There is a party on at Abhi's house to celebrate Poonam's new job with Astha nursing home. The entire family is there including Simran, Abhi's parents and Neha's mother.
Talk is going on about Simran finding a replacement for Manas.
Someone states that Simran is finding it difficult to find a replacement because she is trying to find another Manas.
Abhi asks her to call Manas back. She gets upset and says no. Abhi tells her that her ego is getting in the way.
At this Simran literally blows up and says that she is not going to tolerate any talk of Manas any longer and if anyone even mentions Manas to her, she will not have anything to do with that person. And she walks out of the party leaving everyone gaping.
Neha is upset at this behavior of Simran. Everyone is upset. Abhi's parents are surprised at Simrans behavior. Abhi tries to defend her actions.
Neha is upset with him. In front of everyone, tells him to stop defending Simran time and again. She tells him that Simran keeps acting out of line and he keeps defending her. Abhi tells her to understand. She says what is she supposed to understand, that Simran is upset. She has been listening to this for ever now. And hereon she does not want to hear anything about Simran ever and she walks out. Abhi's father tells him to go to Neha.
Rashmi is in bed worried. Pranay asks her why is she worried. Rashmi is wondering why Simran went overboard since she is so controlled and calm normally. Pranay tells her that according to him it is the word 'ego' used by Abhi that hurt her deeply. She did not expect this from Abhi.
Rashmi tells Pranay that she will talk to Simran. Pranay tells her not to do that. Simran will realize her mistake on her own.
Simran is in her room thinking back on what she did. She is feeling guilty on losing her temper and hurting other people.
Neha is upset in bed. She tells Abhi that she does not want to hear or talk about anything to do with Simran and he need not convince her since she knows she is not wrong in her decision.
Abhi's phone rings. It is Simran. Both are holding the phone and not speaking. Simran apologizes to him for her actions and asks him to forgive her. He says that he too was at fault. Simran says that she wants to talk to Neha and apologies to her too. Neha refuses to take the phone. Abhi tells Simran that Neha is sleeping.
Abhi is upset with Neha for refusing to take the phone. They have an argument and Abhi takes his pillow and goes out to sleep on the sofa. Radha is listening and watching all this and is very disturbed.
It is morning and Simran is looking for her car keys. Mr. Mathur helps her out. She tells him to have breakfast and tells him she is leaving. He insists that she not leave without eating. He then inquires if there was any tension at Abhi house last evening. She leaves her breakfast half eaten, gives her father a dirty look and walks out.
Neha is putting b'fast at home. She stands in front of Abhi to invite him. They are not on talking terms. Abhi looks at her and walks away.
Radha asks her what is the matter. She advises her daughter not to stretch things too much and that she too had spoken a bit too much. Neha shouts at her mother not to interfere and that she has not much experience with married life. Radha is shocked and apologizes. Neha realizes her mistake and apologizes but it is too late and Radha walks out.
Abhi is at Simran's office. Neha calls up Abhi to ask him what she should cook for dinner. He says whatever, and not to wait for him, he will be late.
Simran walk in, and he apologizes for what happened last night. She tells him that Neha must have felt bad. Abhi tells her not to bother about her.
Neha is taking advice from Poonam. She tells her that she should take care. Poonam tells her that though what she said was right, the occasion was not and if she continues to overreact he will move away from her and towards Simran.
Abhi returns, and immediately sits on the sofa and starts watching TV. Neha asks him for coffee he refuses in clipped tones and walks away.
It is night and Abhi and Neha are in bed. Abhi is looking at a Barbie doll. Neha asks him if he is remembering Astha. He puts the doll down, glances at Neha and without speaking to her goes to sleep.
