I feel like everything comes with a cost.....man are given upper hand because they take major responsibilities......smiley16Family laws means custody, alimony and other property related stuffs.....and mental health of guys in 21st century, we still don't accept the movement "Men can cry"....and many more areas where there are reservations and special space given to ladies without any basic moral grounds.....

Men created all the problems for women in the first place. If there were no workplace bullying created by men, there would have been no POSH act, if men hadn't given false promises on marriage, there would have been no BNS 69.

Now men are falling in the trap they created for women.

I blame on old school thoughts somehow...we have seen how women were treated in the earlier times....she was considered a trash and only means of producing children and near the chulha.....in Marathi we say " Randha vadha ushti kadha" means you just do all jobs like a slave and take all the shit being served at you....that was how women were for men earlier . Unfortunately it's still not changed.

I remember one dialog of Mardaani 2 here....if a man works day and night then ohh God how much he works and if the same job is done by a woman then why is she working still so much...zaroor kuch baat hai...I mean we will never be able to come over this thought even ages ahead..

Ek din kabhi to aayega.....

Not because men take major responsibilities, but because women were not given major responsibilities. Society divided chores based on men and women. If men were given household work and women driving by the society, then women would have been given major responsibilities. And women's responsibilities aren't minor, they also run a goddam household. Some men still don't know how the household is run especially in joint families.

Family laws means custody, alimony and other property related stuffs.....and mental health of guys in 21st century, we still don't accept the movement "Men can cry"....

Again due to patriarchy and society related segregation. Women are given "nurterer" tag that they can handle the child better, so obviously custody would be preferred to mother than a father.

Alimony: Many in-laws don't let women work after marriages, and getting a job as a woman is tougher than getting a job as a man. Imagine having a work gap and being women, you can't get a sales job easily. Even in marketing placements, men are preferred to women because they think men can handle a field better than women.

Second comes the pay gap, it's still huge between men and women. So that's why in Alimony case, women are given the receiver. Mind it, there are cases where women provide to jobless men.

Property: You know in India the Inheritance of ancestral Property law for women came in 2005. It's not still 20 years where women were allowed by law to inherit properties of their fathers. Even now, the brothers while dividing the property, instead of giving land or share, give equivalent or even less amount of money, which doesn't appreciate as much as a land does.

Mental health and "men can cry": are created by men only. Why do they seek validation of women? Why not other men can comfort them? Men themselves don't care about other men's mental health, make fun if they cry and then seek validation from women, as if we don't have other battles to fight.

Because of the inequality created by men..simple..still not more than 30%-40% women are participating in the workforce. A woman can't even safely travel in a bus or train, without being sl&tshamed, cat called, molested that's why there are reservations. Women aren't allowed to participate in politics, how they're sl@tshamed is easily found in sm platforms that's why there are reservations.. Women aren't hired by corporates easily because of physical problems, age, marital status etc. that's why there are reservations in corporates, after 12th many family things it's a waste to educate a woman further while spending more money, that's why there are seats reserved or subsidized rates are present.

My replies are given in bold. You can present your counter opinion

Andy I know the basic structure of how this things are coming upon- as what all you wrote about for.....from laws, education to societal aspects and how women were treated as materials and still in many areas it's normal......so yeah they have arranged the system in a way where women get upper hand......

My simple point of discussion wasn't with the motive why all these??? Instead why not the opposite side, where men who get indirectly targeted for no reason should be taken care of.....

I can write so many things in the context of your message, for ex patriarchy that where was this equality from thousands of years where you just choose slavery and other questions too......but it will end up as baseless arguments, so just wanted to ask why feminism is just a one sided path when actually a social movement works with give and take process- it's a cyclic game.....if you want social, economic, political growth then it will cost you many things too.....so why not them????

Just say for a while I say men make fun of mental health of others it's not just us it's the whole spectrum which align its focus over fake masculinity......at one side you will see woman asking support as they are victim of male dominant world and the same woman using the same principles against man......smiley29

Exactly. Men created problems and when it backfired they're crying foul. On one side they want a wife who will look after their family but then go out and have an affair and blame their wives for being home makers and old fashioned. They want to have the cake and eat it too.

When a woman does all the house hold chores they have the audacity to ask what do they do the whole day? They think just because they work at the office they're job is done. A woman works from morning till she goes to bed and that's ignored. I too don't think this regressive mentality will ever change unless we change the mentality of our kids. For example my son helps me in winding up the kitchen alongwith my daughter. If the same thing is taught by every family then things might change. This has to come within not outside.

I agree with you both there are 1000s of things to change where women aren't given any value(in many areas)......smiley24

I was just asking for the side effects of one sided system......in the process of taking care of direct victims PPL are ignoring the ones who indirectly needed help and support toosmiley36
