PAK Women Innings

13.3 Athapaththu to Aliya Riaz, OUT

Chamari on a hat-trick! Huge wicket for Sri Lanka. Fires in a full length delivery on the middle stump, Riaz, the finisher, misses the line trying to put this towards leg side, gets hit on front pad. Pakistan review this but there is no bat involved. Looks plumb, and yes, umpire confirms it. Riaz has to depart

Aliya Riaz lbw b Athapaththu 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

PAKW 116 (20)

CRR: 5.8

Innings Break

A superb cameo from skipper Fatima Sana has helped Pakistan post 116 on the board after they looked like they might be bundled out for an embarassing score at one point. They just didn't get partnerships going, losing three wickets in the powerplay and going at less than six an over. Omaima Sohail and Nida Dar gave some impetus with scores of 18 and 23 respectively, but they too fell to the spin choke of Sri Lanka. Fatima Sana came out and played some big shots to give her team a fighting chance in this game.

Anushka Sanjeewani: Really happy about my performance, I think this is a good pitch. They (our bowlers) bowled really well. I think this is a good total to chase. I am really happy to see the Sri Lankan crowd, thank you so much for coming here.
