It even won an international emmy btw. Another show I keep on wanting to watch is Cukur if you like mafia family drama and are ok to watch characters getting killed off all the time lol

Yeah I saw a lot of HiLeon edits on YT. At first when I watched the show I could not think HiLeon will be a pair The way it started i thought Leon and Yildiz was paired As for Cevdet whatever he did was mostly part of his plan, I feel Halit really nailed the character he played this role so perfectly, not easy to play such complex characters. Man the plot twist and his plans really kept me engaged But ya I think Cevdet-Azize fans would be really frustrated with their storyline, Azize was so strange at times thats why she wasnt really my fav but Berguzar did well, her acting is natural.

Yildiz I couldnt tolerate her in 1st season, but in 2nd season she had the best character growth to a point she became more sensible than Hilal I like Yakub’s character too, underrated.

Pinar acting also became better with each episode in that show and yes I know about Yargi heard it has same writer or director as Kara Para Ask but Yargi has so many seasons so I wont watch this now.

Dont even get me started on the marriages and divorces in that show Thats the only reason I wont rate the show 10/10. They show couples getting divorced and when they get reunited they dont show if they remarry Somehow Hilal-Leon turned out to be the most supportive couple despite having most complications cause of the Turk-Greek thing but I hated how they showed them getting ‘married’ it was so unrealistic and kiddish lol

My opinion on Kara Para Ask

I agree this show is quite engaging and watchable but I dont get the massive hype this show gets. I asked in a Turk drama group which show I should watch on Netflix, and most commented Kara Para Ask is the best ever etc etc

This show is okay but not the best ever. Also compared to the other Turkish series I completed , I feel the acting was a bit weak here I dont like Elif’s character and also I dont like Tuba’s acting but she is damn pretty and gorgeous however she did improve her acting in the later season. Engin is a better actor, I liked him, but in certain serious scenes he has this smile (even Boran Kuzum who played Leon in VS has this same issue) but Engin’s one is more noticeable Engin played Omer’s character, I like Omer but they could have shown him more smarter, he is not that smart but a very passionate and talented cop.

My fav is actually Metin/Fatih in that show The actor actually did well in this role Metin is a complete red flag but the most interesting character in this show. I love his chemistry with Nilufer but I cant tolerate Nilufer lol, the couple is toxic too, but chemistry is good

It took me some time to connect to Elif and Omer’s chemistry also, in the later season the chemistry got much better but they started dragging This whole stuff could have been shown in 20-30 episodes instead of 54! I am also not very pleased with the ending they gave to Elif and Omer though its a happy one but it didnt do justice to Omer’s character especially.

I watched the Sultan Suleiman one as well as Kosem one. I liked Suleiman better. But frankly one needs a different level of mental strength of watch harem stories and especially if they show love story in the middle of it.

Suleiman and Kosem were the 2 first turkish shows i watched Even I liked Suleiman more, but I am still traumatized with what Suleiman did with Mustafa 💀. The acting of the whole cast is brilliant there, almost all of them did really well in their roles. I loved Suleiman and Ibrahim’s bonding at start but then Ibrahim got greedy. The Ibrahim actor is in Vatanim Sensin too and I was so happy to see Suleiman and Ibrahim again, its like them in parallel world
I love Suleiman and Hurrem chemistry but Hurrem was shown as such a vile person in that show, i didnt like that. Very unpopular opinion I actually liked Selim’s one Nurbanu more but then she also got annoying later

As for Kosem, I loved the first season a lot till Ahmet died. I liked his acting more than Kosem’s too. I loved Ahmet and Anastasia chemistry, but when the actress changed, I didnt like the chemistry much but the story was still watchable. I love Ahmet character and that Iskender dude too. I actually loved all the performances of the actors who played all the Sultans even Mustafa and Osman too.

But acting wise my fav was Sultan Murad . I became a fan of Metin Akdulger who played Murad cause of this show. 2nd season was bad imo, the acting also became much weaker except Murad, the older Kosem and young Ibrahim. I felt Murad carried that season alone, and I completed that season cause of him only.

So, the new older woman is kind of getting the physio story back to track. I didn't know that. I thought it was to continue Sultan story which ended suddenly.

Some are saying the driver guy who is Abidin btw () will marry Suna in the first episode of S3. I didn't know he will get married to his fiancé. Wow, so many rumors, I don't know what to believe anymore.

The bts drama and gossip seems more fun than the actual show right now lol Yeah the kaysun fans feel they were robbed coz the actors seemed happy about the new season and bam the news comes out on the wedding day lol so they feel its some shady stuff due to the actors offscreen marriage lol the actors are all friends btw but it did seem sus why this happened lol

I know from spoiler gossip there was gonna be some baby or older lady drama for seyfer but they had to change things due to ratings now they are gonna bring that back lol About Adidin who knows what they are gonna do with him but fans are mad about all the spoilers lol

Not sure if Hileon were the plan initially coz yildiz and leon seem to be flirting but then she had this thing with ali kemal her adopted brother lol on top he was leons long lost older brother lol but I am glad hileon happened coz they made more sense than flaky yildiz she needed to grow up she already cost a man his life lol glad yakub came and helped her grow up lol

I felt for cevded cos he was living a double life for so long and he barely got to be happy with his family or kids in the end and it didn't help Azize was so dramatic and annoying lol

As for the marriages lol at least Hileon stuck to eo unlike all the drama of the others lol yildiz and her marriages lol the parents drama lol we tend to forget hilal is a teenager in the show and leon is barely out of his teens as well and they go through so much lol

You should still try to watch yargi coz its so good and Pinars character is great CEylin isn't the perfect fl she makes mistakes and she is fierce and has demons.

For me KPA was more a show about twists and turns and less of a romance drama. I didn't really care for omer or elif and them together lol I also like fatih as a character and enjoyed the toxic relationship between him and nilofer lol maybe that is why I like AsLaz from Yabani lol Them making it more then the leads lol I also enjoyed the whole drama of omers brother like the guy betrayed everyone lol I also liked mert and demet getting together in the end like all the families connected lol They did drag the show in the end and elif and omers ending was lame they coz it was a conflict created for no reason to separate them for one extra episode lol

Ibrahim was a twist I didnot like. I would rather he remained loyal. But I guess it was to show how loyal Hurrem was. I felt like Hurrem needed to evolve to survive otherwise she and her children would have been long dead. This was a very good season.

Kosem lost its charm for me after Anastasia left, I agree something was missing after that.

I didn't watch Murad's story. Lost interest after that.

I also felt Hilal and Leon wasn’t the initial plan I think it was suppose to be Leon-Yildiz and Hilal-Mehmet at first I think their chemistry when they were at hospital and Hilal and Leon’s debate about love those scenes let makers to make them a couple as fans loved them

This whole Yildiz-Ali Kemal thing was so weird Interestingly Hilal dated Ali Kemal in real life but it didnt work out. And Yakub was the exact kind of guy Yildiz needed! Felt bad for Yakub poor guy had to change his look so frequently

Yeah Cevdet made a huge sacrifice for his country, the way the emotion and the tough battle Cevdet had to face was portrayed was so well done. Hilal-Leon surely turned out to be most understanding couple thats another reason I loved them especially Leon’s immense love for Hilal. I told my friend they are the only teen couple I liked

Yargi is just too many episodes wont watch it this year maybe next year
