CHAPTER 02: Your Order my command?
Kalyani woke up with the sound of shower coming from the washroom as she understood that Malhar just turned the shower on.
She got up, started arranging the bed when she suddenly looked at herself and saw some marks on her neck which she is very familiar with. She knew that every time Malhar sleeps hugging her, his peaky stubble leaves this mark.
Though it fades away in a few minutes but seeing the mark Kalyani realised that they were sleeping sticking to each other for the whole night without even her realising.
“Maine kal raat hi Malhar ko punishment di aur wo iske baad bhi mere saath normally so rahe the? Buri baat!
Waise…. Accha hi hua, Warna mujhe bhi acche se neend nehi aati aapse dur“ Kalyani smiled cutely.
When Malhar realised after waking up that his face was buried in her neck and his stubble had left marks there like all other time, he swiftly left for shower so that she stays sleeping till her neck gets normal blood flow and looks normal. But the sound of the shower and sun rays made her wide awake.
He received an important call as soon as he came out of the washroom, which prevented him from further talks with Kalyani.
Kalyani didn’t wait as they have lots of preparations to make. For what? Obviously for Goda’s wedding.
Godavari’s wedding has been fixed with a guy called Ajinkya whom she is in love with. So the whole family is busy enough in the preparations.
Malhar came out of the room hurriedly for breakfast and saw the house already beaming with celebration vibes expressing that there is a wedding taking place.
Malhar was going towards the basin when he saw his wife coming with a big basket of roses which are gonna be used for decorations on goda’s engagement which is gonna take place the next day.
He noticed how gorgeous she looked with the hair tied and the lose strands making their way to her face.
“Lucky hair strands” he thought as those get to touch her angelic face all the time.
But she didn’t even turn to look at Malhar which instantly made Malhar make a face and move. He thought she ignored him where she was just occupied with too much work.
But unfortunately, her ankle got collided with the sofa and she was about to fall when he dashed towards her and held her by the waist with one hand and held the basket with another.
In a fraction of second, before she could even realise the event, he dropped her on the sofa which made her go “ouch!”.
She looked at him confused and he whispered “Sorry tumne to chune se mana kiya tha, your order my command” he gave a sly smile and she fumed with anger.
He kept the basket safely on the table and left to wash his hands and have breakfast.
Even though Kalyani herself had made the no touching rule, but she was evidently disappointed with him for following it. She had expected him to apologise and she would have forgiven him after a few sorrys. But the acp Sir making her follow her own rule ended up making her irritated.
“Bade aaye no touching wale. Poori raat gale lagake sone ke baad ab aarahe hain no touching bolne! Huh! Dikhaungi main bhi unhe ki Kalyani Rane hain kaun”
After getting done with the breakfast, Malhar left for the station and Kalyani was about to start for her office when Anupriya called her
“Kalyani”
“Ji aayi”
“Tumhare aur Malhar ke beech mein kuch hua hain kya?”
Kalyani instantly got alert. She didn’t want their silly fights to get revealed in front of the family as it’s personal. And realised that their banters shouldn’t go on in front of other family members anymore as everyone has got eyes to witness with.
“Nehi to… Kyun aayi kya hoga? Kya Bol rahi ho?” She acted clueless.
“Wo tum dono breakfast table pe poore time ek doosre ko aise aankh dikha rahe the aur aisa lag raha tha ki jhagra karke aaye ho”
“Nehi aayi mera aur Malharji ka to pyaar hi aisa hain hihihi” she gave a fake smile and mentally scolded herself for those glares.
“Haan shayad main hi zyada soch rahi hoon. Tum jao office aur jaldi chali aana, ready bhi hona hain engagement ke liye”
Kalyani got involved with her works and came back in the afternoon.
She got ready and came out of her room when she saw Malhar approaching from the gate.
They passed a look at each other when aaosaheb came to them and asked
“Arreh Accha hua tum dono yahan hi mil gaye… wo ghadi jo lane wale the aaj tum dono Ajinkya ke liye wo zara dikhao hume”
“Ghadi?!” They both said together.
“Ghadi to….
“Malharji laane wale the”
“Kalyani laane wali thi” they said together again.
Aaosaheb looked at them astonished.
“Matlab tum dono ghadi nehi laye?!”
“Nehi aaosaheb watch toh malharji laane wale the”
“Par aai ne subhe bola ki Kalyani layegi”
“Par Maine aapko bola tha parso ki aap layenge”
“Par fir aaj aayi ne bola…”
“Aayi ko kaise pata hoga ki maine aapko bola tha…. aap kyun nehi laye?”
“Poornaviram. Chup ho jao dono.”
They both stood there with hung face.
“Ab jo hua so hua. Nehi laye ghadi toh ab lao. Abhi bhi samay hain.”
“Ok main laata hoon Abhi”
“Nehi main ready hoon, main laati hoon.”
“Par khamakha tumhe takleef lene ki zaroorat nehi hain main laata hoon”
“Nehi Mathar its fi…”
“Arreh tum dono saath mein chale jao par ab yahan khade hokar behes mat karo!” Aaosaheb expressed her irritation.
Malhar got ready in 5 minutes and until then Kalyani got Moksh ready and they both left for bringing the ring.
They drove for 30 minutes until they reached the shop and picked the customised wrist watch they had ordered to gift Ajinkya on Goda-Ajinkya’s engagement. The return drive was going silent while Kalyani was scrolling her social media.
But suddenly…
“gadi rokiye.”
“Kya?”
“Mujhe bhook lagi hain gadi rokiye!!”
“Kalyani hum pohoch jayenge ghar 15 minute mein.”
“Nahi mujhe abhi wo chaat khani hain.” She showed the stall near the street.
“Kalyani abhi ye koyi time hain chaat khane ka?”
“Time toh aap waste kar rahe hain behes karke.”
“Ok laata hoon!”
“Nahi main laati hoon. Bilkul jaise mujhe pasand hain waise banake ke liye instructions dena hain.”
Malhar had no choice left. She quickly went and got her chaat in two minutes max.
“Mmmmm” Kalyani didn’t think once before making such noises after stuffing a spoonful of chaat into her mouth.
Malhar rolled his eyes and was about to start the car when Kalyani held a spoon in front of him
“Bohot yummy hain… aap bhi try karo”
Before he could reply, his mouth was stuffed with that spoon.
Malhar began panting in a fraction of second only to realise how spicy it was!!
“Kkk…kkallya..kKalyani!!!”
“Ye toh bohot teekha hain!”
“Arreh aapko itni mirchi bhi nehi bard aadhi hoti Malhar!” Kalyani’s smile has naughtiness.
“Arreh paani cheeni kuch to do mujhe” he said still sufferening.
“Wo mere paas ye chocolate…”
Saying this Kalyani showed him a ferrero rocher chocolate she had.
Malhar here thought he is gonna get it but before he could open his mouth, she instantly put it in her mouth without any further discussion.
“Kalyani!!”
“Sorry ek hi chocolate thi aur abhi ye mujhe khaani hain”
But then….
Kalyani just couldn’t resister what just happened.
She just could see and feel him sucking her lips and using his tongue to bring each partical of chocolate she had in her mouth.
She reciprocated as soon as she overcame her shock but till then, he was half-way of their mouth to mouth chocolate tasting session.
Almost five minutes passed since Kalyani was clutching his hair and he was bending towards to the passenger seat totally and bringing the chocolate from her mouth to his, with his tongue to taste, enjoy and calm his nerves after the intake excessive amount of spice.
He pulled back as the oxygen was immensely low and their heads were slightly spinning after the adrenaline rush.
They looked at each other for seconds. No matter how dabang she presents herself as, Kalyani was kinda shut after this encounter.
“Abhi “your order my command” kahan gaya acp sahab ka?” She murmured.
“Ye emergency situation thi. Ye count nehi hoga. Mujhse teekha bardaash nehi hota you know right?”
“Toh chocolate nehi doongi to aise chocolate lenge mujhse? Bahar se paani bhi laa sakhte the” Kalyani asked amused.
“Everything is fair in love and emergency, aur yahan dono hi hain” he winked and she unintentionally blushed hard while smiling. She tried to turn her face to the window to hide the smile but it evidently didn’t help much.
They reached home to the engagement ceremony in 15 minutes while Kalyani slowly fixed her lipstick which was smudged by now.
