2 more episodes to go!
And wow this drama has managed to keep me amazed until now. Imran stepping up to marry Mariyam was so consistent with Imran's character. He is impulsive esp when he gets angry & he is the kind who goes all out to protect people he loves. And without realising he fell for Mariyam long ago. And Najma is already his Mahek.

Mariyam's confrontation was also very consistent with her character. Ever since she decided to fulfill Najma's dreams, we've seen her move one step further towards the strong, independent woman she had left behind after marriage. And today's situation just fell right into place with Najma & her secret coming out. And there she had it. She burst! And wow what an outburst. Without being rude or long dialogues of sympathy & tears, she was direct. Straight to the point in questioning a woman's position & her right to live in this world. Just amazing.

Salman Baig seemed to be ashamed of himself & as usual, he will probably be the first one to understand Mariyam. Younis as usual, was left without anything to say. Those questions pricked & somewhere he probably does know that they are not wrong but his ego that comes in between. With Salman around, Younis too will come around.

I am really going to miss this show. Its been a wonderful, beautiful journey. Very proud to say that this is one of the few shows that I watched from the start till the end & loved every bit of it.

Agree with all your points.

@ bold - I have a small observation in this regard.

We do not know, her actual temperament thru' her life with Tauseef.
Per the FB's that used to be displayed to us, every now and then, apart from being a jovial, good natured girl, who was in love as a girl friend and later as a wife to Tauseef, there wasn't much light that was thrown on her temperament.
As long as Tauseef was there, she rarely cared for any thing, her life depended on him. There had been no particular goal to her life. And this continued, even after his demise, only that , she has realized, that she has to now live for Najma. Yet, in the beginning of the show, she is still a meek person when it came to that. How much ever she loved her daughter, she didn't have the drive in her to go that extra bit , as to defy her family for her daughter's dreams.

But the entry of Imraan into her neighborhood and slowly into her life, has changed that.

He put forward before her a set of questions, that made her think, find answers and act.

In a way, I feel, he 'empowered' her. In actual, he had done, what Tauseef could not ⭐️

If you can notice, there is a marked difference in the manner Mariyam talked to either Nasima or Younis , FROM the moment she went ahead and signed the Tennis competition form @ school.

The answer that she gave to Imraan that day - " None other than Almighty " , it was given with such a conviction, and we saw no looking back in her attitude, the manner she took things head on , when needed.

So, I would say, Imraan had been a true teacher / coach not only to Najma., even more so to Mariyam.

He empowered both of them, one, wrt to her thinking., and one wrt her passion and talent.

and in return, Mariyam , Najma have been the healers of his broken heart.

I would forever remember this small little show as A beautiful tale told of a Teacher and a Healer(s) with utmost honesty and sincerity 👏⭐️

Lovely epi.
It would have been better if mayam was allowed to fight her own battles. But I guess thy need to move the story of M and I faster to conclude the show. I liked how they progressed it. So much in character for imran.

Truly said adi and prc_fan1. I will always remember this show as a beautiful story of passion, determination and selfless love defined by Najma, Maryam, and Imran respectively⭐️

Just 2 episodes left but the story is being taken very smoothly and beautifully. 👏👏

Adi you r right Imran had been a wonderful teacher not only to Najma but also to Maryam. He made her stand up for her and her daughter. He instilled in her a confidence and made her realise that being a woman doesn't mean she should always sacrifice herself and her dreams. This gave her the confidence to speak and question Younis like that...Barkha had been at her best.⭐️Imran in true sense would be a perfect partner for her. 😳😳

And no one could have healed Imraan better than Najma and Maryam. Their smile used to lift his spirits up.He found someone who cared and understood him and accepted him for what he is and realised he was a good man who had been the victim of fate and selfish people. It isn't a wonder when he stopped Younis from slapping Maryam...One of the most important woman in his life for whom he had fallen for long ago...😳😳

His declaration that he would marry Maryam...If a relation is required to fight for her and Najma is also no surprise, given the kind of impulsive behaviour he has and the way he goes out of the way to fight for people he loves.

Maryam may be a Little shocked at this sudden declaration but will realise that no one else can be better father to Najma other than Imraan😊😊 and no a one could care for her better. She already realised this after the srivastav episode. Any further doubt would be cleared by abbajaan who also have soft corner for Imraan

The show is to end and we are more than happy with the union of the trio. Together they would make the most perfect family😃😃.I am sure that the gem of a person that Imraan is he would prove to be wonderful father as well as husband😃😃😃.

This would be the fitting end to the story of 3 individuals who had been victims of fate the and fate only brings them together. Giving one the reason to live again, becoming a support to other, and enabling the third to fulfill her dreams. Pure human bonding and love👏

Sorry wont b able to share my views as i wud love to
Lappy's net connection is not working
N m ol thru mob
All said it
Fab reviews...
A show which describes the reality..not like other daily soaps...never rubbered any concept...focused on the trio
As the title says..tum sath ho jab apne
Means imran is there with both mariyam n najma
To one as a husband n to other as a father
Till now no relation was there but js a neighbour...who cared for both of thm selflessly
But now he want a relation with thm because society demands a name...a relation to do something fir the one you care for...the one you love without any conditions...
But society has placed the condition...a relation shud b there to do something humane for other human to whom u r connected thru heart
So yeah here u go imu darling...give a name to this relation...n shut the filthy mouths of whole society...specially the one who questioned at first...
I ll miss this show...the whole cast...i alwayz felt attached to it somewhere...a show which perfectly depicted the society...

Absolutely.

All of this told in a most simplistic manner, in simple lines, with simple characterizations, in a simple setting...where in just this simplicity is enough to have a whole some viewing experience.

Just wanted to add my two-bit to the discussion between prc_fan and adi:
You both make interesting and valid observations. We don't know too much about Mariam - but it does appear from the flashbacks that she was pretty, very sweet, somewhat naive, not very ambitious and willing to give in and give up. In particular, I'm remembering the time Tauseef teased her saying he couldn't marry her because he had to marry Naeema. Mariam was miserable but she said, "ok, do what you have to, obey your family.. you have my good dua for your future."

I found that very intriguing. Here is a college going girl, so nice and so soft, she's not even willing to make a scene when her boyfriend calmly says he's obligated to marry someone else!
I don't want to read that as a negative thing - in fact, it is very generous of her.

Mariam seems to have an easy, comfortable life till Tauseef died. A life that allowed her to be soft.
And after Tauseef died, she was too dazed, too full of grief and too well brought up to protest when Younus and Naseema started to subtly control and insult her. By the time she had gathered her wits and begun to think that Najma was suffering because of this, the pattern had been set. She was dependent on Younus for looking after herself and her daughter, she tried to compensate by working in the house but it was not till the 'Tennis bhooth' happened and Imran told her to consult only her God and no one else that Mariam really woke up.

The day she decided to permit Najma to play tennis, she knew the time to assert herself had come. She was just postponing it for the sake of harmony. And now that the secret was out, she came out guns blaring - she was not ashamed and had no intention of buckling to Younus' bullying ways. I don't know what would ahve happened if Imran had not intervened. What would Mariam have done? Disobeyed Younus, left the house, taken up a job? We know she is willing to do anything to let Najma pursue her dreams.

Anyway, since the story has to finish here, she has a feminist in Imran supporting them all the way.
So sad that it ends tomorrow!!
