I don't understand why she is called a SHAHEED? Could someone please explain to me. I thought a 'shaheed' is someone who dies whilst participating in a war for his/her religion.. giving their life for their religion. In what way did benazir die whilst protecting her religion or doing something for her religion?

I know that people are also considered shaheed if they die while protecting their country.. but she wasn't protecting her country.. she was carrying out a rally out of her own will.. for her own good and gain.

Also, as she is said to have been shaheed.. why did they bathe her body? (Sherry rehman claims to have seen the bullet wound when washing her body..) I thought in islam, the body of a shaheed is not to be washed and should be burried immediately..?

yeah nawaz sharif does seem to be abit too eager to get to the hospital.. in rawalpindi.. and her grave...in sindh.. and her house... in karachi considering the fact that he is her ENEMY..and opponent.
