Promo to Part Two
Jatin waited for Abhi at the waiting hall. He had been busy for nearly 18 hours in his duty which never seemed to end.
Jatin thought: I wonder why he chose this profession. Doctors can hardly live for themselves. They've got to attend to patients who need them almost at any time and for almost any number of hours!
His thoughts were interrupted by a voice: Excuse me, are you waiting for Sir?
Jatin looked up and saw a young intern, pretty, smart, simple and concerned.
Jatin: Are you referring to Dr. Abhimanyu as Sir?
The girl: Yes. He sent me to tell you that he would not be back home tonight. He is amidst a complicated case and hence couldn't take your calls.
Jatin got frustrated: And may I know who you are?
The girl: I am Ria Agarwal. An intern in this hospital.
