ummmm ...guys...i agree that things like open realationships r happening..but thats not even 1 percent in pakistan... and even that is among the uber elite.....
overall there is more openess yes... but not the stuff they r showing on the idiot box these days... its misleading and stupid... and im not just talking about pakistani serials...
every where the media is potraying a kind of twisted image of thier culture.. u look at indian serials and someone who doesnt live in india is gonna think that all the indian women wear kanjiwar saris and can effortlesly shift roles from housewife to tycoons...and just as easily shift husbands...every middle class girl has values while if u have money..chances r u r either a brat or a corrupt idiot whos only purpose in life is to do a paris hilton.....which is not tru....
u look at hollywood and the impression u get is that american society is all about corporate world, sex,drugs and godlesness...which it isnt....more then 60% american r married by the time they r 30...go figure... and the bible belt that votes for bush is actually in millions, and they have a code of conduct and morals.. but the shows on tv and movies only give us the fantasy that doesnt happen to most ppl...we r made to belive that the paris hilton lifestyle is wat matters and thats wat we should aspire to... 😕 🤢
and i wont even start on the pakistani serials...we seem to b stuck in a limbo...cant decide whether to go bollywood or ektaland or hollywood... so we make a khichdi..and voila... feed it to the masses so much that eventually ppl start beliving thats wat life is like...
