Two contrasting ways of protecting someone

That's what was on display in this epi...

First we have Imran...who wants to protect Mariam from needless narrow-minded misunderstandings and accusations so he promptly and firmly refuses the food she sent...and to drive the point home, tells her more POINTEDLY when he gets home...ki mat bhejiye humare liye khaana...aapke liye hi mushkilein paida hongi...

What's amusing to me is that it's not like Mariam went out of her way to send him food...it was NAJMA'S idea...and Mariam first hesitated, and then added the food in almost as an afterthought😆

But when Imran confronted her about it, she didn't clarify either which way...not to the fact that it was Najma who asked for the food to begin with (Mariam was just being a good neighbor) and then not really saying anything and just quietly walking away after Imran has said his piece.

Imran's intentions were obviously good but Maamu astutely pointed out that he could have CONVEYED it in a nicer manner cuz Mariam looked a bit hurt😆


Then we have Mariam...who finds her own way of defending Imran in front of Najma when Najma complains about his arrogance and rudeness in refusing the food again...now whether she did it simply cuz she couldn't tell Najma the real reason for Imran's reluctance to accept the nice gesture or she did it simply cuz she understood Imran's intent and didn't want him let down in Najma's eyes...that we can keep debating😆

Either which ways, it was sweet.


And LOL@ Imran AGAIN taking up the cooking challenge from Maamu😆

And if the precap is anything to go by...no hard feelings from Mariam's side over him refusing her food...she's in fact TEACHING him how to cook via the WINDOW😆...oh these lovely windows...so useful😆

And adrak ka achaar seems on the way too since Mariam agreed to teach Maamu how to make it today...methinks Maamu toh nahin, Mariam will end up making it herself only😆

Wow for two consecutive days new title instead of things i liked 😊 An apt title for todays episode. Oh I so love this show.Its so refreshing to see normal people doing there routine stuff yet be so interesting and entertaining.

Imran miya and Mariam are always concerned and worried about the other. They dont even realise it but they care for each other. Mariams Shaitaan to naa kahiye to Mamu awww... Kitna apnapan 😆 And then comes Imran who shouts at Mariam but just because he is so worried about her izzat. Here is a guy who is so aware of the problems and the stigma that a women has to face in the society.

Mamu the all time punching bag 😆 had to bear the brunt.Aap ko to bas khane ki padi hai. 😆 😆 How many times he must have said this to mamu lol.

Mariams always defending naye padosi with Najma. Even the other day Najma asked aap kiski side hai meri ya unki 😆

Exercise scene with the kids was a riot. 😆 Waqars pet beech mein aata hai lol. Rehmats bis lahaul villa kubal kasrat ? Hum koi pehelwaan hai cracked me up.

Najmas exuberance and excitement for tennis will make it difficult to keep a secret.

Missed Saba and her phone today LOL.

Imran was looking out for Mariam, even if he was tetchy about it.

And Mariam, well, she had to defend Imran to Najma, try to tell her he was right, even if he was surly. It was working out of Mariam's own feelings. She was a bit abashed when he scolded her, but he was absolutely right in his stance... she convinced Najma, and convinced herself. Just an alternate reading - may not be right.

Yep, going by the precap -they've thrown caution to the winds - cooking lessons across the windows. Now whatever next!!

Yeah I love that about this show too...they make everyday routine things endearing to watch...after a longgg day when I come home and watch this show, everyday it either gives me something to smile about or some food for thought...that is what I like about it😊

haha Maamu IS a BIG time foodie! Quite the bhukkad...I don't blame Imran for complaining about Maamu's obsession with us ghar ka khaana...such a despo he is over getting to eat good food...waise can't blame him much,...living in an all male household, cooking for himself and Imran and obviously missing that female touch that brings FLAVOR to cooking😆

Mamu and Jamaal can talk about food all day.😆 Thats the beauty of the show you just cant remain angry , annoyed or irrtitated with anyone too long.

Yes, Najma's exuberance and Waqar's big mouth guarantee that it will be very hard to keep this a secret for long.
