Kajol and Kriti Sanon the leading ladies of the upcoming Netflix film Do Patti, recently attended the trailer launch wherein they revealed the trailer of the film. The trailer launch event included a question and answer segment by the journalists and reported with the star cast. However, one question posed to Kajol seemingly annoyed her and she responded with her signature wit and candour. The actress, who has lately been in the news for her rude and unpleasant behaviour in public, snapped back at a journalist calling his query a silly question.
A few days back, Kajol was seen getting mad and yelling at devotees and media personnel at her family’s Durga Puja Pandal in Juhu. Her behaviour did not go well with netizens, and many of them dubbed her as a version of Jaya Bachchan.
Given that the story of Do Patti circles around the concept of betrayal and lies, a journalist asked Kajol if she has ever dealt with betrayal in life. The question did not go well with her.
Kajol dodged the question in her own straightforward signature style. She said, “Don’t be daft. I am not going to share an anecdote. It is too personal. If it is a betrayal, it is too personal. Obviously, I will not (share the details).
She was accompanied by her co-stars Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh at the event. After shutting down the reporter, Kajol turned towards her co-stars and asked them if they wanted to share any personal incident of betrayal. They too refused to share.
Kajol further went on to say, “We cannot share anecdotes on this topic. But we can tell you that betrayal is something that everyone experiences. If we’ve grown up as an adult, you feel it as a child sometimes, you feel it as a teenager, you will feel it as an adult and at some point in your life for sure. Otherwise, you haven’t lived life at all or you’ve been under a tree somewhere. Yes, we’ve all felt betrayal and I think we’ve portrayed it nicely also in the film.”
