and it was very complicated that she had to perform for 6 hours…. She was too tired that she went to her room and slept off… There had been so many missed calls from Suraj, he called Tanu and got to know that she indeed slept in her room. He rushed to pick her but on seeing her sleeping, tears rolled down… Tanu was beside him… She helped him carry her to the jeep without disturbing her.

He placed her on the bed sitting beside her was caressing and massaging her legs which were swollen, with hot water bag….

He sat beside her holding her in his arms and she hugged him unknowingly…. She was sleep talking which she had developed in her pregnancy….

Suraj, thank you so much for giving me this little life as now I don’t feel lonely as I talk to our child.. He was caressing her face which was so plain and innocent… I sometimes feel angry with you Suraj as I miss your presence but then I feel sad that I was angry with you as you cannot always be my side…. I love you Devil she sleep smiled. I told our little one that you are the best daddy in the world.

He just hugged her close to him….please be angry with me and shout at me and don’t keep your emotions within he talked to her….I could not make it for the scans… I am sorry he said… his drops of tears fell on her which made her wake up.

She was surprised to see herself on the bed but hugged him tight when he smiled saying Angel how are you and my little one he said….. Hmmm we are angry with you she said turning her back which made him hold her bump… nuzzling her he asked why? We want to eat vadapav but you never get me she said showing her pout.

In a minute, saying he got up when she said no no please I don’t want… don’t leave us… stay with us… he hugged her saying I am sorry… for I am not taking care… she caressed his hands No don’t feel sorry we love you don’t we she asked her little one when they both felt a thud the belly protruding. Suraj Suraj she was excited holding her hands on her belly… did you feel it ..the naughty one kicked… kicked…. He felt so emotional feeling that kick on his and again one more…. Emotions overpowering they both hugged each other and stayed in each other’s embrace... for long… he was just holding her preciously and she in his warmth of his hug and due to tiredness slept again.

She woke up to see the room was closed and dark and he was not to be seen. She thought that Suraj would have left for his duty… she got up to refresh when she saw a beautiful saree beside her on the bed and a note Angel …. Wear this and be ready….. will be back…………….Love Darling…

It was a blue colour soft mysore silk saree and a beautiful jacquard blouse… Not knowing what it was for she wore while she heard few voices in the drawing….

She came out and was in awe, shock, surprise and in tears…

The drawing was beautifully decorated with a swing with flowers opposite to Pankaj Khatri’s picture. Tanu, Ajay, The Commissioner, the Chief and helpers along with kaaki were there with smiles…

Tanu ran to Chakor and hugged her…

Whats all this? Chakor asked and where is Suraj…..

He walked in with a big tray full of flowers and two small boxes…

Tanu said….how is the surprise…. My dear friend….. Suraj wanted to do the baby shower ceremony for you… So he suddenly planned and called us….

She was tooo emotional….He too…and he was lost in her beauty with her lovely bumb. He walked with his simple blue Sherwani matching with her mysore silk saree.

Baby shower.... for me....? she asked with tears in her eyes… Wiping her tears he said yes and thanks to Kaaki….She only told me..

She was made to sit on the swing…. Tanu and Kaaki applied her chandan while the others wished her good. The couple took the blessings of Khatri and the other elders present.

They all had the dinner and wished the couple and the helpers and the cook too left for their rooms.

She felt so emotional….. he applied the chandan on her hands, cheeks and kissed her forehead... He sat on the swing beside her hugging and gave her the two small boxes.

Whats this? she asked….

Open.. he said. She opened to find awed…… there were two beautiful solitaire rings…. He got up and went on his knees holding her hands............Everything happened so fast and you came in my life… I feel the friendship band we tied for each other is more of value but Chakor I felt and missed that joy of proposing you with a ring… so here to my loving Angel who is carrying our symbol of love… I love you and will you always love this Devil who cannot be beside you ...He teared saying it....….

She bent herself down pressing her forehead with his and said… Yes Yes I love you and will love you forever and ever my Devil…. My Darling… thank you for showering me with so much love…

She cried shaking when he hugged her… please no tears….

He slid the ring in to her fingers and kissed her fingers….

Suraj… will you too love this Arrogant one who know nothing other than to love you. He said yes…smiling at her My Arrogant Angel of Love… I love you too much... way too much.. I will love you till I breathe my last he said...….She slid the ring in to his, kissed and held to her eyes...

The chimer above Mr.Khatri too chimed giving an auspicious sign of blessing the couple.

They hugged each other when the little one did give its sign of joy by kicking him… Ooops he said…looks like the little one is also like the Daddy Devil….. not allowing to touch my Angel…

She smiled…… hugging him placing a soft kiss on his forehead….Devil or Angel but none can stop this Darling touching his Angel... she said with shy.

I love you they said to each other and went to bed embracing each other in to a sweet slumber.

She sleep talked…………… I told you sweetheart your dad is the best no no my Devil is the best one can get… and none can get like him.

He smiled hugging her close….. and none can get an Angel like you…. The little one kicked his hands which was over the belly, acknowledging him….
