I don't know if Sid will work as the main antagonist. Akshaye and John worked because they are Saif's contemporaries or can be perceived as such anyway so you believe they are credible threats and on equal footing with Saif. Sid would play more like Saif's son than anything else onscreen. Hard to take him seriously as a threat when he's so much younger.

I think it all depends on how the character is written. Their ages or seniority shouldn’t make a difference, if they’re well written.
