MUMBAI: Renowned and eminent cricketer, Kapil Dev, is our special guest for this week (Saturday's episode). Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 celebrates Independence Day Special! Kapil Dev gets very emotional on the sets and enlightens everyone on India & Pakistan's relations. Be it culture, people, habits etc. everything is same but the only thing that separates us is the border. This episode being Independence Day special, all the contestants pay tribute to their mother land by singing patriotic songs. When we asked the Pakistani participants, Amanat Ali, Junaid Sheikh & Mussarat Abbas, to sing Indian patriotic songs for Independence Day special; they refused to do so. We did respect their decision on this and finally they sang Pakistani patriotic songs.
