A troop of monkeys saved a six-year-old girl from a rape attempt.

Certain animals display traits that are beyond human comprehension, particularly in their compassion and love, and they will never stop trying to save the victims when they think it is necessary.

A hapless little girl was recently rescued by a troop of monkeys from an attack by a monstrous creature known as a human!

These monkeys saved the girl without any personal gain in mind, in contrast to the disturbing recent trend of many thoughtless onlookers preferring to film crimes to make those viral on social media, rather than saving the victims.

In Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat, a troop of monkeys reportedly saved a six-year-old girl from a rape attempt. A man lured the child to an abandoned house and tried to assault her before being chased away by the monkeys. Police are using the POCSO Act to look into the incident, and the suspect is still at large.

Given the reasons we already know, it is highly unlikely that the police will ever find the offender!

The girl's father told TOI that she was playing outside when the man came and lured her away. He also informed that the accused was caught in the CCTV camera, however, his identity is yet to be known. "He also threatened my child that he would kill me. My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened," the father said.

Harish Bhadioria, a local police officer, said they are investigating the incident “involving monkeys”.

A complaint has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he said.

But, let us appreciate the good efforts of these angel monkeys who stood there to save the life of an innocent girl.

Animals are our constant companions, bringing joy to us with their antics, listening to our problems patiently, and oftentimes saving us from unforeseen perils. Though we may not be able to communicate with words, animals have so much to teach us about compassion and love.

When will we be able to appreciate and value protecting the lives of our fellow humans/citizens?

Why are rapes so rampant in recent times??

I don't know how true this is and how true it isn't, but I will say one thing - if this is true, once again animals have proven that they are more humane than humans are. These monkeys understood something was going wrong and saved a little girl from a monster. We can't even call these humans animals because that is an insult to animals. They are monsters. Period.

It is true, Shreya. As you said, animals proved that they are more humane than the cruel humans.

Well said. The animals demonstrated their innate ability to recognize the distress call and sprang to the little girl's rescue.

What's happening to the world?smiley21Firstly rapes so rampant and then a six year oldsmiley3...... How low can men get?smiley7

And what's the use of Police department; if they cannot identify the person after seeing his image on CC capture?

Bhayander, Mumbai mein kissi ne Dhruv Rathi ka video wassapp pe share kiya toh, the person was put in jail by the policesmiley24

All this is identified immediately but not any protection or surveillance for women and girls protection???.......

A number of rape cases in India in the past few months have put a spotlight on the issue of gender-based attacks in the country. Experts say deep-seated patriarchy has created a "second-class" status for women in India.

A rape is a brutal and heinous crime. But sadly in India, a rape also becomes a political issue, with the dynamics of religion, caste, and misogyny shaping the public debate/ outrage over the problem

The Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi said that she would endeavour to make an amendment to the POCSO (Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences) Act and would campaign for the death penalty in cases of rape of children below 12 years of age. What a meaningless statement?!!

The minister's statement did not appear to be well-thought-out. Rather, it seemed to be pandering to the masses.

Nothing will change in India if things continue in the direction they are going right now. The anger, outrage, and indignation are not enough. We need schools, colleges, social organizations, and even political parties to educate and sensitise civil society. A rape is a brutal and heinous crime. Period.
