ACTUALLY......Dracula is based on a real life Romanian Prince named Vlad Tepes Dracula also known as Vlad The Impaler. He was a ruthless person who punished anybody who got in his way. He most favorite punishment was called "Impalement" where he would impale the prisoners on a huge stick and watch them slowly bleed to death. he would then drink their blood. Bram Stocker's Dracula was inspired by him.

Hmm...I haven't heard of this. But Bram Stoker was the creator of Dracula and his inspiration came from Vlad.
