Anurag Sharma and Aarti Singh to enter Udaan

IWMBuzz.com was the first to report about the leap to happen in Colors' popular show, Udaan produced by Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada.

Well, we know by now that Vijayendra Kumeria aka Suraj and Vidhi Pandya aka Imli have already moved out of the show owing to the leap.

With the new phase in story line coming, few new integral characters will be introduced into the show. There will be a new family coming, that of the foster parents of Anjor.

Yes, as we know, Anjor will be the protagonist in the show post its leap.

News coming in is that popular actor Anurag Sharma who got fame with Pavitra Rishta and went on to be part of many successful Balaji Telefilms show has been roped in to play a pivotal role.

Joining him will be Aarti Singh who was last seen in Waaris.

As per a reliable source, "Anurag Sharma and Aarti Singh will play the foster parents of Anjor.

While the hunt to find the apt face to play Anjor is on, the buzz is that Parvarrish fame Bhavika Sharma is one of the shortlisted candidates to play Anjor. However, there has been no decision taken yet.

We reached out to the actors but could not get through to them.

We also buzzed the channel spokesperson, but did not get revert.

What about Meera?

No information about her.

Is that mean they still want Meera as Chakor that too mother of lead.whoever may be the actress playing Anjor she will definitely look like sister of Meera.

Even current anjor looks like sister to her...

So leap is confirmed, anjor has protagonist is confirmed.

ok to hell with makers and udaan.

Tata , bye-bye udaan, just want only one thing now. confirmation of Meera quitting. with that i can say bye to udaan with happy heart.

Hope meera doesnt give in to play chakor, even if channel and PH wanted.

Exactly!

Meera rarely had any vacations in these 3 years.she invested all her three years fullly on Udaan.she has grown as an actress so much.No one can ever replace Chakor character.whoever may play Anjor but none can be as powerful and impactful like Meera.

I hope Meera post her quitting news soon.

Without sai sir vj Meera udaan is nothing.

Im literally crying now.Inspite of all the injustice done to them Meejay still working hard for Udaan.Vj was never acknowledged by the channel but still he is promoting their shows.i hope and pray that Meejay will soon get a better show where they will be cherished by channel,PH and fans.but sadly Meejay wont be seen together in a show as leads😭

yes thats sad indeed😭 we wont be able to see them together now or atleast in near future.

reading leap news everywhere and all our own departing msgs make me😭 and eyes welled up.. even taking snaps of yesterday epi i was in tears.

but then all good things come to an end. this too happened. Wish them both a superb future and wonderful new projects where they are cherished and recognised.

Totally second this post,every line of it.

She has grown as an actress so much. A massive improvement achieved purely through her hardwork and dedication.

She has come a long way and now excels with par excellence in the scenes she do.

God bless her and wish she gets more and more good work the way she likes it.

Exactly no one could be chakor other than meera. she breathed life and soul into that character. None can be as impactful as her.

she made chakor iconic.

hope we get farewell msg from both of them and quitting news of them. never dreamt that a farewell msg from my favourites will make me feel glad 😭 hard fate.:)

Goodbye Udaan

Wished that Udaan will end with Ragkor reunion & Anjor accepting them😭

Hoping Meera will quit too

Now will see old episodes on voot & relive the glorious days of Udaan

both are good actors, i have seen their previous work

but Aarti was quitting her previous show bec they had taken leap there and made her mom of grown up and focus was on the new girl. here she ok paly mom to a grown up anjor, who will be the protagonist. strange
