Well, almost all of us here have our favorite songs, movies, books, etc.
To make things interesting and different, how about we all share our favorite hadith in this topic? 😛

everything said by our beloved hazoor saw is great and u cant really choose between your favorite hadiths...because all of them r sooo great and they tell u eveything about life,religion etc.. just everything!

but if i had to choose,i would def. go with

Look After Your Parents Well

"A man came to the Prophet (sa) and said:'I want to take an oath with you, to emigrate and fight in the Cause of Allah, seeking my reward from Him.'

The Prophet (sa) asked 'Are either of your parents alive?'

The man replied: 'Yes, both of them.'

Then the Prophet (sa) asked him: 'Are you seeking a reward from Allah?'

To this the man replied: 'Yes.'

So the Prophet (sa) said: 'Then return to your parents and serve them well'"

We are also informed: "A man came to ask for permission to participate in the fighting.

The Prophet (sa) asked him: 'Are your parents alive?'

The man replied: 'Yes.'

So he told him: 'Then your striving is in serving them, that service is equal to fighting.'"

{Ref. 321 Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to Abdullah the son of Amr, son of Al 'As (s) who related this.}

TO SERVE UR PARENTS (OLD) IS LIKE BUYING JANNAT FOR URSELF!!

ok my fav hadith is
"Wo shaks hum mein se nahi jo humare chootun per raham na kare aur baroon ka adab na kare"

my favourite.

"jis nay doka keya vo ham mai sai nahi"

A few Hadiths..

"It is better for a leader to make a mistake in forgiving than to make a mistake in punishing." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1011
"Righteousness is good morality, and wrongdoing is that which wavers in your soul and which you dislike people finding out about." An-Nawawi's "Forty Hadith," Hadith 27.
"(Each one) of you should save himself from the fire by giving even half of a date (in charity). And if you do not find a half date, then (by saying) a pleasant word (to your brethren)." Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 394.
"It is a fine thing when a believer praises and thanks God if good comes to him, and praises God and shows endurance if smitten by affliction. The believer is rewarded for (every good action), even for the morsel he raises to his wife's mouth." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 537.
"You have seen nothing like marriage for increasing the love between two people." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 921.
"By his good character, a believer will attain the degree of one who prays during the night and fasts during the day." Abu Dawood, Hadith 2233.

PROPHET (PBUH) SAID
qiamat ki nshanion mein se aik yeh bhi hai ke koi shahas kisi dosray ko jan pehchan ki buniad pe salam kare na ke muslman honey ki buniad pe

well one of my all time fav. hadith is Allah ki Chahat:

"ek teri chahat hai aur ek meri chahat
mager ho ga wohi jo meri chahat hai
ager tu ne kar deya hawaleh kud ko us ke jo meri chahat hai
tu main deh don ga tuj ko wo bi jo teri chahat hai
aur ager tun chala us pah keh jo teri chahat hai tu
tu main tahka don ga tuj ko us main jo teri chahat hai
Ho ga wohi keh jo meri chahat hai"

Aj hum main se ketna loog hain jo Allah ki chahat pah chalte hain.... chalna tu dur ki baat hai aaj hum loog Allah ki chaht ko janteh bi nahi hain

very nice post fariha... I love that kind of topics... actually I don't know much about Hadiath and I really wana know...that's a very nice topic to share our knoweldge about Islam...
