The first scene --- so cute!

The first scene yesterday was so lovely with Abhi leaving the house early to calm Ria as she was upset the previous night with him. He also had to clarify about the rishta that was fixed for him much to his dislike. Rukmini as a mom, is shown as a strict disciplinarian which is fine but my point is ---- isn't it cool to see your young son wake up that early for physical fitness --- he was dressed for that yet she had to ask him - itni subah subah kahan ja rahe ho?

Somewhere she suspects something is brewing in his life after he rejected or in more precise words refused to take the shagun on that day. The postponement had given her the much needed clue and she is trying to have her way in getting Meenakshi into his life by displacing Ria ---- the girl who she isn't aware of till now.

I know why it is said that ---

A house needs a grandma in it.😊

Now comes the excellent scene of the dadi a quick thinker to calm her daughter in law's anxiety --- yes Rukmini's I meant by calling her most adorable grandson to have a taste of the juice which was supposedly to keep away girls from enchanting him or luring him towards them!😛 Girls have their way anyways to lure their guys and probably the juice idea came a good one year late to her but she was simply so very cute in that whole scene! 😊Though she tried to say that now a days ladkiyan ladkon ko pahasati hai there was a humourous angle to it and not an accusation tone!

Her objective I guess was the good health of her grandson!😃

But it was so cute ---- with the added help she got from Sheetal. Bhabhi saw to it that devarji gulped down the juice and I was smiling continuously in that scene --- I was wondering if it was karela juice but thank God the contents that went into the mixture were well explained by dadi.😆

I had to edit this as I forgot to add that the dadi felt pachason ladkiyan peeche padi hongi...no dadi..you are wrong here...😛the numbers are a lot more for Abhimanyu I'm sure you all will agree!😆

Rukmini as a mum believes arrange marriages does work as everyone
in the house had an arrange marriage and it turned out beautiful .
yes perhaps she has an idea that Abhi has a girl that he is involve with
but she certainly is not going to go easy on him . his Dadisa like a perfect distraction gives him the drink but I think later she'll be the one
that stands with Abhi

Nice post Shanti and I too think Abhi's mom is suspicious of him.. I don't see her as an over protective mom which I might understand but she is more like an over dominant mother or ruler who tries to keep tabs on their servants, though traditions are traditions and lets be realistic, I think there are still some families who believe in them til the end.

I love dadi and she definitely has to be there, either to protect and dote over, or ridicule and taunt..but I think everyone loves a doting dadi ma..


And yesterday I think Abhi seemed so mature in everyone's eyes the way he handled his situation with ease and the respect and sincerity he gives to Ria's parents

I also loved how She made Abhi drin that hole not so tasty Drink & Abhi's rezction on drinking that was hilarious to the core , Damnn adorable 😳😆 ..

I am sure Rukmani knows that Abhi have some girl in his life But she doesn't have any idea that upto what extent Abhi loves Ria . She have her misconception that Abhi will forget the gorl as it is just a infratuation according to her . remember the Bedroom scene of her with Abhi ? How she warns him clearly to forget the girl .
