Mustafa finally found a house he could afford. He spent the entire morning cleaning the dilapidated house, each corner revealing layers of dust and neglect. The once charming space now bore the marks of time—peeling paint, creaky floorboards, and cobwebs clinging to the corners. The effort had left him exhausted, his muscles aching from the relentless work. Finally, he sank down onto the floor and closed his eyes, allowing the weariness to wash over him. The house, though still in need of much care, felt a bit more livable, and the silence around him was a small reward for his hard work.
Sharjeena bustled around the kitchen, making ande parathe and chai, Mustafa's favourite. She hummed softly to herself. When she finished and walked out into the hall, she spotted Mustafa sprawled out on the floor. A tender smile played on her lips as she saw him resting so peacefully, the sight of him in his simple banyan making her heart soften with affection. Sharjeena settled onto the windowsill and began tracing the outline of his shadow on the floor, her fingers following the curves and lines with a slow, deliberate motion
The afternoon sun cast a warm, golden light through the window, setting the room aglow. Mustafa stirred from his nap on the floor, feeling the softness beneath him and the gentle caress of a breeze. As he opened his eyes, he saw Sharjeena sitting on the windowsill, her gaze focused intently on him with an unmistakable glimmer of mischief.
Her presence was magnetic, and the way she looked at him made his pulse quicken. Mustafa stretched lazily, trying to shake off the lingering traces of sleep. “kya baat hai?” he asked, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity and intrigue.
Sharjeena slid off the window still and knelt beside him, her proximity sending a jolt of awareness through him. Her eyes held a playful, almost challenging gleam as she reached out, her fingers trailing lightly over his arm.
“Mustafa,” she said with a teasing smile, “tumhein sukoon sa sotein dekha toh jagaya nehi, ache lag re ho.”
Her touch was light but electrifying, sending shivers down his spine. Mustafa met her gaze, a mix of anticipation and desire in his eyes. “Jaga deti, sath khana khalein, thanda ho gya hoga na?” he asked, his voice low with warmth.
Sharjeena leaned in closer, her breath warm against his skin. “Aur mera dil kuch aur karne ka ho toh” she whispered, her fingers grazing just a hint lower. The playful tension between them was palpable, charged with unspoken promises.
Mustafa’s breath hitched, his hand instinctively reaching to pull her closer. Their lips brushed in a fleeting, teasing kiss, an exchange that was both gentle and filled with the promise of something more. The kiss deepened, growing more passionate as the heat between them intensified.
As they continued, their movements became more urgent, each touch and kiss hinting at the growing intensity of their connection. The afternoon light seemed to enhance the sense of intimacy, wrapping them in a cocoon of warmth and desire.
