Abhira has problem with simple uptan. Her mother made choas to get attention of the family before her Tilak, even show nakhare for the color of lipstick. What has Ak taught her. Vidhya asked her to apply uptan means she genuinely accept her and trying to cover the absence of Ak, even though it is not completely possible. This was the first time I wanted Abhira to blurt out about ubtan to Armaan so that he could have told her that ubtan was for both of them for their wedding glow and nothing is regressive about it.

A girl needs to invest more time in her wedding shopping than the boy.For the first time I liked kajal 's dialogues today. They all are investing their time in the wedding and they expect same from the bride.

Vidhya needs to understand Abhira's work commitments and Abhira needs to understand that marriage is a one time affair. Woh kitni bhi badi badi baatein kar le but she herself wants to look best in her own wedding.

When Kaveri approached Armaan for applying uptaan he was also busy with some work. She understood that his pota is busy.So she just placed that uptaan on table and left. And in the next scene we saw Vidya approaching Abhira for the same. Even Ab was also busy in her work but Vidya applied it on her immediately. So scenario ek hain. But expectations alag hain. Kaveri doesn’t ask vidhya to apply uptan on abhira's face, it was vidhya's decision. If she asked to add something extra to the uptan it was because abhira is the bride. This type of things commonly happens in every household. Mostly mothers are the ones taking care this, if Ak was there she would have done it. Girls love to dress up and wants to be a centre of attraction on their own wedding. Even abhira's mother was not different. Not only in our country taking care of bride and groom happens everywhere.

The color discrimination only come into question when poddars or others constantly point out abhira's color. There was not a single scene till now. Kaveri, Sanjay, ruhi are always against abhira, but in none of the scenes they said you are brownie, or you are not light colored so you are bad.

💯 it's fact..for a career oriented women , the family / in laws need to be very supportive so if career is a priority , just look for ppl who would support you..but in abhiras case , she wants to fool herself by thinking she's getting a family , while it's nothing but a cage..Arman and poddars have always been a red flag...

See they don't have audience in itv for that kinda things. Their shows are catered towards rural folks and trp aunties. I am not demeaning anyone bt these shows aren't logical anyway then career expectations is too much. Just to show a characteristic they are using the career card. Before abhira also we have her mom who we all know what happened to her career.naira liked her dancing bt didn't take that career seriously. The purpose of fl is to be a good bahu and wife bas.

what I feel the miss is akshara never shared past life. Isn’t ubtan basically a face pack ..and don’t we have detanning face packs …to remove the dirt and grime of exposure to sun and pollution and make the skin look fresh and glowing …how is this about fairness ? Does this mean all the brides or their families opting for such things are racist? Women more than men want to look their best at their weddings …brides pore over designer wear catalogues and do look tests before finalising the wedding look not to mention the looks for each of the other events …also, if Abhira felt that Vidya was being racist or whatever in asking her to apply the pack, she could have told her straight ..if you genuinely want to build a bond with your mother-in-law, the first thing to do is befriend her and confide your fears in her and be transparent about what you want ..now if Armaan is going to take it up with Vidya or Kaveri, it is going to look like Abhira is instigating him …while that is not her intention and she’s merely sharing her fears or emotions, that is how it will come across ..Abhira is starting off the relationship on a wrong footing .. be it Kaveri or Vidya, why is it so difficult to put across her point in a polite manner ..she did it during the bank loan thing and convinced Kaveri ..so why not ask Vidya upfront if she’s hinting that her complexion is not good enough and give her the opportunity to clarify …build independent equations with people if you want to make your place in the family ..!

@bold: Ar ab ko thoda alag treatment toh definitely milega he na! Woh ghar itna regressive hai ki kisi bahu/beti ne kabhi job nahi kiya hai so abhira ke liye koi immediately itna nahi badal sakta ki usko thik waise he treat kare jaise Armaan ko karte ho.

Abhira ko bhi yeh samajna hoga ki jaise uske liye career ke sath chota sa compromise bhi nahi ho paata waise he unn sab ladies ke liye bhi uska hard core working woman attitude jhelna asan nahi hoga so usko aisa portray nahi karna chahiye ki uske sath badi zaakti ho rahi hai kyunki dono parties ko acce se pata hai ki unki soch ka koi Mel nahi hai.

So abhira took up the '"case" on the condition that girl should get compensation incase they separate? this is the first time the client is drawing a contract as per the lawyers wish and not theirs. What if that girl is really a gold digger ?
