4th March Written update

Hey guys,

I know this is a day late and Lavs has already put up the update for 5th March but I saw the video so thought I might as well have something up for the non-video watching members!😛

Highlights:

• Dadi tries to tell Jiya the truth
• Barkha tries to get Apu's attention
• Mahesh puts Jiya down in front of her friends

Update:

Apu arrives at Barkha's house and is surprised to see that she hasn't changed yet. Barkha acts irritably and Apu tries to get the problem out of her but she ends up annoying him. Apu is about to leave but Barkha stops him and apologises, promising that she'll get ready quickly.

Jiya's house…

Mahesh is making sure that the house looks good and tells Meetu to get some fresh flowers from the market. She asks for a Rs. 100 and he is shocked at the price and tells her to leave it before telling her to check on Jiya before her friends arrive. The bell rings but instead of Apu and Barkha, Mahesh is shocked to find Gopu [Naresh] holding a bunch of roses. Mahesh sends Jiya away who goes to Dadi and asks why Naresh arrived suddenly. Dadi evades the question and when Jiya insists, tells her to ask Mahesh instead. Jiya asks if anything is being hidden from her but before Dadi can tell her the turh, Mahesh comes in and tells Jiya to call her friends and see where they are.

Jiya leaves, Dadi tries talking to Mahesh but he pays no heed.

Jiya calls up Barkha and Apu picks up saying that they will be there soon. Jiya asks if he remembers the way and Apu smiles saying that he can never forget it – Barkha gives him a look.

RAD…

Kiran feels indebted to Rohan and says that she's shifting out of her cabin so that he can move in seeing as he needs a professional place to meet the actors for him film. Rohan stops her and convinces her to share with him instead of moving out all together.

House…

Barkha and Apu arrive and gift Mahesh a cake. He thanks them and says that this is western food and he will feed them pure desi stuff. He says that he had actually wanted to thank them for help. Jiya brings sherbert and both Barkha and Apu exchange glances. Barkha makes an excuse saying that she is full and will drink after sometime. Mahesh agrees but encourages poor Apu to drink – he takes a small sip and says it's lovely.

More food is layout and Apu and Barkha look stunned; unaware of how to get out of it especially as Mahesh says that he has made it specially for them. On Mahesh's scolding, Sadhana also encourages them to eat. Apu takes a bite and starts coughing at the taste of the chilli. Barkha remembers Rohan's advise and pretends not to care about Apu and watches as Jiya hands him some water and Barkha is upset that Apu is not paying attention.

Mahesh and Sadhana leave to check on the halwa and Jiya takes their plates and empties them. Mahesh and Sadha return and are surprised to see the empty plates.

Mahesh then introduces them to Meetu and praises her saying that she is well educated and has won many trophies. Eh compares her to Jiya saying that all she has is one certificate. Jiay looks upset and Barkha feels bad before making a joke that she doesn't even have one certificate.

Mahesh then forces Jiya to stand up in front of everyone and recite a poem about a wounded bird. Jiya feels uncomfortable but recites the poem and Sadhana becomes emotional.

Later…

Jiya is sitting in her room looking desolate. Appu tries to cheer her up and Jiya apologises for him anf Barkha having to sit through Mahesh's ranting and the poem. Apu says it's okay and adds that Jiya cares for her father a lot. He shares his own dreams about how he wants to become something big and make his father proud.

Just then Apu accidentally nudges Jiya's bag which falls on the floor and ghungroos fall out. At the same time Mahesh walks in.
