Kkuch Ankahiin Baateiin 1st Story: NAGIN

Amar, Vinay, Rajeev, Kunal, Veer, and Dev are six friends who are planning a surprise party tonight at their farm house for their other friend Vijay who is coming back from London this evening. The six friends wants everything perfect for the party so that Vijay can have a good time. Vinay goes to receive Vijay at the airport. On their way back home, the car stops in the middle of the road.

Vinay: DAMN IT!! Is waqt gadi ko bhi kharab hona tha!! Aur vo bhi…vo bhi..is jungle mein!

Vijay: Yaar..yaha to door door tak koi deekhai nahi deraha! Yaha pe mechanic milna to bohaut mushily hai.

Vinay: Ek minute (takes out his phone) main kisi ko phone karke help mangta hoon! (tries to call his friends) DAMN IT WORK!! (throws the phone away) Yaha pe signal nahi hai!!

Vijay: Ek kaam kar, tu..tu wapas main road pe jake kisi mechanic ko lekar aah…tab tak main yahan gadi ke saath rehta hoon.

Vinay: Pagal hai kya?!?! Tera deemag theek hai na? Tujhe is jungle mein main akela chodke jaoon?

Vijay: Haan to ismein budayi kya hai?

Vinay: Dekh yaar…yeh London nahi..Mumbai ka jungle hai..yaha kuch bhi ho sakta hai..murder, chori, yaha tak ki..is jungle mein bhoot bhi ho sakta hai!!

Vijay: WHAT NONSENSE?!?! Kuch nahi hoga mujhe yaar…tu ja!

Vinay: Dekh main…

Vijay: Arre maine kaha na kuch nahi hoga…now go!

Vinay: Theek hai…lekin agar kuch hua na..to dosh mujhe maat dena!

Vinay goes to look for a mechanic leaving Vijay alone in the car. Vijay had nothing to do but wait. All of a sudden he hears a female voice humming. It stops all of a sudden and Vijay thought he was imaging it. The humming starts again. Vijay now gets out of his car and tries to see who is singing the song. He starts to follow the humming and then it stops again. All of a sudden Vijay hears a guy yelling for help as he's being attacked by vultures. Vijay quickly goes there and saves the guy. The guy thanks him for saving his life and asks him what he is doing in this jungle. Vijay tells him how his car broke down and his friend went looking for a mechanic. The guy tells Vijay that he shouldn't be out here in this jungle especially tonight. When Vijay asked what's wrong with the jungle, the guy tells him that tonight is the night of Amavas when the icchadhari nag and nagin join together to celebrate the night by dancing and singing. Vijay tells him that he doesn't believe in all this stuff and says its all ancient mythology. The guy smiles tells Vijay to just wait and watch happens. Right in front of Vijay's eyes, the guy turns into a cobra.

Vijay: Iska matlab…tum…tum..ek nag ho?

Nag: Haan babuji…main ek icchadhari naag hoon. Aur aap agar chahein to yeh bhi kuch ghante baad dekh sakte hai…ke ek icchadhari nag aur nagin kaise amavas ki raat mein kuchi se naachte hain aur gaatein hain.

The nag goes away and Vijay slowly follows him and hides behind a tree and watches the nag take the human form again and meeting his nagin. Just as Vijay was about to go to them, Vinay came there and asked what the hell he's doing here. Vijay tells Vinay that he wants to share something with him.

Vinay: Arre baba…jo kuch bhi kehna chahta hai…vo farm house jake party mein kehna!

Vijay: Paar yaar…

Vinay: Oh God! Paar waar kuch nahi yaar tu chal!

At the party, everyone starts laughing at Vijay's story. None of his friends are willing to believe what Vijay saw in the jungle.

Vijay: Arre tum log mere baat pe haas kyun rahein ho yaar??!?! Maine jo kuch bhi dekha vo sab saach hai!

Amar: Kya yaar tu bhi! Hum aise kaise manle ke ek saap jab chahe insaan ka roop dharan karsakta hai…aur jaab chahe phirse vo nag ya naagin bajatein hai! Yeh kaise ho sakta hai yaar?

Rajeev: Haan yaar it's impossible!! Yeh ho hi nahi sakta..espically aaj kaal ke generation par!

Just then Vijay hears the humming again and this time, he's sure it's the nagin that's humming.

Vijay: Tum logo ko…tum logo ko us ladki ki awaz sunayi de rahein na?

Kunal: Haan yaar…lekin itni raat ko…ek ladki..jungle mein kya kar rahi hai?

Vijay: Aao tum sab mere saath…sab apne aakhon se dekhlena!

Veer: Kya dekhenge yaar?

Vijay: Chalo to mere saath!

They all reach the place in the jungle where the humming was coming from and sees a girl dancing and singing wearing a reddish and goldenish lehenga. All her ornaments were made in the desing of the cobra's body whith the hood.

Veer: Yaar…yeh ladki…yaha…is jungle mein…akeli..naach rahi hai aur gaa bhi rahi hai?!?!

Rajeev: Zaroor koi bhoot hai.

Vijay: Guys! Shut up!

As the girl dances, Veer notices a snake coming right towards her. He takes out his gun and shoots the snake. The girl and the snake both disappears.

Vijay: Goli kisne chalai?

Veer: Maine!

Vijay: Kyun?

Veer: Arre agar maine goli nahi chalaya hota to vo saap us ladki ko das leti.

Vijay: Vo ladki nahi nagin thi…aur jis nag ko tumne goli mara hai..maine usika jaan kuch ghante pehele bachaya!

Rajeev: Aab kya karein? Gun se nikla hua goli to wapas nahi aasakti!

Vijay: Jis tarha gun se nikla hua goli wapas nahi asakti…theek usi tarha nagin ka badla kabi tal nahi sakta! Kehte hai marne wale nag ki aankh mein us quatil ke tasveer rahe jate hai..aur nagin us waqt takh chayen se nahi bayethti jab takh vo badla na le!

Amar: To ab kya karein?

Vijay: Rajeev ko bachane ka ek hi rastaan hai..hum sabko abhi us nag ko dhund ke mitti mein daba dena hoga…ya phir jaladena hoga taque vo nagin uske aankh mein Rajeev ki tasveer nahi dekh sake!

They all are looking for the dead nag, but missed it. Unfortunetley for them, the nag has captured all their faces in his eyes while they were looking for him. A few moments later, the nagin comes out from the darkness to loor for her nag and sees him lying on the ground bleeding and in deep pain!

Nagin: (running towards nag) NAHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!! (crying)Bouhat dard ho raha hai na?

Nag: (in pain) Dard….marne ka nahi…tumse…tumse..bichar ne ka horaha hai. Humne…humne….isi raat ka hazaor saal se intezar…kiya tha..humari suhag ki raat…lekin….lekin…un shaitanone…humari Milan ki raat ko….maut ki raat…bana dala…jiska……jiska…koi…koi savera nahi (dies).

Nagin: (Cries) Nahiin!! TUM MUJHE CHODKE NAHI JA SAKTE!! (looking up in anger) Mujhe tumhari pyaar ki kasam!! Main ek ek se badla loongi tumhari maut…aur aapne ujhre hue suhag ka! (turns naags face towards her and sees the pictures of those who were involved in the murder) Aab tum sab tayar ho jao…apne maut ke liye!
