The flashback was awesome
Abhi in college days must have been the popular guy and girls
falling in love with his personality
I'm thinking Aanchal took Abhi's ILU as he really meant it while Abhi
just commented in a polite way thinking it about his singing
I'm sure Aanchal had made illusions about Abhi been in love with her
because clearly he did'nt remember her so it means he never loved her

I agree . Abhi must been a very Popular Guy of his College ..A very Charming Guy on whom every Girl used to drool over him 😳 . Aanchal too must be among those girls . And She might have taken Abhi's ILU as his love .

Like mostly everyone guessing that Abhi might be Popular among his College mates & So He used to get loads of Appreciations / Proposals from Crazy Girls , So He used to just appreciate it by saying ILU .like he did to Aanchal . And Aanchal misjudged it thinking Abhi always loved her . OR May be there might be some Other reason like Memory loss thing . We will see it in future whatzz the actual reason .

I guess May be some College mate might have played prank on Aanchal giving her that Gift (Showpiece) on name of Abhi . And So Aanchal might be thinking that the gift is been given to her by Abhi . And So She loves it that much .
