Kritiis a doting daughter of Ketan Malhotra who owns 7 star hotel tropical Paradise. Long back his close associate and friend Mr Vijay Mehra with malicious intentions to grab the property uses the affections of kid Kriti to make her father sign some papers. These are transfer of property papers. Mr Malhotra files a court case and for years the case goes on. As time passes Kriti grows up. Sadly on final hearing they lose the case. Their lawyer tells Kriti to get original docs which will help them prove the fraud. Kriti catches hold of an Adv by Tropical Paradise for trainees. Kriti decides to join them but hides her identity and goes by the name Kathy. Kathy has a key which she wears around her neck.
Parminder Kaur (Pams)is a beautiful girl who is engaged to a dhaba owner Happy Singh in Patiala. But she has big dreams of marrying a rich guy and settling down. She threatens Happy Singh that she will break off the engagement if he doesn't allow her to go. She also convinces her parents with her sweet talk.
Riddhima (Ri)is tomboyish and tapori girl. She is street smart & brave. Always landing in trouble still she wants to help in earning. Her mother works for Tropical Paradise and retires she decides to work there too. Her younger brother is studying in hostel. Ri has many dues to pay off to shady people who are after her and she promises to get some foreign liquor.
Gajrais a demure & quiet girl who has love for music. Her mother dies leaving a letter abt her father. Her mausi tells her that her father didn't marry her mother and left her in tribulations. He is responsible for all their wretchedness. All quesd her abt her father &often she was always called names. Mausi tells her that her father is a great singer Pandit Girija Shankar Vyas and currently is at the Tropical Paradise for a concert. Gajra decides to meet her father and get her his rightful name.
Karanson of Mr Vijay Mehra isn't deemed capable by his father and has to constantly prove himself. Mr Mehra has married a much younger woman who doesn't like Karan and tries to humiliate him often. Mr Mehra has given the charge of hotel to Karan for six months and if he shows profits then he will continue or else he will sell off the hotel. Karan confides all his feelings with his cousin Abhishek, cousin (his mother's brother's son-mama ka beta). Karan is often lost in thoughts of his childhood friend Kriti and is apparently in love with her. He does try mentioning the Malhotra to his father who rebukes him often.
The story so far
After facing roadblocks the foursome reach the hotel and give the interview. Kriti lands into trouble with Karan Mehra hence he doesn't take her interview. Abhishek feels Karan actually likes Kathy but is unable to accept. Karan shares with him that he loves his childhood mate Kriti who made him stronger and despite their parents enmity he will always be her friend. Later Kathy (Kriti)meets Mr Vijay Mehra & is impressed with her. He takes her interview. They are short listed but the management tells them they need only 3 trainees and they have to select the one to be rejected. The foursome do a vote out and Gajra is the unlucky one. Gajra dejected runs out and the other three follow her when Kathy sees Gajra in the swimming pool & jumps to save her. Kathy starts to drown as Gajra saves and pulls out. Kathy promises to get her job in the hotel. The three stay in the hotel and start their duties under supervision of Ms Anaida. Pams finds Karan attractive and sees him as a good proposition. But Kathy has lied to her parents abt her job. She has told them that she works in a school. Kathy and Gajra develop a bond and Gajra tells her that Panditji is her father. Ri and Pam share a room but are always at loggerheads. Meanwhile Abhishek falls for Gajra who tells him she wants to listen to Panditji's concert. Abhishek promises to make arrangements for the same. During the concert there is some problem with the sound system and Gajra rectifies it. Kathy proposes Karan to give Gajra the job he accepts on the condition that the salary wld be evenly distributed. All trainees accept it. Mrs Mehra suspects Kathy and feels jealous of Mr Mehra's interest in her. She makes Pam find out abt her background. Pam then searches her room but doesn't find any clue. Mr Mehra decides to throw out Malhotra from his house too so that he can never pose any problem. A court notice is sent to vacate the house and Kathy's mother informs her. Kathy who has been keeping an eye on Mr Mehra sees him going into the outhouse which is alleged to be haunted. Kathy feels that the outhouse may contain the papers so she must make a visit there. Gajra is assigned room service in Panditji's room where she impresses Panditji who in turn blesses her and gives her money too. Gajra is tearful but happy. Ri is threatened by the goons to get the money or else they will her mother. Pam is pressurized by Mrs Mehra to find info abt Kathy or else she will be in trouble. Pam tries to check Kathy's mobile but right at the opportune moment Anaida comes and her effort is lost. Kathy is assigned duty at kitchen and unfortunately there is a delay and she is blamed. Kathy gets frustrated and tells them she is ready to share the punishment. Gajra meets Abhishek and tells him that all are to be blamed and why shd Kathy alone share the blame. Abhishek promises to help on the condition that she will go out on date with her. Gajra demurely agrees. Karan talks with Kathy and challenges her to stay overnight alone in the outhouse and if she does he will increase their salaries and also give her an apology letter. Kathy accepts it hiding her happiness. Abhishek elated tells Karan that the mgt was also at fault and if don't compromise the employees wont give their best to the hotel. Karan agrees and next he tells abt his dinner date with Gajra. Abhishek is eagerly awaiting his date when Karan tells him abt the challenge. Abhishek suggests he end his enmity and go on a date with Kathy. Ri lifts off some liquor bottles and runs to escape from the guards landing up in the outhouse. Karan feels worried abt Kathy and decides to go to the outhouse. Pam sees him going there and feels Kathy may win over Karan and she will lose the rich guy. Pam decides to check on them and goes to the outhouse. Meanwhile Kathy is searching for clues at the outhouse. Karan meets Kathy and tells her he is calling off the challenge and he will increase their salaries too. In case her father sees her there then he will fire her and he wont be able to help her. Just then Mr Mehra enters the outhouse. Both rush up and hide behd the wall. Mr Mehra goes down below and Kathy follows him sneaking away from Karan's sight. Kathy sees the secret locker of Mr Mehra behind a painting and he is keeps some papers inside it. Mr Mehra leaves and bumps into Abhishek-Gajra. He fumes at them for breaking rules and punishes Abhishek (Abhi) by taking off all the executive privileges and Gajra to do night duty. Kathy & Karan overhear this convo. Meanwhile Pam falls down and her foot gets stuck in fence wire but she thinks it's a ghost. Mr Mehra, Abhi-Gajra reach there and Pam holds Mr Mehra feet and keeps blabbering. Gajra and Abhi help her and then Mr Mehra punishes her by making her stay in the cold outside. Karan asks Kathy if she has a candle and Kathy gives him which he lights up with a lighter. In the candle light Karan is attracted to Kathy who then asks him to leave but Karan fidgets and takes out peanuts and offers her too. Kathy wanting to stay takes off her earring and tells him she will go and search meanwhile he can keep an eye. Kathy quickly goes in near the secret locker and tries to check but Karan calls her. She then joins him but as they are trying to find a way out Karan in his attempt to open a window accidentally hits the shower valve and Kathy gets wet. Karan offers Kathy his jacket and both get lost into each others eyes. Kathy then excuses herself to go to room inside. She rushes towards the secret and opens it with a key but inside there is a numerical combination lock which she opens with her presence of mind and intelligence. Kathy takes out the papers and puts them inside the jacket. Karan comes there and asks her what she is doing there. Kathy says she was appreciating a painting. Karan then opens a window and tells Kathy they need to jump down. Karan jumps first and promises to catch Kathy. But when she jumps both fall down and keep on rolling. Both are attracted to each other. Pam asks Ri to sneak her back into the room or she will inform Mr Mehra abt her exploits. Ri agrees. As Abhishek and Gajra get close after dinner, Panditji sees them and gets furious. Gajra gets anxious that now he will hate her. Kathy returns to her room to find everything is in order but her clothes are back in cupboard. She understands someone checked the room again. Mr Mehra is at Malhotra's residence when the lawyer informs that the court has given stay orders and they need not vacate the house. Next day Anaida complains to Karan that under his charge there are lot of problems in the hotel and the trainees are irresponsible and she will complain to Mr Mehra. Karan tries to calm her down. Mr Mehra checks the secret locker and feels frustrated to find that papers are missing. He concludes that he needs to find Kriti asap. Later he tells Karan that he needs her help for finding Kriti. Karan is happy that his father has asked him something & bumps into Kathy and blabbers Kriti. Meanwhile Pam notes the res nos of Kathy from her mobile no and informs Mrs Mehra who is happy and schemes she will put Kthy down and throw our Pam later on. Gajra avoids Abhi and Karan asks Abhi to help find Kriti. Kathy overhears this and is in a fix what to do.
