For me It is Abhi who tried his best to explain his mother . One more option according to me should be Kailash Maheshwari who too understood Abhi and tried to make Rukmani understand that Even though RiYu's ways were twisted But their intentions were pure and right 😊

I will say Abhimanyu because

Firstly, he spoke the truth with good intentions as he wanted to respect Ria's views on not keeping his mother in the dark.

Though it was late...he was brilliant in accepting to go ahead and even facing the consequences which were rather severe and heart breaking...

The love for both his mother as well as Ria was shown well...and I somehow feel as an actor he comes out with great performances in such emotional scenes!

Even Abhi's reaction to the caustic remark made by his chacha...was fantastic.

Abhimanyu ...is my choice.

Kailash is my choice
he understands Abhi and why he lied in the first place , he wants the
happiness of his entire family but not by thrashing away the happiness
of Abhi
