Ria tells Manas that she had got involved with an older married man
when she was 17 and it had resulted in the birth of her daughter,
much against the wishes of her family who had disowned her. The man
had also migrated to Australia and not known about the child.
However, Ria had decided to bring up the child and prove it to
everyone that she could do it. Manas is shocked and he leaves before
Ria can complete. He goes and tells Simran all about it who tells
her that he shouldn't let it affect him since Ria was only his
lawyer and she had done something gallant. Manas goes back to Ria
and tells her that he understands her and admires her. She is
convinced and relaxed. Some policemen ransack Ria's office in the
meanwhile and she is called names. Ria gets a statement recorded
from the Jailor wherein he confesses that he has got her office
ransacked and armed with this Ria goes to court the next day. She
presents the case convincingly and wins it. Everyone is happy.
