Konkona to sing

Konkona Sen Sharma will indulge in playback singing in her forthcoming film, 'Sunglass'. This is her third film with Rituparno Ghosh. Konkona plays a wacky woman with crazy powers. Prasoon Joshi has written the song.

When it comes to her personal life, actress Soha Ali Khan may not have had the best of times over the last few days. However, professionally, things seem to be looking good for the beautiful actress. Soha would be seen alongside talented actor Irrfan Khan in an untitled film co-produced by the Indian Film Company (Studio 18) and Shailesh Singh.

The film is directed by debutant director Anil Sr. and also stars Rahul Bose, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rahul Khanna and Payal Rohatgi in lead roles. Priti Sahani, senior V.P. Indian Film Company (Studio 18) revealed, "It's a light-hearted take on relationships today. We are looking at getting a suitable title that matches the genre of the film, its freshness and the ensemble cast that's come together.
Even the music of the film is really cool and composed by young and talented artistes." The film has Irrfan and Soha play a married couple while the glamorous Payal Rohatgi plays an aerobic instructor in the film.

So how much of the film is complete? "We will be ready to release the film by September- October this year" signs off Priti.

Is this true or rumor?

Konkona caught Ranvir red-handed at a common friend's party a few weeks ago. Drinks were being served and everyone was chatting when Konkona realized that she was all alone. Where was Ranvir? She went searching for him and it took her quite some time to find him - in the arms of another girl in one of the rooms!

No, this is not true. I think the article was around the beginning of 06, and it is by the infamous Vickey Lalwani. In fact it was reputedly proven false. I think personally the girl has enough of a backbone to walk out if she was cheated upon. Her reaction on KWK to it pretty much summed up the situation where she said she felt ashamed for them for making up such a story. There was an article I think in TOI where someone (an actor) who chose to keep himself anonymous said that they are still together. Also I remember it was before Traffic Signal so I don't they would have been taken together for a film if they had the bad blood between them.

Well, thank you. Thanks to Google stalking, I can do that. But there was this site, unfortunately it has been inactive since February 7th. My guess since the guy is a college student, it would probably be hard to always be up to date.

That's true. I am really excited for Luck by Chance opposite Farhan Akhtar as well as Sunglass opposite Madhavan. Right Ya Wrong, she has a strong supporting role as a lawyer. But I feel Sunny and Isha in the film are not the best in the acting department. Also she had not seen any of Sunny's films before signing is what she said so the end product will be interesting to say the least. Did you see Apne, the guy who directed Right Ya Wrong directed that before? If so, what did you think? It looked dumb to me in the promo as well as a bit racist.
